Reviews of local pros in Bellevue, Washington

We worked with Alex and team for a bathroom transformation into a laundry/mud room and renovation of an entertainment/gym room. There are a few things about Beaver Build that stood out comparing to other companies that we got consultations from:

1. Alex is extremely responsive and transparent. He always follows up and details each work item. He also stayed on top of everything the whole project, made sure we had enough heads up time for various scheduling and room for making changes to the plan before any work was finalized/conducted. Anywhere we needed adjustments to the original plan, he offered alternatives and made sure the contract was updated accordingly.

2. The team worked really hard to stay on schedule even with the New Year's and MLK holidays, and we're very pleased with the results. Also shout out to Pavlo who is super skilled, efficient and extremely clean with his work site. He pushed really hard to wrap things up at the end without compromising work quality, which was very impressive!

3. Reasonable pricing and transparency: we originally decided to go with Alex because of the reasonable quote, although the plumbing part ended up higher than expected, Alex communicated ahead of time and offered alternative plans. We're happy with the final decision we made.

Overall we're very happy with the result and had a smooth experience working with the team. Highly recommend Beaver Build for any house projects.

They replaced an old garage door with a fancy/elaborate sliding glass door. Alex talked us thru options to help narrow down choices. They came out once to measure and make sure the door we liked had appropriate clearance before making the purchase. Door was installed in a day. Crew was great… hardly knew they were there. No issues during install and they did a really great job cleaning up. Will definitely hire them again.

Alex and his team did an outstanding job remodeling my home. From permit submissions to the final touches, they were consistently professional, responsive, and detail-oriented. Alex, the owner, was always quick to reply whenever I reached out and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to the highest standard and to my full satisfaction.

Alex and his team are amazing, we truly cannot say enough amazing things about BeaverBuild. From start to finish, this was the best contractor experience we’ve ever had.

We remodeled part of our second story to create an extra bedroom and office, and BeaverBuild exceeded every expectation. Their communication was outstanding — they were responsive, organized, and kept us informed every step of the way.

They worked incredibly hard to make our timing happen, often going above and beyond (even working late into the night) to ensure everything stayed on schedule. The project was completed exactly when promised per our contract, and the team was incredibly professional (cleaned up their workspace at the end of every day, navigated our home so graciously given we have two very small kids!)

The quality of the work was absolutely immaculate. This remodel involved everything from demolition and framing new interior walls, drywall patching and texture matching, electrical work for lighting and outlets, flooring installation (carpet and LVP), beautiful millwork like baseboards and crown molding, interior painting, and even exterior work including siding patching and installing a new window.

What impressed us most was how clearly and professionally everything was scoped compared with other contractors we considered. The pricing was extremely fair, transparent, and they came in on budget with no surprises.

They also stand behind their work with a two-year workmanship warranty, which gave us even more confidence in the craftsmanship - Alex was very quick to respond when we had one follow up we needed addressed.

If you are looking for a contractor who is trustworthy, detail-oriented, communicative, and truly delivers high-end results, hire BeaverBuild. We recommend them without hesitation!

The Beaver Build team did an amazing job on our hallway bath remodel! We couldn’t be happier with how smoothly the entire process went and the end result. A couple of things I wanted to call out:

- Alex did a wonderful job coordinating the entire project. We went back and forth for a couple of months before we green lit the remodel, and he was patient throughout, answering our questions and addressing our concerns in a really professional manner. I’m also impressed with how responsive he was from start to finish.

- Sergei and Vlad were a dream team! They were true professionals who worked hard to get our project done in record time. Their work was impeccable and they even helped me make some design decisions which turned out beautifully. Most importantly, they were really nice people and truly respectful of our time and space.

If it isn’t obvious already, I highly recommend Alex and his team and will definitely be working with them again :)

Alex and his team did an excellent job repairing my bathroom wall through an HOA-coordinated project. From start to finish, they were professional, communicative, and very easy to work with. The team was punctual, respectful of the space, and kept everything clean throughout the process.

What I really appreciated was how clearly Alex explained the work and set expectations upfront, which made the whole experience stress-free. The final result turned out great and blended seamlessly with the existing space — you wouldn’t even know repairs had been done.

I would definitely work with Alex again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality work.

[Kitchen and main bathroom] The team did an amazing job under the supervision of Alex. Beaver BLD was Mid-range from the quotes I gathered but delivered Premium execution. Alex is a great communicator (although I had to get used to do all comm incl quotes over text LOL) and coordinator. I was on a tight schedule, and they started on time, finished on time!! The team was great and hard working (besides a small hiccup with the drywall team), material was qualitative and the result looks amazing!!
I would 100% work with them again.

Alex and the team were excellent. I remodeled 2 bathrooms, all doors, and a skylight. They were transparent about cost and time, everything came in on schedule and at budget. Super responsive throughout the process. The quality of work was great as well. They confirmed every detail before doing the work which meant no re-work.

We had an excellent experience working with Alex and the team. Great and timely communication. Our project involved relocating walls, plumbing, electrical and installing new trim, doors and flooring.

The entire team respected our space and carried themselves with a high level of professionalism. We also appreciated the efforts in maintaining a clean jobsite daily.

Overall, we're very pleased with the quality of work and the way they handled the project. We are looking forward to wrapping up painting and decorating the space to make it ours.

Thank you Team!

Had Beaver Build replace rotting wood from our deck. The team did a great job removing the bad wood, cleaned the deck, rebuilt the stairs and added lattice to the base. We are very pleased with the work, communication, and the timeliness of the team. I highly recommend them

We were remodeling our second upstairs bathroom, and hired BLC Remodeling. It was a very good experience, Bogdan and his crew were always on time and did a great job.

Impeccable detail and top notch service. From consultation to finished product, BLC Remodeling is always extremely professional, efficient and transparent. With my personal projects and my client's alike, I'd highly recommend them to all, again and again.

Ben, George, and their team exceeded our expectations in so many ways.  They planned our bathroom remodel collaboratively, giving us ideas and support when we needed it as well as much-appreciated suggestions for saving money on the project.  They began the project earlier than anticipated (!), and they came to our house almost every week day (plus occasional Saturdays).  Every day they maximized the amount of work they could do (often working long hours!).  They completed the project at the estimated amount, and on time.  All changes were discussed clearly with us and in advance of the work.  Best of all, the quality of their craftsmanship was truly excellent:  the electrical work was extremely precise; the tile work was exceptional to the point of being art; and the woodwork, including lots of custom shelving, turned out beautifully.  They even got our 1970's plumbing to cooperate with the new pipes and fixtures!  We couldn't be more thrilled with the results.  It was a privilege to have these wonderful guys working in our house, and we definitely plan to ask them back to remodel the kitchen.

Having lived in our home for 20+ years with several poor remodeling experiences under out belt, we were very hesitant to move forward with a much-needed master bathroom remodel. We originally found BLC Remodeling on Angie’s List with numerous glowing reviews. Other sites echoed these reviews, so we decided to engage with George to determine if we found a good fit for our project. Our initial meeting went very well, and his flexibility and creativity were just what we required to bring our vision to life. George offered to coordinate a site visit with a current project, which we accepted and were very impressed by the work being done at the site as well as the feedback of the homeowner. The quote provided was very clear, well documented, and very competitive with others received.

The project began as committed and managed in a very professional manner. George and his team were very respectful of our home, worked hard to minimize disruptions to our life, and cleaned up after themselves daily. George was very communicative throughout the project, keeping us informed of materials required, hurdles encountered, and the impact of changes to the project on our quote. As would be expected issues were encountered, there were starts and stops, but they were all handled professionally. Flexibility was a key requirement of our project, and George and his team delivered on that requirement.

The project was completed as committed and there were no hidden surprises or billings. There were a few lagging items that required attention, and George and his team gladly worked with us to address these items. All in all, we were very pleased with the work done by BLC Remodeling, would definitely use them for future projects, and highly recommend them for others looking to have work done. Thanks George, Bogdan (Ben), Zoli, TD, and John for a job well done.

We had a great experience working with John and Ben on our bathroom remodeling! They were very accommodating, listened to our concerns and got the work done on time. The quality of the work done was great! They are responsive and quick to return calls/messages. They work with you to figure out how to resolve any issues that come up throughout the project and we really appreciated them helping walk us through some critical decisions.

We found a small issue after the renovation was complete and they promptly came to look into it and fix it!

BLC Remodeling did an outstanding job remodeling our master bathroom and updating other two bathrooms. Ben, the co-owner, responded promptly with our request for a bid with a detailed and competitive quote. Ben is very thorough and knowledgeable- he gave great suggestions and came up with creative solutions to accommodate all our requests. His meticulous preparation and attention to detail are obvious in final work. Ben and his team went out of their way to minimize disruptions for our family and the project was completed right on schedule. They exceeded our expectations in every single way! We highly recommend them to anyone who is planning to remodel their home.

We highly recommend BLC Remodeling. Bogdan, George and crew were punctual, thorough, dependable and honest. They were easy to work with, attentive to detail, and careful to involve us in appropriate decisions. The scope of our project was to remodel the lower area of our house, including a rec room, laundry, and bathroom. Before this work began, we had a roof leak which caused extensive damage to another part of our house, and they were able to coordinate both projects and minimize the time we had to be out of our house (lots of hardwood to be replaced and refinished). They were responsive to our concerns, and really wanted us to be happy with the result. Their costs were very reasonable for the greater Seattle area. We are delighted with the final product.

Bogdan did amazing job on redesign and remodeling my kitchen. Recieved lots of compliments. He and his team very reliable, professional, and knowledgable. Definitely would use BLC for any of my remodeling projects that I would have in future and would recommend them for everyone.

I can unequivocally recommend BLC Remodeling! Our expectations were exceeded across the board. After meeting with Ben and discussing our options, we were presented with a very reasonable cost proposal as well as clever suggestions on how we could save money and source well priced materials. We got bids from 3 other contractors but we sensed red flags with those guys so choosing BLC was easy.
Importantly when the job was completed on time and on schedule, there were no surprises and no inflated costs for the changes that were decided on. In fact the costs were lower than I even would have expected. When it comes to a bath remodel, these guys are talented, creative and meticulous. I liked that they do the greater majority of the work themselves and not to many subs are in the picture. The guys (Ben, Bob and George) showed up at 8:30 sharp every day and hustled all day. Every interaction was pleasant and cheerful! When issues came up as they always do, whether it was a minor decision to be made or a super important decision, it was always brought to our attention up front so that we would make the right choices. The guys are energetic not lazy so there was no such thing as cutting corners.
Ben and George do beautiful work and customer satisfaction is a must. We are so very happy and thankful! We will surely contact BLC Remodeling in the near future for our next project.

Bogdan and his crew are the BEST!! Skilled craftsmen, trusted, professional and knowledgeable. I had two bathrooms renovated at a condo unit. One had to be completely gutted due to an old leak - so they remediated the water damage, reframed where needed and transitioned the bathroom from a tub/shower combo to a walk-in shower. Their workmanship, expertise and attention to detail is fantastic. I greatly appreciated all the communication and photos during the demolition phase so we could confer immediately on decisions based on what was uncovered because of the water damage and then the crew could continue with their progress. They were willing to work within my budget on both bathrooms and offered solutions and different options that worked to accomplish the overall remodeling goals. And a huge bonus, when I sought guidance on some side projects outside of the bathroom remodels (construction projects in the kitchen and living room), they accommodated without hesitation to add to their schedule while they were on-site. I highly recommend Bogdan and his crew. In fact, I'm looking for additional projects so I get the opportunity to work with them again.

Working with BLC Remodeling was truly a pleasure! They updated my kitchen and powder room in November and everything is perfect. They provided guidance, advice and long hours of hard work to create a functional, sensible and beautiful kitchen. BLC Remodeling is a very professional company with kind, caring and detail oriented people.

It was a pleasure to have them in my home.

Thanks guys!!
