Ordered 6 tons of fine sifted top soil to assist in redoing my lawn, was delivered piles of dirt with large amounts of concrete debri and plastic in it. Would not recommend if wanting topsoil. Would be good for contractor grade fill

We ordered a cord of split, seasoned firewood for the 2nd time. Opted for delivery and the entire process was very professional. The split wood is always well seasoned for our wood stove and the delivery driver was on time and provided a courtesy call before arriving. We will definitely give them a call again when we are in need of firewood.

First time going there to get some topsoil, there was no proper signage. I go back there and start shoveling and some guy pops up accusing me of being a thief, and when I explain that I didn't know how it worked here, he comes back the second time accusing me of being a liar. Great price on the top soil, but they don't hire quality people.

I called Jack frost for an estimate on yard drainage. Woody arrived to give me a estimate, he was not very helpful to say the least. I had 4 other companies out prior to get competing estimates and jack frost was recommended by a friend. Woody looked around, he was not taking measurements and kept making excuses about the project it sounded like he didn't want to work and or do the job. He also mentioned how expensive it would be. I ended up just telling him that it seemed like he did not want to do the work and told him to leave. Would not use this company for anything due to the quality of personnel and the lack of work ethic. We ended up going with AMC911 for our drainage issue and they were extremely professional, knowledgeable and technical. They also guarantee their work and they were very reasonably priced. ((AS you stated below that is a blatant lie, I told woody the neighbors had already agreed that any work that needed to be done we could have access. He chose not to go over there and talk with them. Feel free to call me if you like but I in no way shape or form stopped anyone from going anywhere or doing anything. Also woody said it was not a good idea to grade since the grade would have to be so high and would cause water backup to the house. I did say I did not want to grade due to the fact that is not a long term solution and would cause other issue. To which I conferred with a civil engineer on the best options for a long term solution. was drainage basins and french drain with selective grading. ))

I purchased 2 cords of wood, delivered. What I got was an enormous pile of wood, dirt, mulch and organic debris dumped in my driveway. This is the filthiest "firewood" I have ever seen. I usually pay my gardener $25 to stack 2 cords of wood, however given the scope of the clean up effort I had to shell out $80. We have been spraying this "firewood" with water for 2 days, attempting to get some of it clean enough to bring inside.

They provide the landscaping services at my complex. The other day they threw a rock from their edger into my glass front door. The door shattered. I spoke with Beth about this. They refuse to fix the door they broke. Beth admitted they threw rocks and mud on my front porch. Had to call and email several times to try and get some help. She claims they are not responsible for damages. Just unhappy with the whole situation. They shattered my glass door and refuse to help. Beware.

They may be small and have a limited selection, but their products are of high quality. Their plants are healthy, I would say a lot more healthier than some of the other bigger kids on the block. Looking for some boulders, they didn’t have any and directed us elsewhere....we did purchase some nice looking lime/lemon trees at a very good price. Good place, will be back.

Jack Frost has the kindest owners and employees. They have gone above and beyond for their community and are happy to do so. Will be doing all of my landscaping shopping here!

This place has a great product but they will not fill a half yard of material (at least compost/soil mixture) after noon on Sunday. I had purchased 2 yards earlier in the day and came in about 145 to order a half yard to top off my last job. Despite not being busy, they refused- they did make sure to tell me I could purchase a full yard and then ask the guy the dumping in to only pour half. I get it, it's probably a money saving policy but so is taking care of your customers.

We are very happy with our new front yard! We appreciate the quality of the work, and feel it was a good value for the finished product. They transformed our flowerbeds so that the front of our house now has curb appeal with stones and colorful flowers. Very pleased with their professionalism and service!

This is a great company! I had a lot of yard clean up work to do and needed some landscaping put in around a shed we added. Linwood had wonderful ideas and at every turn made suggestions on how we could accomplish our goals in the most cost effective way. The crew that came out was professional, friendly and efficient. I feel like I have a fresh start in my yard! I plan to bring them back in the spring to put in a patio. I highly recommend them!

We had work done in the front yard and backyard. The back was a drainage challenge, to say the least. All work was done professionally and with great courtesy. The team that worked on our yard were diligent, hard working, and neat - at the end of each day they cleaned up everything. We are very pleased with Jack Frost, their staff, and the services they provided. Thank you!

Went in there today and looked at the mulch and rocks for my house. Spoke to the owner and staff, very nice and professional. Had a great selection of everything I needed and at a fair price in my opinion. The shop was clean and welcoming. Would recommend you stop in and see for yourself :) will be definitely going back! I placed my mulch order for delivery and will be getting the rocks soon.

Do not buy mulch from here. I've been doing mulch for years and bought 3 yards from here and the first time it rained, all the dye washed out. I called to speak with manager and I was told I'd get a call. No call, so I finally call back and got someone on the phone. They was very rude, kept making excuse after excuse. I was told it needed to sit for 4-8 hours before rain, which it did and I informed them of. Then I was told it's just a risk you take with dyed mulch and was out of luck. Finally I asked if I could speak with someone else and he said he was the owner. Wow, some customer service. I wish I would have read all the reviews prior to doing business. Seems pretty common, breaking peoples windows, selling unseasoned wood for seasoned, selling poorly dyed mulch and taking no accountability for anything. Avoid this place.
*Unfortunately we can’t put statement to their reply, but as stated in review, the mulch was laid well before the 4-8 hours you recommend. Stop making excuses and be accountable for selling cheap materials. The only people prospering is you guys. You lost a good customer by not doing so and not correcting your mistake. I’ll go elsewhere

We have been using Jack Frost as a principal material supplier for over five years. They offer something really great in the variety and quality of their bulk materials. Consistency is great, and the speed of service is excellent.

Thier delivery service on bulk materials is the easiest in the city. Receptionists are fast and accurate, the amount of material you recieve is precise, and the delivery drivers have demonstrated some great problem solving and show great care for customer property. On many occasions we have ordered materials last minute and gotten them within 24 hours.

The garden center is small compared to others in the city, but that's not a bad thing here. There is always variety for all types of plants, and the team does a great job watering and caring for them.

The staff here are great. Jeremy in the garden center is a wealth of knowledge for when you need help. Everyone that works there is a receptionist, and they are always great at the door and answer the phone. The environment is very friendly and professional.

Dump truck driver cut us off on the road, then flicked us off and tried to stop us and argue in the middle of the road!!! I have it all on dash camera. they weren’t using their signals and cut right in front of our car and we almost wrecked. Absolutely unprofessional!!

Very disappointed using this company for the first time and had a hard time getting mulch delivered correctly. The customer service was terrible Jeremy the kid in charge was very rude and made sure he continued to speak over me as I was trying to explain what I needed for my company. Then because he couldn’t strong arm me he told me that our company could not use them anymore. I’ve never been treated this way from a company not even a fast food chain. Apparently customer service isn’t their forte. There are other companies that would be glad to take our business and other lawn care businesses we know since you think customer care is a big joke. Thanks Jeremy for again giving a new customer a hard time.

I’m a home owner and I went there to get a load of sand in my little trailer. The guy operating the loader was not only rude to me when I was trying to park for the load (annoyed I didn’t know exactly where to park) but he proceeded to dump the sand all at once from high up to purposely damage my trailer. I understand they aren’t responsible for the damages, but the fact he did it on purpose really annoys me. They will never see another dollar from me.

We’re new to the area and recently discovered Jack Frost Landscapes & Garden Center—what a hidden gem! They have everything you could want for your garden. I found the cutest hummingbird feeder, and they even had live ladybugs for sale—how cool is that? The kids had a blast releasing them in our garden. Huge thanks to Cheryl for the fantastic plant recommendations, she really knows her stuff! We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have purchased hardwood to burn for the winter from Jack Frost. The first time, we received a "normal" amount of debris; dirt, saw dust, mulch and bark. This time, we received a ridiculous amount of this extra waste. I called them and they did not really offer a solution except maybe sending someone out next week to pick some of it up. They dumped the wood in my driveway where I normally park my vehicles and expect me to wait til next week for them to "maybe" pick some of it up? This was uncalled for and I will re-think purchasing from them again. Buyer beware!!!
