I highly recommend Lawn Doctor for your lawn service. They hold up to their name “Doctor”. My lawn was very sick compared to others in my neighborhood; however, I can now say I am very proud to have one of the best looking yards since Lawn Doctor began servicing it.

I was spending about the same amount taking care of my yard with weed & feed, etc. and now don't have to do it myself. Also, I called to say Nutsedge popped up in several places around the yard and they showed up a couple days later and by end of day it was wilted and mostly gone a couple days later after that, so I'm impressed since i had a difficult time managing it prior. I just started with Lawn Doctor in Feb. 2020 and now we're in early June, am impressed how much better my yard looks now.

After 20 plus years of fighting with my yard, I started using Lawn Doctor of VB for my lawn service. Tom knows where I have different types of types of grass and different weed problems and treats them individually for best results and he is always available to answer any questions I may have. I am more than satisfied with the work they've done for me.

We called Lawn Doctor 3 years ago to help us with an absolutely disaster of a lawn. A consultant came out and we worked out a strategy to best fit our needs. Shortly after implementation we saw the results and were no longer ashamed of our lawn! We have had Lawn Doctor take care of our lawn ever since and can always rely on them to make sure our lawn is looking great.

Started using Lawn Doctor a few years ago after dropping the other major lawn service because of spotty work and poor results. I use the year around service and power seeding in the fall, which has worked out very well for our lawn. The technicians are always informative and up to date about my lawn service and recommended treatment. When I do have an issue I call the customer service number and April usually has a technician out to my house immediately. I would recommend them for your year round lawn care service. BJ Jones

The quality of their work is excellent and their annual lawn care plan has taken our lawn to among the best on Bay Island. This is my first year with Lawn Doctor. I have been very happy with both price and service. Applications were always done on time in Order to maintain weeds control etc. The main reason I went with this company was the fall Power Seeding. After 2-3 weeks of watering, I have complete grass coverage now. Looking forward to the spring growth.

After years of doing all my own lawn maintenance, I decided to let the professionals take over the seeding, weeding and fertilization. I reviewed several companies offering these services and went with Lawn Doctor and I am very glad that I did.
Starting with the office staff, they always answer the phone! That in itself is a big plus these days. They are attentive to my questions and follow up with answers and action.
The Technicians always leave a report about their visit detailing what they found, what they did, and what I am expected to do to get the most out of the service.
The lawn looks better than it ever did while I was doing all the work myself. The results of the power seeding application done at the end of last summer were quite impressive. I have already signed up for the next year's service.

Maybe it's just this local Lawn Doctor, but after using the online contact form I was emailed by the Lawn Doctor team to let me know that they don't service townhomes. The reason is that "...this is due to the small property lines and arrow paths with townhome(even if end units). Due to this we can’t get our machines though the ally way or even fit through the back/side gates because of the sizes of our machines, I do apologize."

They were apologetic, but my property actually opens to the road with an open-ended fence. I would have like a call to discuss my particular circumstances, but it would have also been nice to have something clearly posted on the website that said they don't do townhomes. I did find a we'll known competitor that does service townhomes, but a call would have been appreciated from the Lawn Doctor team, as a courtesy and as someone with the potential to recommend other homeowners.

Lawn Doctor is amazing! I purchased my home 37 years ago and treated my lawn myself for many years. After retiring I decided to hire a lawn care company, that was a disaster and a waste of money my lawn looked better when I treated it myself. My sister lives in New Jersey and no mater what time year I visit her grass is gorgeous, after complaining about my company she said, “ call Lawn Doctor” and I’m so glad I did. The first year I only had them treat the front I was to embarrass to show them the back it was about 50% clay 25% Fescue and 25% Bermuda, so while he was here treating my front yard for a summer treatment I took him to my back yard and asked “ do you think I can get grass back here?” He said yes but it’s best to wait for the fall. It may have been the middle or the third week in August when they did what ever they did I don’t know but I have the pretty grass I have ever seen, I can’t believe all the money I spent over the years just trying to get it to look halfway decent and Lawn Doctor turned it around in one year THANK YOU Lawn Doctor

Lawn Doctor of Virginia Beach is a reliable service for fertilizing, weed control, aeration, and power seeding. Other services offered are pest control and soil nutrients. My lawn is much improved. I recommend the service. After four years of services, I have talked to the front office many several times and found the team very responsive to my concerns. I have interacted with several technicians that serviced my yard and each was courteous and responsive to my wants. During the pandemic height the company owner, serviced my yard. Good people have given me good service.

I have had services from Lawn Doctor of Va. Beach for 20+ years. The reason I have had the for that long is quality. They do it all and their staff are kind and courteous and the girl on the phone is quite funny and sweet. They are great.
