I will highly recommend Custom Electrical Services LLC of Seattle. They were professionals from beginning to end since first contact. They were the first to contact me by email and phone, immediately they knew what they and I needed to install a new Tesla Home Charger. It was a task because my panel was at the other side of my house. They sent Jeff and Mitch for a quotation and then a manager came to do the final inspection. They came right on time the day of install and they did the job nonstop in a couple of hours. They were courteous, polite, clean, happy to provide service and professionals over all. They gave me all the information of what they were doing and went the extra mile. The installation looks amazing and passed the inspection at once. I will highly recommend to go with this company for EV Charging connection and any other services. Kudos to Jeff and Mitch for being the best electricians and glad I had you guys here at my place. Thank you!!!

Beyond fantastic service! These guys were not only very knowledgable but a pleasure to work with. They upgraded our residential home by replacing the old 1930's knob and tube with a full modern electrical upgrade. They took the time to make sure that we had electricity when we got home from work during a multi-day project and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I have worked with a lot of service people over the years and this team was by far, the most professional that I have encountered. Special appreciation to Don for making any questions we had, easy to understand and for making the whole process enjoyable to experience.

I have had 2 wonderful experiences with Custom this year. We are working on site preparation for a large shop and Joe came in for a free estimate and planned out the job. They arrived on time and were prepared. It was a job that took two days and all 4 employees were polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Joe has been a great communicator. And his crew mirrors his professionalism

They installed a breaker in my panel, ran line under the house, and then installed the new outdoor panel and 2 20-amp outlets to the back of the lot where the shop will be built. They had all of the tools needed, kept the indoor spaces clean, wore masks indoors, and were nice to my crazy dog. Throughout the work I was impressed with Joe's crew and how fast and neat they worked. on site, Kevin kept me updated as he progressed and they called when on their way to confirm arrival on Day 2.

I will use them again in the future and definitely trust my electrical needs to them. Side note, I also appreciate the way they handle the bidding process with a detailed explanation by email and then a simple invoice process on line. Their bid beat two other companies and I believe their reputation is better too based on feedback in the neighborhood.

I had an excellent experience start to finish with Custom Electrical Services.

I was looking to add outlets to 3 of my bathrooms for electric bidets and reached out to them on Yelp. After getting an initial quote, an electrician came by a few days later to inspect my house to better understand the work involved. I received a final quote that same day. I got a quote from 1 other company that was slightly more expensive, and their proposed work was more invasive (cutting more holes, conduit outside the house which wouldn't be allowed by my HOA)

Once I agreed to work with them they got me on the schedule the following week. 3 technicians, Brandon, Travis, and James arrived and went over the scope of work. They found that the plan by the initial electrician who came by would not work and they gave me an updated plan. They kept me updated as they were doing things, such as if the power would have to go off which it only did for a few minutes. They were absolute professionals throughout the entire process.

The end result was better than I expected: the drywall damage was even less than I thought it would be considering the work involved, they got everything done in a few hours, and of course I now have outlets at my toilets for my bidets.

I will certainly be reaching out to them for any upcoming electrical work in my home!

Awesome experience. I worked with several people at Custom Electrical Services who all contributed to this being a success. Of course when you get bids it's easy to pick the lowest number, but there are so many other factors to consider.

Cost: I got three bids and they offered me the most competitive price. So that’s a good start.

Reliability and Timing: These guys showed up on time and ended on time. They committed the resources to make sure the job got done. Kyle was finishing the job and when he left, he had taken care of every last detail.

Expertise: Luis was managing the job at my house and he is INCREDIBLE. He is smart and has so much experience. He came with fresh ideas and advice I had never considered, and helped me craft the most perfect lighting plan for my house.

Flexibility: I decided on some changes mid-way through and it was really critical to work with a company that was happy to accommodate these.

Quality of Work: Their work is beautiful. Tidy and thoughtful. No random damage and problems that you’ll find with other contractors. The wiring is clean, and they consider every detail. They also take the time to show you your options and not just assume things.

Communication: Excellent across the board. Josh was great in coordinating the job and checking in. Luis kept me informed at every step along the way. Also, between phases and I had a bunch of time-sensitive questions that came up and he responded to me instantly! Luis is an angel an went way above and beyond. Kyle also had great communication; he even let me know right away when some other contractors showed up at my house unbeknownst to me… I am so thankful Kyle was looking out for me and my house.

Overall Experience: I’m simply grateful. This project could have easily been a disaster since I needed so much guidance, but they were thoughtful and patient and took the time to make sure my dream became a reality. Their customer service is awesome and it is so clear that these guys are extremely trustworthy and they just CARE. It goes a long way.

5 stars but beware: VERY EXPENSIVE, especially when paired with a third party intermediary like Electrum/Genesis. I have an EV charger installed and their quote was ~$500 MORE than all other quotes from licensed electricians. I thought I was getting a good deal the fist offer from Electrum/Genesis but then the actual quote was a lot more!!!. Oh well...Just bewar!

These folks are great!! They texted a half hour before showing up, which is really nice when you have only an appointment window. The electricians and the office folks communicated well and thoroughly, worked quietly and efficiently, and quoted accurately. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

I scheduled two projects with them recently: an EV charger install, and a panel surge protector install. Scheduling both was easy, and they were fast to respond to my quote request. For the EV charger install, they offered to honor a 2+ year old quote on an EV charger install which saved me $300+. The installer showed up on time and was communicative with the process. He properly pulled permits and went through a virtual inspection.

The panel surge protector was even easier. During the quote request, they took previous photos that they had and gave me an immediate quote. The tech came out, on time, and was able to get it installed in less than 30 minutes. Their quoted price was $100 less than another quote I got.

They've come out to fix a few issues here and there throughout the years and I cannot recommend them enough!

The process from requesting initial quote to getting the installation done was smooth, fast and professional. Brittany from the office was really responsive and she even shared and was able to match and bid the other quotes on same scope of work. While Jeff was professional and really friendly and got the tesla wall charger installed beautifully for us. We highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.
