When my circuit breaker kept tripping, I contacted several electric companies and Mauro electric was one of the first to contact me and has been extremely responsive to all my request since. Edwin did a great job checking for what the problem was and explaining to me what the subsequent action plan would be. Highly recommend!

Super easy and quick experience working with Mauro Electric. My dryer recently stopped working, and I suspected it was an electrical issue with the outlet or breaker box. After doing a little bit of research I decided to reach out to Mauro based on their reviews; got them scheduled a couple days out and Orlando and one of his colleagues just finished the job in about an hour. They fixed the issue (replaced the circuit breaker), and my dryer is working now. The price was reasonable and both of the guys were friendly and professional. Will definitely be using them again for any future electrical work!

Ricky was very professional and systematically went through to see what was causing one of the circuit breakers to not work. I also appreciated how I was able to call (and they picked up!) and get scheduled same day for the diagnostic evaluation, which was all it took to fix our problem.

Crew arrived promptly at 8 AM and spent about 5 hours removing our old Generac generator and installing our new one. Very professional and unobtrusive. I'd recommend Mauro Electric to anyone wanting a new generator.

Excellent experience with Mauro!

Tyler and another guy (whose name I've forgotten, sorry!) were here for about 5 hours, in which time they moved and re-installed a chandelier, assembled and installed 3 ceiling fans, and did a tricky wiring job to hook up our new video doorbell. Tyler also dug around in our very warm and dusty attic to help us take out an old defunct security system.

All of that work came in at almost exactly $2k, which is less than any of the other quotes we got. (Other quotes ranged from $2.4k to just over $3k.) Also Mauro's quote was a bit more clear detailed that I usually see from contractors, which I really appreciate. May seem like a small thing, but it makes a difference!

Booking and quoting was a smooth easy process, Ricky responded quickly to emails and answered about a hundred questions for me. Also great communication via text to confirm the booking and then day-of to let me know when the crew was on their way. The guys were super friendly and professional, left everything clean, and were very sweet with our dog.

Highly recommend.

I had these guys come and help me light my business sign which was kind of a mess due to the rental unit having been remodeled so many times. Ricky followed up with the job to get it scheduled, stayed in touch about when the work could get done and figured things out in no time. He even cleaned up a bit afterwards. Great service. We shockingly discovered that we had 60V on the outside of our dishwasher. A friend recommended Mauro Electric since he had removed their knob & tube so I reached out for a quote. They responded quickly to my request.

Ricky diagnosed it and fixed the grounding problem. He also fixed some of the shoddy work the previous owner DIYed. I appreciate that he explained everything and trusted what I had already figured out.

I plan on hiring him again for future electrical work.

I have used Mauro electric for years. Had a great experience with Mauro Electric! Ricky gave me the initial bid and Edwin led the install—both super professional and easy to work with. They added two new circuits with four outlets in my garage and three exterior outlets. Everything was done quickly, the quality was solid, and the customer service was awesome. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

We hired Mauro Electric for multiple jobs for our home that included 1) Electric panel upgrade 2) Install two ceiling fans replacing light fixture 3) Upgrade old bathroom bent fan to bluetooth fan 4) Install EV 50A charger in Garage 5) Add socket for a dedicated Smart Toilet 6) Add socket for Smart Water leak detector.

I had invited multiple bids for the project and Mauro Electric's assessment of my project was at a great price and came with highly detailed explanation with their estimate.

What I loved about Mauro Electric is their insight on meeting the city code and especially understanding the risk of not doing it right. Following was the eye-opener from Mauro's wisdom books.

For example, most homes do not have light fixtures in the bedrooms capable of installing a ceiling fan. I thought I could do this job myself watching some youtube videos. Trust me, not worth the risk and the pain. It took 2 members of their team good 2.5-3 hours to install ceiling fans in 2 bedrooms that required them to install mount brackets by making several adjustments from attic.

As for Bidet (Smart Toilet), I had another revelation that I wasn't aware of. It requires 20A dedicated circuit breaker wiring to meet the code. I was planning to just jump extra connection from existing outlet. Could have backfired as smart toilets use significant energy for seat/water heating. You don't want the circuit to trip while using it.

I was well advised for my EV car charger as well. The differences of level 1,2 chargers, hard wiring etc. and how market is moving forward in the future. Great insight.

The service team under Ricky M. and Daniel Dominguez have delivered nothing less than fantastic output for all of the jobs they executed. The cherry on the top was their guarantee on the all of the work they delivered for my home that lasts at least a year and even beyond if they don't meet their highest quality promise.

I must add that I am DIY enthusiastic but for the jobs mentioned for this review must have a licensed electrician like Mauro Electric to do it right and do it well. Highly recommend them.

Truly, we are beyond delighted with the service and care we received from Mauro Electric. Ricky Mauro came to assess our under-kitchen-cabinet lighting electrical problem, and he was so kind, focused, and immediately discerning of the problem and perceptive about the solution. Then he sent Orlando and a colleague to come make the repair, and they, too, were kindly communicative, thoughtful, and amazingly effective at getting our kitchen lighting better than it was before. Of course, the price for this work was right, too, but the main point is Mauro Electric leads with its humanity, and that makes such a difference when compared with the other options.
