Fun little place. Excited to go back in summer 😁

Great place for pictures and a nice walk. Great little spot!
-
Beautiful and open with a lot of different types of plants and unique places to sit or admire
-
Beautiful place with details about its history. It's so peaceful except busy traffic hours as it's very close to the street. If you go further inside the park then it is pretty quiet and has restrooms and playground
-
This place is beautiful. It's small but so worth it to see.
-
A Simple garden to walk peacefully and big park inside
-
Beautiful garden, great playgrounds, shelters available to cookout and have parties.
-
Nice short walk through the Japanese garden.
-
It’s pretty if you’re in the area and worth the visit. I wouldn’t drive more than 10 mins to see it though, it’s not too exciting. Make sure you bring bug spray!!! We got eaten alive by mosquitos and went around 1 pm!

Nice quiet and we'll take care garden. It is few mines away from VB resort area.

Love this place... great for a walk to clear your head. Peace & serenity 😌

Calm, peaceful, small location. On the other side of this garden is a huge field which I didn't take photos.
-
Beautiful Japanese Garden. Love all the beautiful cherry blossom🌸 and gorgeous Camellia flowers ❤️

Not big, but a lovely little Japanese garden that's part of Red Wing Park. Part of the sister cities program between Virginia Beach and Miyazaki.
Plenty of lovely yoshino cherries, hydrangeas, Japanese maples, and other plant life. Several boulders. A small zen sand garden. A cute wooden arch bridge and a lovely little pond.
A short walk around the place, but there's a nice little pavilion and plenty of nice shady places to sit and hang.
The pollinator garden is also only a few feet away!
A great place to kill anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Nice atmosphere! -
This garden is absolutely serene. You can sit by the beautiful waterfall or watch the koi in the pond. Walk through to the other side and you come out to the beautiful Japanese Cherry Blossom trees!
-
Beautiful place to take a stroll with plenty of photo ops. Pets not allowed.

This Shrine is very well put at this location! We stop by to pay a visit and take some great photos. It is almost like being close the real thing when I was growing up in Tokyo 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

This a fantastic place for a casual walk or photos! Ive had plenty of photo shoots here and its absolutely beautiful. There is the red bridge over the river, lots of huge rocks, and a gazebo. Very well designed and a nice touch of color for backgrounds.
The forest beside it is also great for pictures and has a pathway that loops through. -
The serenity of Miyazaki Japanese Garden is unrivaled in Virginia Beach. The park planners took great pains to ensure this park adhered to the principles of Japanese garden design, IE every element has a purpose and each element should feel both organic and part of nature.
From the gravel paths and the koi pond to the expertly shaped bonzai maples and waterfall feature, this garden is both a feast for the eyes and a balm for the soul. This is generally a great place to meditate (unless people are running around looking for painted rocks) but please leave your bicycles and pets at home as both are not permitted in the garden. -
Red Wing Park is the greatest... great kid's area, dog park...and we love the well-maintained Miyazaki Japanese Garden near the entrance.
