It's always a special experience when you're able to find a first class company that excels in their business dealings. Custom Electrical Services cares about and goes the extra mile to insure their customers' satisfaction. Both Brandon and Travis were most kind and listened to the details of my electrical malfunction. Brandon returned a second day to finalize my repairs and insure they would suitably solve the issues I was having. I will most definitely reach out to them again for future needs.

My wife is getting an EV car and we wanted to install an outlet for the car charger. It is 240v with at least 50 amps. One business I called came out, gave a bid to which I agreed but then never scheduled because they said they did not have the part. I then contacted other electricians but they all wanted to see the site and many wanted a fee just to see the site. When I called Custom Electrical Services it was clear from the beginning they knew more than the others to which I had talked. First, they were the only ones to notify me that there needed to be a permit, but they would take care of it. Second, they have extensive experience with installing car chargers. Third, they were able to give me a price by me just sending a picture of the Electrical Panel. Fourth, with my kind of car charger, they recommended wiring directly to the charger which means I could have a 60 Amp circuit which then gives 48 AMPS for actual charging. It was also less expensive to wire directly to the charger than to install a plug. They came in the time frame they set up. They did not require an upfront payment, but billed me by email. They provided paperwork so that I did not have to pay sales tax as there is a sales tax exemption in the State of Washington for this type of work. The electricians were extremely knowledgeable and made sure prior to leaving that I had the charger connected to my wifi and my phone. I could not be more pleased.

I am glad I called these guys. Needed a transfer switch installed so we can use a generator to power the house in an outage. Daniel came out and did an absolutely fantastic job, I couldn't be happier. Daniel and assistant were punctual, professional, and did things right. It's worth using a licensed contractor for jobs like these. We tested out the new generator and it powers everything with PLENTY left. Very happy, will use them again if needed, 5 stars easy

These CSE is super easy and friendly to work with. The were sent out to set up my Ford Pro-Charger for my new truck and they made it so easy. Scheduling, setting up tax emption, and day of installation were all a breeze. Jeff was a super tech, very informative, and great to talk with. I will for sure think of them for future electric projects.

During the pandemic I have worked with several different contractors (electrical and non-electrical) for various house remodeling projects. I can hands down say that my project with Custom was the best experience out of everyone. These are good people with good work. It was hassle-free and everyone (office staff and electricians) were very communitive and easy to get ahold of throughout the process. Today the state inspector came by and approved of everything. He had good things to say about Custom's work as well.

Timeline: Placed downpayment, electricians were out about 2 weeks later, the electrician and apprentice did 2 days of work, the electricity was only shut off for a few hours on the first day, state inspector came out a couple of weeks after that. Expect that the state inspector scheduling may be a bit challenging due to increased home renovation projects in the Seattle area, but that is out of Custom's control.

My project included:
- Permits and utility fees. Custom took care of all administrative filings and communication with PSE and WA LnI.
- 200am panel replacement w/surge protection
- Upgrade main grounding/bonding system. Including a bonding to my water main, which I did not previously have.
- 30amp 240v outlet for RV. I chose to have the conduit run about 12 feet along the outside of the house due to things blocking it on the other side.
- 50amp generator interlock

Michael did an amazing job locating where the burnt connection was in my wall. This was a fire waiting to happen and I'm sleeping much better knowing that this fixed. I have another room that I need an outlet relocated and will definitely be calling them again!

Don did a great job with the installation of an EV charger as well as troubleshooting some minor electrical issues in our home. He took the time to explain things, clean up the area, and was very professional throughout. Will definitely be using them again for any future electrical needs!

Don and Nate was on time, took less than an hour to install Tesla wall connector, very friendly, answered all our question and explained us very neatly.

I got a NEMA 14-50 outlet (50 Amp breaker) for electric car charging. The entire process was seamless. Open the website, answer few questions, upload the requested pics. Got a quote in 2 hours and was able to get an appointment booked right after that.

The electrician was super courteous and professional and wrapped up the work in under 45-60 minutes. He even explained the entire process to me and asked me my preferences even before starting anything.

I am so impressed because I did reach out to 5 different companies and I am still waiting for a reply from 3 of them. Another one reached out but stopped responding after my follow up questions.

I will recommend custom electrical to anyone without any concerns.

These guys are great. I needed some electrical work done for a landscaping project and they delivered. The estimate was accurate, the work was completed on time and done well. They cleaned up afterwards and were completely professional every step of the way. As an added bonus both of the guys who did the work were decent and funny people.

We had such a great experience getting our Ford charger installed. Honestly, we were a little worried at first about the cost, timing, and how everything would go, but Custom Electrical Services made it so easy. They’re the recommended vendor from Ford/Qmerit in our area, and they definitely lived up to it.

Kristen and Justin reached out with a quote right away and answered all our questions. They updated the quote as needed, got us scheduled, permit, and had everything installed in just less than 2 week! It could’ve been done even sooner, but I was traveling, so the timeline worked out perfectly for us.

Don, the installer, was fantastic. He showed up on time, did a great job with the installation, organized the charger location, and even cleaned up everything before he left. Kristen scheduled the inspection for the next day, and we passed with flying colors.

Absolutely amazing experience with Custom Electrical! I called about getting an EV charger installed and the tech was out the next day at 7:30am. Install took about 30 minutes and the work was phenomenal. In addition, the tech was super friendly and professional. Highly recommend using this company for any electrical needs!

Second was a generator interconnect outside, to run our Firman T07571 from Costco.
All permitted and passed inspection.

My brand new Amazon 1500 Watt heater kept tripping my 15 Amp garage GFCI circuit, so I realized that I needed a new 20 amp circuit breaker, 12 gauge line and outlet, Doh!! I’m familiar with electrical, but didn’t want to deal with the required permit. So I removed the drywall, checked reviews and sent out a Yelp request. Custom Electrical Services responded extremely quickly, (less than 2 hours) with a reasonable quote. Then they scheduled me for the next day. Wow! While they were working at my home, I asked them about a garage outlet that I had attempted to install a year earlier, but ran into difficulties. It was sitting there as an unfinished project. They were able to install the new 20 amp circuit breaker, run a new 12 gauge line, an outlet AND a separate new 15 amp for my unfinished project. They didn’t have that other breaker with them so they had to return early the next day. This worked out as they were able to obtain the state required electrical permit and the inspection was performed virtually as soon as the work was as completed. The second day with the inspection only took 20 min! They came out when they said they would, did a great job, cleaned up the worksite, and got through the inspection. I contacted them on a Monday and everything was completed by 8:30 am on Wednesday.

I contacted Custom Electrical this morning, and I was impressed by their prompt response—they were able to set up an appointment within an hour and arrived right away to install my EV charger. Jake, the electrician, did a fantastic job with the installation. His professionalism and expertise were evident from the moment he arrived. Recommend by Tesla, Custom Electrical Services completed the reconfiguration of my panel and installed a Tesla Universal Wall Connector. They did a great job and performed a very clean and nice looking installation. They made sure I was briefed on all the intricacies of use, and connected it to my WiFi. I feel the price was very fair, and they made sure I was qualified for the sales tax exemption in WA state. Overall I was very satisfied and would highly recommend them!

Had a great experience with Custom Electrical Services. Their initial response to my inquiry was on a weekend which really surprised me and once I received the quote, everything flowed seamlessly. We purchased our charger through PUD, simply due to the instant rebate option, and once we confirmed we had it on hand they were at our house for installation in just a few days.
