During the pandemic I have worked with several different contractors (electrical and non-electrical) for various house remodeling projects. I can hands down say that my project with Custom was the best experience out of everyone. These are good people with good work. It was hassle-free and everyone (office staff and electricians) were very communitive and easy to get ahold of throughout the process. Today the state inspector came by and approved of everything. He had good things to say about Custom's work as well.

Timeline: Placed downpayment, electricians were out about 2 weeks later, the electrician and apprentice did 2 days of work, the electricity was only shut off for a few hours on the first day, state inspector came out a couple of weeks after that. Expect that the state inspector scheduling may be a bit challenging due to increased home renovation projects in the Seattle area, but that is out of Custom's control.

My project included:
- Permits and utility fees. Custom took care of all administrative filings and communication with PSE and WA LnI.
- 200am panel replacement w/surge protection
- Upgrade main grounding/bonding system. Including a bonding to my water main, which I did not previously have.
- 30amp 240v outlet for RV. I chose to have the conduit run about 12 feet along the outside of the house due to things blocking it on the other side.
- 50amp generator interlock

Michael did an amazing job locating where the burnt connection was in my wall. This was a fire waiting to happen and I'm sleeping much better knowing that this fixed. I have another room that I need an outlet relocated and will definitely be calling them again!

Highly recommend Custom Electrical Services. Scheduling was quick and pricing is very reasonable. Don did a great job with the installation of an EV charger as well as troubleshooting some minor electrical issues in our home. He took the time to explain things, clean up the area, and was very professional throughout. Will definitely be using them again for any future electrical needs!

Don and Nate was on time, took less than an hour to install Tesla wall connector, very friendly, answered all our question and explained us very neatly.

I got a NEMA 14-50 outlet (50 Amp breaker) for electric car charging. The entire process was seamless. Open the website, answer few questions, upload the requested pics. Got a quote in 2 hours and was able to get an appointment booked right after that.

The electrician was super courteous and professional and wrapped up the work in under 45-60 minutes. He even explained the entire process to me and asked me my preferences even before starting anything.

I am so impressed because I did reach out to 5 different companies and I am still waiting for a reply from 3 of them. Another one reached out but stopped responding after my follow up questions.

I will recommend custom electrical to anyone without any concerns.

These guys are great. I needed some electrical work done for a landscaping project and they delivered. The estimate was accurate, the work was completed on time and done well. They cleaned up afterwards and were completely professional every step of the way. As an added bonus both of the guys who did the work were decent and funny people.

10 outta 10! I had the opportunity to work with this company and I was extremely impressed. Chris was super knowledgeable, flexible and was very friendly. His team were equally the same. I trusted that they knew what they were doing and they took my suggestions and made me feel like our needs were important. A BIG! plus in customer service! We had such a great experience getting our Ford charger installed. Honestly, we were a little worried at first about the cost, timing, and how everything would go, but Custom Electrical Services made it so easy. They’re the recommended vendor from Ford/Qmerit in our area, and they definitely lived up to it.

Kristen and Justin reached out with a quote right away and answered all our questions. They updated the quote as needed, got us scheduled, permit, and had everything installed in just less than 2 week! It could’ve been done even sooner, but I was traveling, so the timeline worked out perfectly for us.

Don, the installer, was fantastic. He showed up on time, did a great job with the installation, organized the charger location, and even cleaned up everything before he left. Kristen scheduled the inspection for the next day, and we passed with flying colors.

Absolutely amazing experience with Custom Electrical! I called about getting an EV charger installed and the tech was out the next day at 7:30am. Install took about 30 minutes and the work was phenomenal. In addition, the tech was super friendly and professional. Highly recommend using this company for any electrical needs!

Second job these folks have done for us.
First was a car wall charger 240V/60Amp
Second was a generator interconnect outside, to run our Firman T07571 from Costco.
All permitted and passed inspection.

My brand new Amazon 1500 Watt heater kept tripping my 15 Amp garage GFCI circuit, so I realized that I needed a new 20 amp circuit breaker, 12 gauge line and outlet, Doh!! I’m familiar with electrical, but didn’t want to deal with the required permit. So I removed the drywall, checked reviews and sent out a Yelp request. Custom Electrical Services responded extremely quickly, (less than 2 hours) with a reasonable quote. Then they scheduled me for the next day. Wow! While they were working at my home, I asked them about a garage outlet that I had attempted to install a year earlier, but ran into difficulties. It was sitting there as an unfinished project. They were able to install the new 20 amp circuit breaker, run a new 12 gauge line, an outlet AND a separate new 15 amp for my unfinished project. They didn’t have that other breaker with them so they had to return early the next day. This worked out as they were able to obtain the state required electrical permit and the inspection was performed virtually as soon as the work was as completed. The second day with the inspection only took 20 min! They came out when they said they would, did a great job, cleaned up the worksite, and got through the inspection. I contacted them on a Monday and everything was completed by 8:30 am on Wednesday.

I contacted Custom Electrical this morning, and I was impressed by their prompt response—they were able to set up an appointment within an hour and arrived right away to install my EV charger. Jake, the electrician, did a fantastic job with the installation. His professionalism and expertise were evident from the moment he arrived. He worked efficiently and carefully, ensuring that everything was installed correctly and safely. Jake's attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service truly stood out. I am extremely satisfied with the work he did and would highly recommend him and Custom Electrical to anyone in need of electrical services.

Recommend by Tesla, Custom Electrical Services completed the reconfiguration of my panel and installed a Tesla Universal Wall Connector. They did a great job and performed a very clean and nice looking installation. They made sure I was briefed on all the intricacies of use, and connected it to my WiFi. I feel the price was very fair, and they made sure I was qualified for the sales tax exemption in WA state. Overall I was very satisfied and would highly recommend them!

Had a great experience with Custom Electrical Services. Their initial response to my inquiry was on a weekend which really surprised me and once I received the quote, everything flowed seamlessly. We purchased our charger through PUD, simply due to the instant rebate option, and once we confirmed we had it on hand they were at our house for installation in just a few days. I will highly recommend Custom Electrical Services LLC of Seattle. They were professionals from beginning to end since first contact. They were the first to contact me by email and phone, immediately they knew what they and I needed to install a new Tesla Home Charger. It was a task because my panel was at the other side of my house. They sent Jeff and Mitch for a quotation and then a manager came to do the final inspection. They came right on time the day of install and they did the job nonstop in a couple of hours. They were courteous, polite, clean, happy to provide service and professionals over all. They gave me all the information of what they were doing and went the extra mile. The installation looks amazing and passed the inspection at once. Beyond fantastic service! These guys were not only very knowledgable but a pleasure to work with. They upgraded our residential home by replacing the old 1930's knob and tube with a full modern electrical upgrade. They took the time to make sure that we had electricity when we got home from work during a multi-day project and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I have worked with a lot of service people over the years and this team was by far, the most professional that I have encountered. Special appreciation to Don for making any questions we had, easy to understand and for making the whole process enjoyable to experience.

I have had 2 wonderful experiences with Custom this year. We are working on site preparation for a large shop and Joe came in for a free estimate and planned out the job. They arrived on time and were prepared. It was a job that took two days and all 4 employees were polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Joe has been a great communicator. And his crew mirrors his professionalism

They installed a breaker in my panel, ran line under the house, and then installed the new outdoor panel and 2 20-amp outlets to the back of the lot where the shop will be built. They had all of the tools needed, kept the indoor spaces clean, wore masks indoors, and were nice to my crazy dog. Throughout the work I was impressed with Joe's crew and how fast and neat they worked. on site, Kevin kept me updated as he progressed and they called when on their way to confirm arrival on Day 2.

I will use them again in the future and definitely trust my electrical needs to them. Side note, I also appreciate the way they handle the bidding process with a detailed explanation by email and then a simple invoice process on line. Their bid beat two other companies and I believe their reputation is better too based on feedback in the neighborhood.

I had an excellent experience start to finish with Custom Electrical Services.

I was looking to add outlets to 3 of my bathrooms for electric bidets and reached out to them on Yelp. After getting an initial quote, an electrician came by a few days later to inspect my house to better understand the work involved. I received a final quote that same day. I got a quote from 1 other company that was slightly more expensive, and their proposed work was more invasive (cutting more holes, conduit outside the house which wouldn't be allowed by my HOA)

Once I agreed to work with them they got me on the schedule the following week. 3 technicians, Brandon, Travis, and James arrived and went over the scope of work. They found that the plan by the initial electrician who came by would not work and they gave me an updated plan. They kept me updated as they were doing things, such as if the power would have to go off which it only did for a few minutes. They were absolute professionals throughout the entire process.

The end result was better than I expected: the drywall damage was even less than I thought it would be considering the work involved, they got everything done in a few hours, and of course I now have outlets at my toilets for my bidets.

I will certainly be reaching out to them for any upcoming electrical work in my home!
