ALM is where it’s at if you want a beautiful plush lawn! We’ve been with them for years now. Jason is very knowledgeable and keeps us informed on how to maintain our lawn throughout the seasons. I highly recommend ALM for complete lawn care without the hassle of trying to figure out what to do, they do it for us! (For what it costs for 1 bag of fertilizer it is less expensive for ALM do the math) I also recommend to mosquito control in the spring and summer, that for us is a must to keep the mosquitoes away! Thank you Jason for the exceptional lawn care !

Monty is very thorough. He is polite, and will answer all questions pertaining to the work that is being performed along with what to expect. He ensures that no trash is left on the premises and that all gates are properly secured. He knows that I have a small dog has always let me know if there is anything I need to be aware of and what time I can let my dog out. He is friendly, and always has a smile. You can tell this is someone that that takes pride in and enjoys his work.

We have been using ALM for several years now. Jason has been our technician for the last few years and has done a wonderful job with the spraying of our yard and letting us know of issues he sees and how to treat those issues. ALM is reasonable, saves me time, $$ and I don’t have to figure out what products to buy and when to use them .. it’s all done for me. Their office staff has always been courteous and return calls promptly to answer any questions. I’v referred ALM to many people as well as to my neighbors. It’s a great “local business” (not a chain) and to me that is even better!

He’s professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. He’s always thorough and makes sure everything is done right.

The best yard worker in the 757 and to mention great mentor to our youth met Ed when my son was in 6th grade and wanted to be a class clown thanks to Ed aka youth yard workers he made a difference in my son life got him on track gave him a job put him on the wrestling team and made him a beast he won the champion match finish high have a good job and doing what real men do

Had some nice plants. The decor is mostly for people that like sea decorations. Unfortunately every time you try to call them the phone rings five times then hangs up on you every time. I wouldn't give them a great rating for customer service

Really appreciate the coastal decorative accents inside and the incredible variety of plants and options outside. I always walk away inspired and with tons of new plants to try and keep alive! Service is friendly and someone is always available to answer questions. So glad to have this business located in the heart of southern Virginia Beach.

The store is lovely and it seems like a great place to take the family and hang out during the busy season which is why I am bummed we did not have a great experience. We went on a cloudy evening and it was slow in the restaurant. With the slow pace I would have expected better service. Out drinks sat empty for some time and we were never asked how the food was. I had a grilled cheese that was cooked on a dirty grill. The was some kind of sweet residue on the outside of the sandwich that was not appealing. The hand-cut fries seemed under done. I really wanted to like this place but the store brought the cafe up from 2 stars to 3.

Beautiful place to shop and eat. My wife has eaten at the restaurant before; she loved the food. I was happy to see the great selection of plants to choose from in their nursery. The prices were better than McDonalds Garden Center. All of the employees were following good covid-19 practices. Thanks for the great shopping experience.

Amazing selection of plants and good food

Misinformed about Native Species: I asked for native shrubs, and the staff at the garden center gave me several options that are well-known Asian imported species and not native to the US. He also recommended shrubs that are invasive in Virginia. Even when I pushed back and said that the recommended shrubs were from Asia, the staff member insisted that I was wrong.

Just wanted to take the time out and give a shout out to Mr Michael for taking the extra step in making customers feel comfortable. It was freezing cold and we were told there was no more propane in the tanks to light a fire. He went out of his way to fill the tanks and set us up warmly. Thank you man, you deserve a raise!!!

Need more employees with plant knowledge. I got 2 different answers about the warranty on plants and trees. I wanted to get some landscaping services done but no one there seemed to be able to answer questions. Not any better than the big box stores like home depot and Lowe's. Decent selection but much of the stock looked like it had seen better days. I know it's summer but the live goods need more attention and more consistent watering.

Very nice boutique garden center. Similar to Plow and Hearth but much more practical and much better variety. Very nice store layout, beautiful flower displays, and excellent atmosphere. There's even a café bistro attached and outdoor seating. If you're tired of all the souvenir shops, come here and pamper your senses. There's something for everyone! The only negative is that the music was turned up a little high for those of you with sensory processing concerns.

This was my first time visit to Anderson's. I thought I would see some beautiful plants and gorgeous pottery which I did. What I did not expect was a woman's and men's Boutique filled with clothes that you can't find anywhere else. The decorating section seemed like I had entered a Home Goods store with high end beachy and outdoor furniture . We decided to stay for dinner at The Sage Restaurant . The meal was not only delicious, the portions were heaping which satisfied my hungry husband. The whole atmosphere was charming and the staff engaged us in a polite way. We even got to speak to the president of the company, Jason , who was busy overseeing on a Sunday!! Now that's impressive. The only downside is we do not have one of these in Chesapeake!!!

Nice place and full of many things there. There's a lot to look at and buy for the yard. The plants are so healthy and beautiful. There is a play area for the family, kids play area to. They have a small restaurant and many drinks.

Always super happy getting food here. You always have a favorite place that might get 4 meals right and the 5th is slightly off. Sage kitchen always hits the mark. They really put thought into all of the items on their menu. My wife and I decided to have lunch, Mike, was a cool dude and made us feel at home grabbing a few drinks at the bar before and after lunch.

If you like plants this is a cool place to look through their inventory where they have people constantly tending to take care of the nursery. They are really helpful as well.

Sage Kitchen just hosted my retirement ceremony/celebration event on 7 May 2021. They exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The restaurant looked incredible, the staff were attentive, friendly, and fun, the food was amazing as usual. Marina is a true professional and she will make sure your event is spectacular. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was top notch. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Rude associate that would not give me cash for an item I received as a gift which still has tags attached and I had the receipt. I didn’t want store credit as I live 30 minutes away.
