It's great to see merry Maids come reliably to clean up our house. Please make the bed so that the top sheet folds over the blanket by at least 8 inches.

Worst cleaning in over 35 years. Two person crew was nice and it was easy to communicate. They dusted very well, where they dusted. They missed my desk, desk lamp, and window sill. They did okay with the bathroom sinks, counters, tubs, mirrors, and showers - except they missed the top of the showers where the tile meets the wall. They said the vacuum they had was too powerful to use on our area rugs, so these were skipped (okay if the vac may have damaged the rugs). Problem is the three rooms with regular carpeting were left uncleaned too. After they left I used my inexpensive old bagless upright and picked up more than half a container of dirt from the carpets. Was their vac not working right? Was it bad technique? The rooms are small BTW. Next, I noticed the floors did not 'feel' clean. So, I used my old neutral cleaner and a 12x6 flat mop bonnet. The picture shows the results for the two bathrooms, laundry room, and by the sink, dishwasher, and fridge in the kitchen. This was after they said they had cleaned. **** Click on my name, From Brooklyn, to see picture **** They also missed the front of the fridge, and left the kitchen counters feeling rough instead of clean.

Was it the crew, bad technique, poor equipment - or a combination? All I can say is I got half a cleaning and was charged the full price - PLUS extra because it was the first time. I thought the first time extra charge was maybe for a deeper cleaning, but when I called I was told it was just an extra fee. Well, my wallet got a deep cleaning.

I asked for a 50% refund to cover what they did not do. Instead I was offered a supervisor to check the work the next time - and maybe a different crew. No thanks!. Why would I want them to come back when clearly the job was botched.

Maybe a different crew would do better, but using the same equipment and similar techniques is not likely to result in a better job.

Normally I would not do a follow-up to a response. However, this time I find it necessary. Your response has conflicting statements. NO, do not come back on 9-25!

The poor cleaning job did not become obvious until after the 24 hour window had passed. Yes, the house did have a sort of clean look, but until one felt the floors and kitchen counters, noticed the hand prints on the front of the fridge, and the debris still on the floor in one bedroom. it was not clear, while your people were here, that the job had been botched. The walk through felt rushed.

Merry Maids may indeed be highly respected nationwide, but this franchise left us cold.

Emily did an amazing job cleaning my home at the last minute. Especially knocking out those fussy rings in my toilet (hate those). Would definitely book her and her team again.

The cleaning service was good and on time as promised. However, they could have done more to clean the interior of cabinets and drawers. Overall, I am still happy with the quality of their work.

Me and my family look forward to Merry Maids visit. We have bi-weekly cleaning service with the same person every cleaning. She remembers all of our special request. She is amazing!
The cleaning is very thorough, in a short amount of time. The office interaction is very professional yet very personable at the same time.

The staff were very thorough and cleaning the spaces of my home that I needed taking care of. I left everything perfectly ready to go. It is such a help to have all of these details taken care of and not have to worry.

The gals were hard workers that checked in whenever they needed clarification, and they did a fantastic job! Our house still smells clean and fresh days later.

I paid to have this service done for my 22-year-old granddaughter who has custody of her half sister's in half brother. She needed help!!! She greatly appreciated your service but said they did not complete her list!!!
I am sure they did a good job and there was a lot to do but it sounds like it would not have taken too much time to clean the coffee table and some other things she wanted clean. And I guess they threw her window screens away!!!..... So that is a little over the top!???? I told her I would buy her new screens.
I want things to be very wonderful for her because I know she is overwhelmed and her and her husband are trying to do a good job for her three siblings and still be workers and give them good meals. It took a lot for me to convince her to use your service and I reassured her that your workers had the utmost integrity and honesty so she would not have to worry.

I have always written a good review for Merry Maids, because the lady who regularly cleans my house does an amazing job. Nicole pays attention to details and my house sparkles when she's finished. This review isn't to warn people away, but rather to advise them to be very careful when scheduling cleanings around holidays. Three years in a row my cleaning appointments at Thanksgiving have been canceled at the last minute. The Auburn, WA office seems to think a week before the day isn't last minute. After speaking to the manager, and asking for some kind of compensation she tells me she's not authorized to offer anything but assurance this won't happen again. Considering this is the third year in a row, and only now am I told in the past 30 years they do not work the day after Thanksgiving, it seems like they would tell people, or better, DON"T SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS THAT DAY. Be aware that their scheduling appears to be automated, and management is not paying attention until it's too late. It would be wise to get a firm confirmation on your appointment. Call early. I wish I had. You'd think they'd be able to offer some kind of compensation, but I guess they don't care if they lose a long time customer. There are a lot of cleaning companies I could have chosen.

The experience was great! The girls did a fantastic job! I will 100% use them again! The price was perfect, especially for the amount of work they put in!

I hired Merry Maids to clean my new home before I moved in and they do a great job cleaning.
I then hired them to clean the rental home after I moved out. Buy was that a back saving and time saving for me.
Working full time and organizing at the new house, I just didn’t have the time or energy to do it all.
I will also use this company for my regular cleaning.

They were great. The girls were absolutely wonderful, came and helped us with a grandfather's house after he was in the hospital and it hadn't been touched in years and they they did the heavy lifting and the hard work and the amazing amazing ladies Emily and Faith absolutely just a great could not have done a better job. Highly recommended and we've actually scheduled them for weekly bi-weekly reoccurrences of just to keep it maintained. But just amazingly good. Phenomenal hard-working people

Hands down the worst experience with quality and customer service i have experienced (besides the receptionist) You trust a professional company to do a professional job and I did NOT recive that. Not only did the job not get completed but it was poorly done. They were quick to want to resolve the issue by coming back but with a "move out clean" that is not possible being out of the home. I've waited a fair amount of time before leaving this review in hopes that I would have my fair request met but that has not happened. Do not use this company for detail work and don't expect your issues to be resolved.

Kristi and Shae were excellent. Couldn't be happier with their outstanding work and professionalism. Will definitely use them and Merry Maids again.

I Used this company for a disabled client of mine that needed cleaning services. A heavy cleaning was needed. The conditions of the home were not ideal. The ladies that came out were professional, hard working and kind. I also liked that they bring all of the supplies they need to get their job done. The price was 150.00 an hour with a 2 hour minimum for a one time clean. This includes 2 maids. They split up and worked in different rooms to complete the job quickly. I would use this company in the future if I have another client with a similar need. I wish I could post before and after photos but that would not be appropriate since this service was for a client. Just know that the before and after was like day and night. I appreciated that they didn’t react negatively or make my client feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about the state of their home. The kindness and professionalism was unmatched compared to other places that I’ve used in the past.

UPDATE:
TODAY I HAD A AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Everything was clean up to my expectations. The floors look great and all counter surfaces we're wiped down not just dusted. I definitely hope that I get these same ladies again.

I requested a move out clean with clear direction that this clean was to prepare our home to be listed for sale. I explicitly said to the scheduler, if the cleaners need more time, please let me know. I have no issue paying for as long as it takes to get the house ready. I called when the cleaners left and asked if the house was clean and the list was complete. I was told it was. I then see the next day that toilets and glass shower doors were not cleaned. How is this not part of a move out clean? I called and told the scheduler that I needed the toilets and showers cleaned right away, I need them to finish the job I paid for. She didn’t seem to care and told me it would take a week to have someone come out. This is unacceptable. I also voiced my concerns to Mark, who is supposedly the owner of this location of Merry Maids and never heard back. I would never recommend Merry Maids, extremely disappointed.

I am very happy with Merry Maids! They do an excellent job cleaning. They are very efficient, always dependable, and their customer service is great if you need to change a date or reschedule. I’ve used Merry Maids for several years and highly recommend them.

Having Merry Maids come in and clean was one of the best decisions I've made. They were very thorough and my house sparkles. The ladies they sent were very nice and did a marvelous job. I would highly recommend this service to anyone.
