Service First was quick and responsive when our furnace stopped working. They identified the problem and presented me with multiple options to accommodate different price points. They didn't try to pressure me into any particular options, but instead provided me with plenty of information so that I could make an informed decision. They even lent us some space heaters while we waited for the parts to come in! I'm a very happy customer and definitely recommend them!

It was finally time to get my 25-year-old AC in my Manassas home replaced, so I called a few places to get some estimates, and Jerry from Service First was one of the people to come out. He was very thorough and did a great job going over my options. He really listened to what I was looking for.

His estimate was very reasonable, and he and Eric came out a few days later to do the job. I couldn't have been more impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and their effort (replacing a full AC system is no small job!). By mid-afternoon that day I had a sweet new 2 ton Bryant AC/heat pump, and after a couple of weeks and some mid-90s weather I'm loving my new AC system.

My experience with Service First was great. Jerry and Eric were total pros, and on top of that they're just good people (they really like dogs, what more do I have to say?). Give them a call, you won't be sorry!

Sean went above and beyond to make sure that our home was safe and that our unit was running smoothly!! He made recommendations and was so kind and friendly while making quick work of our service. I have already recommended Service First to friends and family!

Seth and his team installed new HVAC in our house and serviced and cleaned the upstairs zone. All awesome work! They did the whole thing in a day. When they left they said it might take several hours to cool the whole house. Less than two hours later, the house is very cool and no humidity! Highly recommend Seth and Service First!

Service First Heating & Air was amazing! Andrew was able to come out the next day. I had purchased a new smart thermostat and needed a VERY old one replaced. Andrew took the time to inspect my system to make sure the new thermostat would work, and educated me about my system and how it operates. He was great. The price was very reasonable, as they charged me a flat rate for the install instead of by the hour like other places had quoted, which was good because he was there for two hours making sure everything was good with my system.

I called Seth on Monday and Sean was at my house on Wednesday morning. Sean was very thorough. He explained how my system could be repaired. Sean also explained that with the age of my system it could possibly start to nickel and dime me for constant repairs. He was not pushy or hard sell. Explained all my options. Due to the fact that my AC had crapped out of me four times in the past few weeks with all of these extremely hot days I decided to get my 18+ year old system replaced. My son's also advised me to replace it. Sean worked up everything for me on the spot. By the time he left I had my new install set up for the very next day. Eric and Peyton arrived promptly this morning and got to work. Both of these guys are hard workers, polite and explained how they were going to complete the job. My new system has a water damage safety switch so no more flooded and ruined floors. They also hooked up a surge protector to protect the motor during the frequent power outages we have in my area. Their work is very neat. I can't say enough nice things about working with this company. They have a new permanent customer in me. Lastly, they are very fair in their pricing. My old company gave me a quote end of last year and it was almost double what Service First Heating and Air's price was. If you are looking for a HVAC company that is prompt, honest, neat completed project and fair priced these are your guys!!

Jerry and his install crew were on time and very professional. They answered any and all questions we had. Jerry provided the best solution for our comfort resolving 15 years of huge temperature discrepancies between various parts of our home. It was an extreme pleasure dealing with an owner/operator you can trust! The install of our new furnace and A/C is extremely well done. He and his crew go above!

Called Service First and they were able to send a technician out almost right away! Kevin was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. This company rocks!

Fantastic service! Seth picked up the phone on my first call and sent Sean out to service my unit that was having trouble.
Sean was absolutely amazing, he took the time to walk through the home showing me the in’s and out’s of both of my units that I never would’ve known if he had not taken the time to walk me through it. Sean was not pushy on any products that I did not need and he was extremely professional to me and my entire family. We appreciate his Quality of work and look forward to continuing the service!

Jerry & his team were awesome to work with. They took excellent care when installing a replacement HVAC system. The whole team was professional, courteous, and left no mess to deal with. They all acted as if they were working on their own personal houses, excellent job. The new system is running great! Prices was extremely competitive also - I'd highly recommend First Heating & Air to anyone looking for a great service.

Eric arrived looked at our system, ran tests, and provided detailed information on it. Very friendly and professional individual. Provided options and services that all sound reasonable and make sense. Signed up for the maintenance plan and look forward to Service First helping to keep our system running. Wanted to also thank Seth for the great communication when I initially inquired about getting the system looked at, I unfortunately had to reschedule when Service First could come out a few weeks ago and there was no problem getting another day on the calendar. Sean came by to address concerns with dripping ventilation, he made sure to clearly explain the issues and his suggestions for fixing. I've used service first for a bunch of issues after moving into an old house and the whole team has always done a great job.

I called late at night and spoke with Seth who was able to set me up for an appt the next day. Sean came out, was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He let me know everything he was doing and completed his service relatively quickly. Thank you both for your service and look forward to seeing Sean again!

By far the best contractor experience I’ve ever had. Shawn was amazing.

Sean did a great job! He was timely and when he arrived, he listened well to the problem. After his brief evaluation, he explained thoroughly what was going on and how they needed to be fixed. He gave the appropriate recommendations and pricing before beginning work. He was neat and clean and personable throughout the process. He gave me tips for safety for future situations as well as a reasonable plan to make some improvements for the future. Not only did Sean do great work, he was very personable. I will certainly get him to come back for future work!

Air conditioning went kaput the first time we turned it on this spring. Got this company's name from local neighborhood website. Owner Jerry picked up on second ring at 4 in the afternoon, and shockingly said he could have a tech at my house within the hour. At 5, his tech Andrew - a very polite and knowledgeable young man - ran diagnostics and quickly determined that a refrigerant valve went bad and required replacement. Part was available at another location so they had the system up and running in 48 hours. VERY impressed and dogs happy!

I highly recommend this local company. Honest, efficient and trustworthy.

Seth, as always, is knowledgeable and helpful in diagnosing issues with our HVAC. He responds to calls in a timely and is always on time.

Shawn came out to service our unit. He explained the service process and suggested what service we needed moving forward to keep our unit running properly. He was very professional and explained everything in detail.
