General Contractor reviews in Bothell, Washington

It was a pleasure working with IDA design & build. They are honest, reliable, and punctual. The work was done well and promptly. Dmytry and Slava were easy to work with and attentive to all our needs and concerns. We are happy with the result of our kitchen remodel. We would definitely recommend IDA design & build to our friends.

We had a full kitchen renovation and replacement of a bathroom vanity cabinet + sink. I sought 4 estimates from separate contractors. Dmytry was prompt in his response to my initial contact, scheduled a visit, and arrived as scheduled. He provided a reasonable and realistic estimate and was the clear choice among the 4 contractors I sought bids from. Work proceeded as scheduled and the whole projected was completed in about 12 consecutive business days. He was professional, prompt in his response to my communication, clear in his communication, and we are very pleased with the quality of the work and the finished kitchen/bath. Dmytry personally met me and my wife at a couple of stores to select cabinetry and countertop and discuss options in-person outside of his usual working schedule. Highly recommend and I would seek his help again were I to have future projects.

IDA Designs & Builds went above and beyond on our home project and did an amazing job! There was clear communication throughout and they were very patient in explaining to me what they were going to do. They were extremely detailed in their work and it looks impeccable!!

I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail in IDA Design & Contractor. They are a highly recommended company for any remodeling project. Dmytry and his team dedication to excellence is evident in every aspect of their work.

We hired IDA Design and Build for a full house remodel, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made for our home. From day one, the team took time to understand what we wanted — even the little things that mattered to us — and turned it all into a design that felt both fresh and true to the character of the house.

During the remodel, there were definitely some surprises (our old wiring wasn’t up to code and we found some hidden water damage). But instead of making it stressful, the team handled everything with professionalism and kept us in the loop, explaining the options clearly so we could make informed choices. We never felt rushed or pressured.

What really impressed us was how patient and detail-oriented everyone was. Even when we asked for last-minute changes — like moving a doorway or swapping out tile — they listened and made it happen. The craftsmanship is excellent, and now the house feels brand new yet still feels like “us.”

We’re so glad we trusted IDA Design and Build with this project and won’t hesitate to call them again for our next renovation. Highly recommend!

Great contractor. Everything was well planned and scheduled. All our comments and wishes were heard and the changes implemented. The work was done in time and with a high quality

We have successfully completed several projects with IDA Design: windows replacement, bedrooms update and full house remodel! I cannot thank them enough for the high quality of their work, ability to handle late deliveries or last minutes changes, impeccable attention to details and customer vision. IDA Design passes savings to their clients by sharing suppliers, cut project timelines, plan every step and help with design. I cannot applaud them enough!

Very reliable, quality work! Even took the time to show me his technique to installing doors. Timely, professional and works efficiently. Would definitely work with this company again for all my mill work, door and trim install!

We hired IDA Design and Build for a home addition project, and we’re very happy with the results. Dmytry, project manager, guided us from the initial design concept through every construction phase. He carefully addressed all our layout changes and was always quick to respond to questions. The team managed permit issues, structural adjustments, and unexpected site challenges with professionalism. We truly felt supported throughout the entire process and will absolutely hire them again for future projects.

We hired IDA Design & Build for a complete home renovation, including the kitchen and bathroom, painting, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and tile work. Dmitry was professional and easy to work with. He kept the project on track and was always available to answer questions or discuss details. Even when issues arose, as they often do in construction projects, Dmitry was responsive and collaborative.

Everything was completed as planned and met my expectations. I love the way my home turned out! Slava listened to everything I wanted and her design choices were exactly in line with my vision for my home. Dmitry and his team were reliable, and the quality of their work shows. I’d recommend them to anyone considering a home renovation.

Dmitry worked with our our designer to help us execute our dream remodel! Unlike another contractor that we were talking to in the beginning, he actually did not hesitate to give us good advices which my wife and I really appreciated given that we have never done remodeling before.

Dmytry and his crew did a wonderful job remodeling our small bathroom. They showed up every day on time and did excellent work. Each week Dmytry gave us a time-line of what would be done each week and when. He had everything in place before the work started so there was no delay in the process. His communication was excellent and he tried to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. If there was a problem, he was quick to get the fix in place. I would happily use Dmytry and his crew for any further projects.

Dmytry, owner of IDA design & build, is by far the best general contractor my husband and I have encountered. He is very dependable, courteous and knowledgeable. He always responds to our texts and phone calls. He makes sure that everything is done in good quality and in a timely manner. I highly recommend him and IDA design & build.

They came in for a job to replace a warped beam on my balcony. Paul L. was very responsive the whole time with me. Kept me up to date on the status of the job and the job was done on time just like they said. The workmanship was great. After they were done, the site was clean and everything was great. Highly recommend anyone to give Paul L. a call. He will take good care of you.

After calling a million and one companies & getting no luck, I stumbled across Home Care and got an answer from Paul Y at 1st attempt. He was extremely friendly & seemed like he really wanted to help . The difference between him & the others I spoke with was he was able to come out that SAME day to take a look at what needed to be done & provide a quote. After that, he was able to get someone out just 2 days later to start the work. He sent out a guy named Matt who was just as cool as could be so the overall experience was amazing. I told them what color I wanted for my flooring & I'm 100% satisfied that they were able to bring my vision to life . The communication between all parties was also a good experience. I felt involved with getting my bathroom to look how I wanted. Would I recommend HOME CARE, YES. Would I use them again, YES!!

Had the privilege of working with Paul Yakovlev and his team. They did a highly skilled and thorough job on our recent whole home remodel. Paul kept us informed/updated on the progress via phone calls texts photos and emails during the entire process. He offered great suggestions and improvements on our vision. At completion of the job it was move in ready they even hired a cleaning crew to make sure the house was spotless. We would definitely use Paul and HCC again... and plan to do so soon on our future outdoor space.

I had a small space that I wanted to add a bathroom and kitchenette in. The quote wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive. But the reason I picked them was because I was impressed with the professionalism right from the get go. My main contact, Erik Brutski was AMAZING! He answered all my questions or requests I had through the project in a very timely manor and got the subs scheduled so quickly I was blown away. They worked within my budget perfectly as well. Every sub arrived right on time, and the one time one was going to run late, Erik let me know right away. All the subs did a great job on dealing with the tiny space and all the plumbing and electrical that needed to get squeezed in there, and the puzzle of a drywall installation. Finding a contractor can be a very scary experience and I'm so happy I went with Home Care Contractors. I highly recommend Erik, and will use them for any future jobs.

We needed to have an old garage demolished and Home Care Contractors, specifically Erik Brutsky, did an amazing job with the project. Erik was very communicative during all stages of the project and provided excellent customer service. The contractors were highly skilled, timely, and respectful of the property. The project was completed in just two days and we were very satisfied with how it turned out. We will definitely be using Home Care Contractors again and look forward to having Erik manage our projects moving forward.

HCC was a great company to work with. We needed to close off a bedroom and everyone on the team was kind, helpful, and easy to work with in planning where the wall and door should go and communicating throughout the whole project. Amazing, thoughtful work and would work with them again for our next home project.

Finding great builders that are consistent throughout the process for my clients is not easy. As a designer, working with Home Care Contractors makes my job easier because their attention to detail, communication and overall process is so smooth. When referring contractors to my clients I have to trust that they hold the same or similar values as my company. HCC is trustworthy and I highly recommend them if you're wanting people on your team to care for your home throughout the remodel process as if it were their own.

Working with HCC, with Ilya and David, was beyond our expectations. We choose them blindly from online reviews and were so impressed with the quality of work, timeliness of the many projects, the ability to recommend excellent sourcing of windows, cabinetry, flooring etc, and especially how hard Ilya works. He was tireless, thorough and most importantly, extremely well-knowledged in every aspect of our complete home remodel. Having someone we could trust on every aspect of our remodel brought peace of mind. David was great on the back end as well helping coordinate the numerous projects and was an attentive communicator. HCC deserves the praise for turning our 20 year old rental to a beautifully remodeled home. We will definitely use HCC for our next project!
