This company is amazing. I saw the negative reviews but my experience was wonderful. Our AC unit went out this morning and by noon they had people out here to fix it. Which was better than 2 other companies I called, because the 2 other companies would not be able to get out here right away. We are in the heat of summer with a 4 year old and a 4 month old so it was critical to get this fixed right away. I believe Corey was one of their names I did not catch the other man's name. They were very professional, courteous, and down to earth. They did not try to charge for anything that was not needed, fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes, and did not charge an arm and a leg. They definitely have a customer for life, we will never go to anyone else with HVAC problems now. I have already started spreading the word about our experience with this company. Thank you so much for everything.

Since 2018, K and J Mechanical has been providing us with heating and cooling services, and they have been exceptional. After trying a few companies, we found their customer service to be excellent. Tyrone Green, who assisted us, was polite, efficient, and had some engaging stories to share while we waited for our cool air to start flowing again.

Great people to work with. Their team is professional, communication is always efficient, and the quality of work consistently meets expectations.

K&J Mechanical showed up on time and were uniformed and courteous of my time. Steven did my service and supplied me with an update of my systems maintenance and answered all my questions. I am still pleased that I bought the service contract. Thanks for doing a great job!

Great company, expert technicians, stand behind their work, excellent value for the services provided. Have been getting preventative maintenance services from this company for years at two different properties. Finally decided to replace two contractor grade 16+ year old systems and upgraded to more efficient Trane systems. As usual, K&J provided prompt, professional, detail oriented and thorough work on my installations and is now providing preventative maintenance on the new systems. Highly recommended.

They were recommended by family and I have used them several times for service. This was the first repair call and they were able to diagnose the problem and repair it on the spot. The technicians were polite, explained the issue, fixed it, completed the winter service on my units, and were on their way. Will use again and recommend to others. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that I would have like a heads up on the cost of the winter service when I made the appointment (since we knew what those would be.) The repair cost itself was very reasonable.

Love love love!! 10000/10! These folks did an AMAZING job when they came out to clean and fix my AC unit. Small businesses do it soooo much better!! The process of setting up my appointment was so easy!! I called and spoke with Thomas and explained what was going on with my house and he recommended services they offered. The technicians were so friendly, thorough, and COVID conscious! They took the time to explain how my system worked and how it was potentially going to cost me more in the future. This is the 3rd or 4th time we've had K&J come out to do various kinds of work, and we've found them to be consistent in their quality.. Thomas was able to book us an appointment much faster than we'd hoped. Collins arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, and did it. He also walked us through other information we'd requested. K&J is both professional and friendly. We couldn't ask for more.

K & J have been our hvac company since we moved to Williamsburg 9 years ago. They have provided excellent work and dependability. It’s a company that will NOT take advantage of its customers. You can always trust them.

K&J mechanical were very punctual, incredibly polite and very knowledgeable. From the initial scheduling call with there wonderful front office staff to the technicians who provided the service in my home, every person made me feel valued as a customer. They ensured my system was working perfectly before they left and overall gave incredible customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our A.C. stopped cooling on a Friday afternoon. I called K & J mechanical Friday night, and they sent a technician, Mr. Green, the next morning. He diagnosed the problem, gave the info to his manager, Mr. McLaurin, who provided me an immediate estimate for parts and labor for the repairs. I agreed, and they agreed to be back on Monday to make the repair. Monday, Mr. Green returned with the new Condenser fan motor, and in about two hours had my Unit working wonderfully! He worked diligently in the hot sun, to complete the job.I have great admiration and praise for him and the job he did. K & J responded quickly from the start, and provided excellent service until the job was finished. Mr Green is a cordial and extremely knowledgeable technician and a gentleman. In about 1 hours time he had my problem figured out. Even though it was a Saturday, he didn't have an "attitude" or act like it was a "chore" to be at my house. Same as his boss, Mr. McLaurin. They acted like they wanted my service and I appreciate that. The repair was reasonably priced and the quality of service was second to none. I highly recommend them, and would call them again anytime i need them. You can't go wrong with K & J.

I have not been impressed by a company like K&J Mechanical in quite a while. They are professional, polite, and considerate of my time. Upon entering my home, they immediately covered their shoes with paper booties, so as not to track in any dirt. Everything was explained to me in detail. I received a text the night before as a reminder of the appointment. That day I received a phone call telling me they were on the way. And afterwards I received a phone call asking if I was pleased with the work I would highly recommend this company.

We just wanted to say how much we appreciate the service we received form K & J Mechanical these past several days. We discovered on Thursday afternoon that our whole house A/C was not working. Analysts where here the next morning and almost immediately diagnosed the problem and passed the information to the office. Thomas was able to order the replacement part the same day, and, on Monday morning, the team was out to install it. Our A/C is now running perfectly. Kudos to all of the staff members involved who quickly and efficiently solved our problem. Great work, K & J!

The immediate response from K&J was the most pleasant experience we could have hoped for in a heatwave with a broken HVAC. Our unit was complete and running before noon one week from the day we called. The price was reasonable too. It's so nice to be completely satisfied and we will happily refer K&J to our friends. We are so grateful to be a client and know we have a company and staff to rely upon when needed.

Jan 2024, the coldest month in the year, my furnace located in attic cannot heat the whole house up. I suspected the furnace was in a bad condition. So I called K&J to come and maintain my furnace. The tech firstly thought the furnace was in good shape and then found the inducer in my furnace cracked which is not the cause of the heating issue, then he turned the furnace off immediately and left my whole family in cold without any mercy. He told me that CO gas could leak from the crack and poison people and their liability force him to turn the furnace off.

They told me the inducer cannot be replaced which is totally a lie!!! and sent me the quotes for brand new systems. One is to replace the furnace with ~5K, the other is to replace the AC + furnace with ~7K. Also the provide financial option with ~13% interest rate (please note FED rates now is ~5%).

It looks they considered your safety, but actually not! What they cared about is to purchase their new systems and make money. They hided the facts that the failed parts can be replaced and left my whole family in such cold month without any heat. Stay away from K&J!

I highly recommend K & J Mechanical. I had a new HVAC system installed and it went seamlessly smooth! Thomas called me the day after installation to ensure all went well. During the installation process Cory and his team were very professional and took great care and removing the old system going down my stairs and replacing the new system going back up the stairs. I am very pleased with my purchase and feel I got a good value for my money.

K&J Mechanical is an awesome company, they are prompt and have excellent service. I was so impressed with their employees and especially Collin George was professional and dealt with our A/C issue quickly and economically. I would highly recommend this great company for any of your HVAC and A/C needs. We are loyal customers for life.

I can not recommend this company enough. They are very professional and will come out lickety-split to service your home. They had my heater working at optimal performance in no time. I am so grateful and I look forward to seeing the difference in my energy bill..

Update: After the sleet and freezing rain of the last 24 hours, our outside compressor started making loud rattling noises. I called K&J Mechanical this morning, and Chris stopped by to break up the ice on the compressor and ensure there was no damage to the unit. We remain very happy with Tom and his crew to care for our HVAC system and highly recommend the company.

The technicians performed a thorough inspection and report for a system in a home my clients were considered purchasing. I am a real estate agent, so I meet many vendors and contractors. The professionalism and communication from this company is TOP NOTCH. My call was returned on a Friday after-hours, and the technicians were knowledgeable and thorough.
