We have been with Lawn doctor for 6 years. I most definitely recommend this company for your lawn care service. Lawn Doctor stands out from other lawn services. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your needs and requests are met. The work staff is always professional and arrive ready to work. Maybe it's just this local Lawn Doctor, but after using the online contact form I was emailed by the Lawn Doctor team to let me know that they don't service townhomes. The reason is that "...this is due to the small property lines and arrow paths with townhome(even if end units). Due to this we can’t get our machines though the ally way or even fit through the back/side gates because of the sizes of our machines, I do apologize."

They were apologetic, but my property actually opens to the road with an open-ended fence. I would have like a call to discuss my particular circumstances, but it would have also been nice to have something clearly posted on the website that said they don't do townhomes. I did find a we'll known competitor that does service townhomes, but a call would have been appreciated from the Lawn Doctor team, as a courtesy and as someone with the potential to recommend other homeowners.

Lawn Doctor is amazing! I purchased my home 37 years ago and treated my lawn myself for many years. After retiring I decided to hire a lawn care company, that was a disaster and a waste of money my lawn looked better when I treated it myself. My sister lives in New Jersey and no mater what time year I visit her grass is gorgeous, after complaining about my company she said, “ call Lawn Doctor” and I’m so glad I did. The first year I only had them treat the front I was to embarrass to show them the back it was about 50% clay 25% Fescue and 25% Bermuda, so while he was here treating my front yard for a summer treatment I took him to my back yard and asked “ do you think I can get grass back here?” He said yes but it’s best to wait for the fall. It may have been the middle or the third week in August when they did what ever they did I don’t know but I have the pretty grass I have ever seen, I can’t believe all the money I spent over the years just trying to get it to look halfway decent and Lawn Doctor turned it around in one year THANK YOU Lawn Doctor

Lawn Doctor of Virginia Beach is a reliable service for fertilizing, weed control, aeration, and power seeding. Other services offered are pest control and soil nutrients. My lawn is much improved. I recommend the service. After four years of services, I have talked to the front office many several times and found the team very responsive to my concerns. I have interacted with several technicians that serviced my yard and each was courteous and responsive to my wants. During the pandemic height the company owner, serviced my yard. Good people have given me good service.

I have had services from Lawn Doctor of Va. Beach for 20+ years. The reason I have had the for that long is quality. They do it all and their staff are kind and courteous and the girl on the phone is quite funny and sweet. They are great.

I found them on a local Va Beach business FB page. They were very responsive and able to give me a quote off of a few photos. They were able to get me on their schedule the next day, which was super convenient! I will definitely be using them in the future and telling all my friends about them!

I saw the guy working on my neighbors yard and asked him if he could do some work for me too. He didn't hesitate and fit me right into his schedule. Him and his crew were fast and effective and really made my yard stand out. I was really amazed. I will definitely be using these guys from now on.

Mike at Beach squirrel lawn care is very professional and prompt. We called several companies in the area to do a yard cleanup and maintenance at our rental property on the Northend of Virginia Beach . The cost for labor and service are comparable and fair. The quality of service was excellent and we highly recommend!

Wow! Absolutely fantastic! I had an overgrown backyard with some added damage from some trees on the city-owned property that backs up to our fence. Mike & his team came out and in a couple of hours it was looking better than I could have imagined. I’m so happy! They were prompt, polite, excellent work, and a fair price. What else can you ask for? I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use again.

In Sommer I like the garden spot..you can find the best plants..reasonable. The store is just great in general..got everything I need 👍👍

Inconsistent selection. Plants are extremely unhealthy. The vast majority of plants I've gotten from here died. The workers are extremely apathetic, unskilled and not knowledgeable on a grand scale. Even basiscs about their own store and/or how to look things up on their website. It's pathetic.

Just a fail. Seems like people in the parking lot AIM for pedestrians while driving by. Stop trying to run over the plant lovers FFS!!!
