I had Jose from J&S Electric switch out all of the electrical outlets in my condo. He arrived on time and got right to work. He did a really good job and didn't damage my walls at all. I also had him replace the exhaust fan in my bathroom and install lights in the ceiling of my shower.

Their fees were very reasonable and I would have them back again anytime I need electrical work.

I had J&S install a circuit for our car charger. They were very profesional from scheduling the work and doing the installation. Their techs were very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend J&S electric to anyone who is looking for a great local electrical company with reasonal prices!.

We used J&S to update our electric panel and install a generator transfer switch and could not be happier. The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable, wore masks and shoe covers in the house and took the time to explain everything once the job was completed. We had used them on a smaller job a few weeks back so we went ahead and used them again for this bigger project . Great company.

They could have easily had me pay for services that I didn't need (initially things that I had requested to have done), but they explained to me my options and offered an honest opinion which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend J & S Electric! We had a ceiling light go out. I called J & Electric. Sara politely scheduled our service appointment. I thought it was the wall dimmer switch that needed to be replaced, but Jose quickly found the problem; there was a short circuit in the ceiling light. Jose went to the store and got two high quality LED ceiling light fixtures to replace the damaged fixture and another matching fixture, as I requested. He did an excellent job replacing the ceiling light fixtures and replacing the old wall dimmer switch with a modern wall dimmer switch. We are very happy with our new ceiling lights and our new wall dimmer switch. J & Electric provided exactly what we needed, with great professionalism and courtesy. Abraham was so easy to work with, he helped fix some lights upstairs, got my remodel up to code, and was super fast and efficient. I had called two other electricians before this, one didn’t even mention how terrible the electric work in the attic was after my remodel and the other said they’d call back and didn’t. Highly highly recommend these guys, they’re honest and will get you what you need!

Jose and Dave from J&S Electric recently installed two GFCI 20 amp outlets for us. They were extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and respected our wishes to wear masks while in the house and wore shoe coverings as well. Jose made a point of explaining everything that they needed to do (and the reasoning behind it) to complete the job. They worked quickly and completed a great professional looking job in the process running the wiring from the breaker box in the garage to a room on the lower level. They cleaned up thoroughly and completely when the job was completed. We felt that the price was reasonable and fair, and we could not be happier with the results. Jose also coordinated with Fairfax County for a virtual inspection of the work, which he expeditiously arranged for the following Monday. The work passed the inspection with no problem. We will be upgrading our existing breaker box (installed in 1958) at some point and will not hesitate to contact J&S when we do. I highly recommend J&S if you have a need for electrical work as we really thought they were great.

I had J+S do the electrical on a custom sauna installation. They were so easy to work with I had them handle a bunch of other miscellaneous projects that I had been putting off. In wall HDMI cable replacements, exterior lighting, recessed lighting replacements etc.

I have used J&S Electric for my last 3 homes for over 6 years now. Jose is an excellent electrician who knows his stuff and stands behind his work. He never tries to upsell you, in fact, he has SAVED me money many times by suggesting a better and cheaper way. I recently request to have a sub panel installed due to my main panel not having any spare breakers but Jose was able to reconfigure the breakers on the panel to free up space and install a 60 amp circuit for my Tesla Wall Charger. Total cost ended up being a fraction of what a subpanel install would be.

J&S Electric is an amazing company for all your electrical needs. We needed several tasks completed including having an additional power socket added to our garage, several light fixtures were flickering and needed attention, plus several flip switches throughout the house just were not working properly. We searched extensively to find a reliable company with good reviews before we called J&S Electric, and we were definitely impressed. We were so happy to work with Sara who explained how their company worked the initial consult...her customer service was wonderful! Then, when Jose and Santos came to do the work, we were very happy. They're professional yet so friendly and courteous. Even our little rescue dog loved them! Jose and Santos fixed our over the sink light fixture in our kitchen and in the laundry room and did such a good job, it's like we have a new home...their work is impeccable. Their pricing was excellent as well. We simply cannot recommend J&S Electric highly enough...they work very hard to earn your business and we are so grateful we listened to the advice of other customers who were equally happy with their work. J&S has always provided us with great service. This is the 4th time we have used them for our electrical needs and we couldn't be more satisfied. We already know we're going to have some additional work done and won't hesitate to call J&S.

Very happy with the technician Jose, who was polite and professional throughout the visit.
I called J&S to address an issue we had with the microwave tripping circuit breakers and a kitchen dimmer light switch not working.
He fixed the microwave issue, and while troubleshooting the dimmer switch problem found multiple issues with the wiring behind the dimmer switch and several other kitchen outlets. The wiring was sloppy and not to code; even my untrained eye could see that.
Jose explained the issues in terms I understood. He troubleshot/rewired/fixed three kitchen outlets, and replaced one GFCI outlet that had gone bad, as it had obvious burn marks on the reverse. And he provided me "before" photos of the wire issues that I will use when I address the wiring / install issue with the contractor that remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago.
I would definitely use J&S again, and plan to have them install new lights in our basement in the coming weeks.

An honest family owned electric company that has friendly staff from Sarah who answers the phone to Jose who did the work for us. We have used them once already and we were pleased with how professional everyone was. We hired them for another job and no doubt that we will be pleased with their work yet again!
