General Contractor reviews in Bothell, Washington

We worked with Paul L for a master bathroom remodel. We really appreciated his teams’ efficiency in working and diligence in doing a good job. Paul was extremely communicative throughout the process and always put our happiness as the top priority. We’re definitely glad we hired them for the bathroom, and love the final result!

Our kitchen was in need of an update/facelift and I reached out to HCC for a quote. Paul Y was super responsive and quick to schedule a time to see the space, listened to our design ideas and worked up a reasonable quote. This being our first remodeling experience, Paul did an excellent job explaining what to expect and was communicative through out the entire project. His goal was to deliver a kitchen we loved, and he did just that! Roman was delightful to work with and seamlessly pivoted when we made slight changes to our design. The project was well scheduled and finished on time. We’ll certainly be reaching out to HCC for our future remodeling needs.

We are extremely pleased with our kitchen remodel, managed by Ben from Homecare Contractors. After we gave Ben our design ideas, he provided 3D renderings that showed that we were on the same page. His quote was right in the middle of the others we received, but the quality of work seemed more in line with the top end quotes. He worked closely with us throughout to ensure that all of our visions came to life, while providing a ton of perspective and expertise along the way. Ben’s team of Yuri, Vlad, and a few others were kind and professional. They listened to all of our thoughts and concerns, and made tweaks as desired. In all, the remodel took 7 weeks, and it turned out beautifully. Especially given supply chain issues and soaring prices, the fact that Ben completed the project in a reasonable timeframe and within budget was honestly quite impressive. We were expecting a new baby shortly after completion, so we appreciate Ben and his team being cognizant of our needs and doing an excellent job. Thank you!

I was referred to HomeCare Contractors by a coworker of mine who had hired them to renovate her bathrooms a few years ago. I unfortunately came back from a vacation to a cracked shower pan in November of 2021, and due to the way the shower was made, it would be a whole replacement instead of just a small repair to ensure it wouldnt leak in the walls and subflooring of my house. Dennis worked with me and walked me through everything I needed to do. I was able to pick out a beautiful tile and get my master bathroom fixed in no time. Other contractors had quoted me 15-25k$ and the work wouldn't start until May or June 2022, but Dennis made my project work for the budget scope that I had, and it was completed in Jan 2022 in about a week! I could not be happier with how it all turned out! We were able to open up the bathroom by removing an unnecessary wall, and the shower looks beautiful, bright and open. I've never been so excited to take a shower before in my life! 100% I would recommend these guys for a home project in the future. They were quick, efficient, and professional. And the quality of work is beyond exquisite. Thank you so much!!!

We had a great experience renovating two bathrooms with HCC! Work was quality and the team worked with us to develop a plan that fit our budget and needs. Recommend to anyone considering a bathroom remodel!

We chose this company because they had excellent reviews across the board. We are extremely glad that the reviews reflect exactly the work they did.

Vitaliy Gorokhovskiy was our account manager for this project. Right from the first request for a quote, he was very helpful, responsive and delivered everything on time. We asked for 3 quotes with varied flooring model to deliver to our insurance, no problem it was right there. We asked to negotiate based on the amount we got from insurance, he found a way to make it happen. He is thoughtful, responsive, on time for every appointment, no fuss, gets the job done on time. The repair was ready to go the same day we picked the flooring. The project was done on time as promised. The quality of the work is determined when you see it after it is done and you don't easily notice any visible issues. All the furniture, stove, fridge were put back to where they were before, so cleanup was also superb.

We highly recommend Vitaliy Gorokhovskiy for any home project that you are about to do. Talk to him, give him a chance and you will see excellent results. We will be doing so for all our future projects.

Home Care Contractors was fantastic to work with on my bathroom remodel! They worked with me to stay within my budget, allowing me to do some of the work to save cost. All members of their team were pleasant, professional, and worked very efficiently, minimizing the disruption in my home. And the quality of work by this team was very impressive - I love my new bathroom!
I plan to work with them again in the near future for my kitchen remodel, and I highly recommend this company to others that are looking for a contractor.

We truly had a wonderful experience remodeling our kitchen with Homecare! Renovations are hard to live through and there are so many decisions to make but with Homecare we were able to take it step by step and have our vision come to life. From the initial consult, to design decisions, to construction and to the final product we felt as though we were being well taken care of and listened to. We love our new kitchen and would definitely recommend and use Homecare again for future projects!

I worked with Paul Yakovlev for my bathroom remodel. It turns out great thanks to his coordinate and help. He is still quick responsive after I have signed the contract（don't take granted for that if you have dealt with other contractors）. When we have conflict in the middle of my project, Paul helped me solve the problem in a fair way. I am impressed by his kind and professional and I will definitely get back to him again if I need to do other projects in the future.

I used Vitaliy and his team to do my master bathroom remodel. We had a small flood issue and decided to redo most of the bathroom, including all the tile (3 different kinds), both sinks, the toilet and the tub fixture. Vitaliy was very responsive throughout the process, always promptly answering our endless questions through text, email and over the phone. Once the work started it was done in roughly the promised amount of time, totaling 4 full days plus an extra couple hours near the end for the plumbing and some finishing touches. A couple minor issues came up in the middle of the job, but they were always explained to us and handled quickly. Overall, I'm very happy with both the experience and the end result, you can see the finished job in the first two pictures below, the one with the missing tile around the tub is the "before" picture. I would definitely hire them again for similar work in the future!

We had a wonderful experience working with Home Care Contractors on our master bathroom remodel. We had the pleasure of working with Sergey, who managed the project and ensured each step and detail met our expectations. The guys who put in the labor were pleasant and kept the area tidy throughout the project. We also enjoyed working with Mila, who helped with the design and materials selection, and put together a rendering of the bathroom before the project even started which made us more confident and excited about the project. We are extremely happy with the final result and would recommend HCC to friends and family!

We used Home Care Contractors, working specifically with Vadim and David, to remodel a very outdated bathroom as well as new floors and stairs in our home. The crew was great, everyone very respectful with regards to COVID and wearing masks. From start to finish we are very pleased with our experience with Home Care Contractors!David was clear with the proposal and upfront when we wanted to know cost before committing to additional options, such as moving a wall 1 foot, replacing an unknown busted pipe, etc. The work was done efficiently and expertly; David and his crew were knowledgeable of all things remodeling and provided valuable opinions and suggestions when asked. The bathroom was taken down to the studs and rebuilt, and we are extremely pleased with the final product! The floors were done in a timely manner, and we especially appreciated having our stairs done on a Saturday (which they offered, we didn't even ask!) when there was much less foot traffic in our home. We look forward to working with them again and highly recommend Home Care Contractors.

The HCC team re-tiled our shower walls, added a niche, and installed new fixtures for our bathroom. We were very lucky to work with Vitaliy and his team, Joe and Vlad. Mold was discovered during demo, and they were able to fix it quickly with minimal additional work. The installed niche is exactly what we wanted and we're so happy to have the addition. There was a version of this review where we gave this project 3/5 stars. We had a couple of snafus, but the HCC team worked diligently to correct issues that we brought up. We want to give a special shout out to our PM Vitaliy, who listened to our concerns and always made the time for in-person visits. The team was very responsive and prioritized our concerns. We felt heard and the end result is beautiful.

We had the pleasure of working with HCC this spring/summer. Vadim was our contractor, Sergey was our Project Manager, and Vova did most of the project labor. HCC remodeled our master bathroom, downstairs powder room, as well as replaced some hallway closet doors. The team was great to work with and we love our new bathrooms! We highly recommend Vadim and his team to anyone looking to remodel.

We had a fantastic experience working on our basement remodel with Andrey, Aleksey, Nick, Roman, Danny, Vlad, and the whole team at Home Care Contractors! This was a major project, involving a total demolition and rebuild of the lower level of our home (~1,000 sqft) to add two bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry room, a hallway, and a storage room. Andrey led us through the whole process, working closely with us and helping inform us on all the decisions we had to make and to stay within our budget while fulfilling our vision. We were amazed by how effectively the whole team worked together, doing high-quality work at an efficient pace. They were easy to talk to and always happy to answer any questions, even modifying some of our plan on the fly as opportunities presented themselves. There were some legitimate challenges--like moving our stairs to create more headroom and leveling a very non-level basement floor--but the team came up with great, cost-effective solutions. We're so happy with the remodel and would recommend Andrey and Home Care Contractors to anyone! Thank you HCC for all your hard work.

Our master bathroom is finished and we love it! Home Care Contractors did a beautiful job. Everything was so professional and seamless. They listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond. They were easy to work with. They were here at our house when they said they would be here. They always kept us informed of what was happening next. Sergy Nikitenko was our project manager and was great to work with and took good care of us. Our cabinets were built by European Custom Cabinets and are beautiful! We are so happy we had HCC do our remodel. We will use them again, for sure!!

We had a major remodel done on an uninhabitable, fairly water damaged house. We had one balcony removed and another redone, the entire back deck replaced, the kitchen opened, the garage finished into bedrooms, a french drain dug, HVAC installed, stair railings brought up to code, ceilings redone (popcorn!), all new floors, lighting, and paint, outdoor outlets installed, a hose spigot transferred from inside to outside (because why??), a totally not waterproof bathroom waterproofed... I probably can't even hope to remember all that was done - it was a big job. And it's amazing! They do excellent, solid work. I love this house =)

There were some security issues with subcontractors, not to be confused with HCC as a company. They often let themselves in completely unannounced well outside of regular work hours, and they let my dogs out so many times that my neighbor called animal control and basically hates me now. My cat was let out and I never saw him again.

Andrey and Alexy were the two main guys, though, and were awesome. Professional, respectful, made good conversation, nice to my kids and dog. I liked them very much, and I know subcontractors are kind of a separate deal from a main contracting company. We put them through a lot, as we had a pipe burst at our old residence and needed the work expedited. I really appreciated that. When the whole debacle screwed up our moving situation, some of the guys actually put our furniture in place, which was a lifesaver and so considerate. Alexy tends to come over very promptly if there's an important issue (such as when water from the upstairs bathtub was leaking heavily into the newly built downstairs bedroom, which turned out to have nothing to do with any work HCC had done). I was always surprised by just how quickly he would come over, when I was just thinking "Maybe he'll have time on Monday". Nope, same day. Very reassuring. Paul also did permanent Christmas lights for me on the side (love them). These guys are really awesome.

If I could do it again, I would be more assertive about the subcontractors, but overall this was an incredible remodel and I've never been happier with a house. Wish I had before and after photos, it would blow your mind (there was a bathroom with CARPET...).

Thanks guys!

We had our kitchen and bathrooms remodeled by Home Care Contractors and new doors added all over. The work was great since our house is old and the new rooms look nice! We would recommend Home Care Contractors to folks that want remodeling.

After doing a complete home remodel with HCC I cannot recommend them highly enough. From scoping the project, lead up, execution, and follow through, Sergey worked tirelessly to ensure that everything went smoothly and that we were completely satisfied with the results. They not only managed to complete the entire project with an aggressive timeline, but every single detail of the work was beautifully done. Any surprises that came along the way were handled and resolved without any additional stress for us.

Outside of the work itself, the management of the project was fantastic. Regular updates any time of day, pictures of the daily work uploaded to a portal, and a timeline that we could see to visualize when everything would be done.

All of this to say that I was blown away by the quality and ability of HCC to take such a large scale project and deliver on every front. If I ever had a need for another home project in the future they would be my first call.

We used Home Care Contractors in 2023 for our kitchen and hall bathroom remodel. Throughout the project, Vadim and team were professional, communicative, and efficient. Since this isn’t our “forever home” it was important to stay on budget. The team directed us toward economical, but quality, materials and design elements that aligned with our vision for the space and ensured we stuck to the agreed upon quote. We already had a solid design plan, so didn’t use their design services other than taking professional measurements and securing renderings. The project took just over 8 weeks, which was expected. The HCC team made it possible for our family to remain in the home for the duration of the project by keeping a tidy work environment and respecting our schedule. We also appreciated their promptness when challenges arose during the project, they always came to us with multiple solutions. HCC truly stand behind their work too - if something pops up, even months later, they will make it right. Very pleased with the results and will be using them again for future projects!

We had our kitchen refurbished and a new fireplace. The kitchen remodel was comprehensive, which included enlarging a window and moving another wall. The workmanship was top-notched and the technicians were competent, curteous and fun to work with. They worked with us on a design that met our needs and improved the layout in our kitchen.
