The specialist was on site today to diagnosis an issue with the central head unit. Yet, after diagnosis the verdict was to get a new washer or buy a $500+labor. I choose to pay the bill and sleep on it, I was bummed yet that is not the reason for the low rating... when clearing the water using the spin cycle the machine was not working because I found that the lid trigger lock unit was broken, i suspect the specialist broke it during diagnosis. Tutorials indicate how to take the head unit off and the not that easy way of doing it might have caused the break. Simple mistake. So that is half the reason, I fixed the lid trigger lock using super glue and gorilla tape. Got the water to clear with the spin cycle and found that if I only selected the 9 or 12 agitation level and not the 15 or 18 the washer works just fine. So it is a head control unit issue, which is no the $500 part i was shown needed to fix the washer... the other part of the low rating. This was an unfortunate misdiagnosis and that is the reason for the low rating coupled with my layperson ability to fix the washer.

They came over to repair my dishwasher. After looking into it they couldn’t figure out anything they could fix and said it was a plumbing issue. Then they overcharged me $174 just for coming to look at it, when they gave me an estimate of only $89. I could understand being charged $89 for the visit, but why another 80 bucks for nothing?! Then he asked for a tip on top of that. His communication skills were very poor as well.

I would give them 0 stars. Our fridge was leaking water and not cooling the technician came, fixed the leaking and did not check the cooling issue. When he stepped out I called him back and told I don’t feel any cooling. He said it will take 5-6 hours because fridge has been reset. He charged us $310. The fridge still didn’t cool so I asked them to send the technician again. The technician who couldn’t speak any english told us now it is compressor issue and better to get a new fridge. He said the issue wasn’t there yesterday. He just left even without giving us time to talk to the company people. I have asked them to refund the money and deduct the visit charges. Haven’t heard back from them yet. I hope they will get back to me.

We called Mikhail when our oven stopped working. He came to our house within a few hours, examined the oven, found the part that burned down, replaced it within minutes, and our oven came back to life. He saved us from having to buy a new stove, and it ended up costing us a fraction of the cost.

I recently hired Mikhail for appliance repair and was thoroughly impressed. The technician was courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. I appreciated his patience in explaining the details of the repair process and his transparency regarding my opinion. He looked out for my interests and fixed the issue quickly. Guy came to fix my freezer that wasn't freezing and was leaking from all the thawing, and to fix my oven. Without taking anything apart to see, he looked at it and said it was a clogged drain line and that is why it wasn't freezing. I let him work on it and when he was finished, he charged me $302. I checked it 24 hours later and my freezer was 80 degrees. So, I canceled the check because he didn't do the job. I'm not paying 300 for nothing! Seemed like a scam. There was no diagnostics done. I was right there watching him Google how to fix the problem with the oven. That's not diagnostics! With the freezer all he did was open the door and tell me immediately after, that the drain line was the problem. Which it clearly wasn't! He was difficult to understand because he could barely speak English! He didn't have a company card or could even tell me the number of the service he was from! He then began asking for $200+ more money (up front) for a part, to come back later to work on the oven. So then adding ANOTHER service charge! That's when I stopped him and had him go. He didn't even come in a company truck, or even have a company uniform or anything! He had sandals on and just a small bag of random tools. That's why it seemed like a scam!

Amazing service! My washing machine stopped working, and I was in a panic. I called them, and they scheduled an appointment for the very next day. The technician was knowledgeable and courteous, explaining everything he was doing. The repair was done efficiently, and the pricing was very reasonable. I’m so relieved and grateful for their quick and effective service!

The tech was a bit later than the original arrival window, but this was due to a busy day with other complicated projects before mine. The head office DID communicate to me to let me know, and the tech arrived earlier than the second predicted arrival. The tech himself was very nice, competent, and helpful. I WOULD hire this company again for future projects.

I loved how quick and efficient the technician Michael did the job! My washer broke, I called Appliance Repair MM and they came out the next day. The price for the consultation was reasonable because he took the washer out, inspected it, and gave me the diagnosis. He ordered the part and came in 4 days, as soon as the part came in. He then fixed it and the price was reasonable too! I highly recommend!

Following the service requested for appliance repair, the persistent issue remains unresolved. Despite my repeated communications (emails, voicemail messages, and text messages) informing the company of the problem, there has been no response. The company’s communication solely occurs via text messaging, which involves an intermediary whose English proficiency is questionable. They assert a one-month warranty on repairs, yet they fail to engage with customers when issues are brought to their attention, effectively expiring the warranty.

The issue: A dishwasher diagnosis and repair were required due to standing water in the bottom filter area. A repair technician, Mikhael, arrived to diagnose the problem. He advised that the water supply hose/fill hose needed to be cleaned due to clogging as this was the cause of standing water on the bottom of my dishwasher. While cleaning the hose, he inadvertently broke the adapter. It is important to note that all communication during the service with Mikhael was conducted primarily through his phone, where he translated his Russian to English. Despite his pleasant demeanor, poor communication rendered the entire process confusing and frustrating. He provided an initial price estimate. After breaking the adapter, he informed me that he would need to order the part, which would incur additional costs and take approximately four to five days to arrive. Consequently, I was unable to use the dishwasher during this time. Upon the part’s arrival, Mikhael returned to complete the repair. However, he subsequently charged a different price, which deviated from the initial agreement. He had previously assured me that no further charges would be incurred upon his return. The frustration of attempting to communicate through the language translator on his phone led me to pay him the additional charges. He added to the original agreed-upon price on multiple occasions. I should not have been responsible for the cost of a part that he broke, which delayed the repair.

Regrettably, after a mere two weeks or so, I encountered the same issue of black debris accumulation on the dishwasher’s base. Upon removing the filter, I discovered approximately 2-3 inches of standing water.

I am concerned that Mikhael lacked the necessary training and background to effectively repair my appliance. Furthermore, the company’s lack of concern for its customer's satisfaction and their own brand reputation is deeply troubling. Consequently, I incurred a financial loss, amounting to over $300, and wasted a considerable amount of my time by engaging with this company.

I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. Based on numerous reviews about this company, I am seeing the exact same issues being addressed such as requesting more money than was agreed upon, not fixing the issue they were hired to repair, and offering a warranty on repairs that they have no intention on honoring thus leaving the customer in a bind after being paid.

I would not be surprised to see them face potential license revocation. As a customer, I can only describe the experience as a scam.

Update: Appliance Repair MM LLC failed to diagnose the issue accurately, leaving standing water in my dishwasher after the repair. The courteous technician inadvertently damaged the shut-off valve, which he apologized for but still charged me for. Despite multiple attempts to reach Appliance Repair MM LLC via phone, voicemail, text, and email, they consistently failed to follow up until they noticed the negative review. Their response posted here fails to acknowledge any responsibility, asserting that the customer was at fault, which is not the case. Prospective customers should beware.

They came in for a job to replace a warped beam on my balcony. Paul L. was very responsive the whole time with me. Kept me up to date on the status of the job and the job was done on time just like they said. The workmanship was great. After they were done, the site was clean and everything was great. Highly recommend anyone to give Paul L. a call. He will take good care of you.

After calling a million and one companies & getting no luck, I stumbled across Home Care and got an answer from Paul Y at 1st attempt. He was extremely friendly & seemed like he really wanted to help . The difference between him & the others I spoke with was he was able to come out that SAME day to take a look at what needed to be done & provide a quote. After that, he was able to get someone out just 2 days later to start the work. He sent out a guy named Matt who was just as cool as could be so the overall experience was amazing. I told them what color I wanted for my flooring & I'm 100% satisfied that they were able to bring my vision to life . The communication between all parties was also a good experience. I felt involved with getting my bathroom to look how I wanted. Would I recommend HOME CARE, YES. Would I use them again, YES!!

Had the privilege of working with Paul Yakovlev and his team. They did a highly skilled and thorough job on our recent whole home remodel. Paul kept us informed/updated on the progress via phone calls texts photos and emails during the entire process. He offered great suggestions and improvements on our vision. At completion of the job it was move in ready they even hired a cleaning crew to make sure the house was spotless. We would definitely use Paul and HCC again... and plan to do so soon on our future outdoor space.

I had a small space that I wanted to add a bathroom and kitchenette in. The quote wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive. But the reason I picked them was because I was impressed with the professionalism right from the get go. My main contact, Erik Brutski was AMAZING! He answered all my questions or requests I had through the project in a very timely manor and got the subs scheduled so quickly I was blown away. They worked within my budget perfectly as well. Every sub arrived right on time, and the one time one was going to run late, Erik let me know right away. All the subs did a great job on dealing with the tiny space and all the plumbing and electrical that needed to get squeezed in there, and the puzzle of a drywall installation. Finding a contractor can be a very scary experience and I'm so happy I went with Home Care Contractors. I highly recommend Erik, and will use them for any future jobs.

We needed to have an old garage demolished and Home Care Contractors, specifically Erik Brutsky, did an amazing job with the project. Erik was very communicative during all stages of the project and provided excellent customer service. The contractors were highly skilled, timely, and respectful of the property. The project was completed in just two days and we were very satisfied with how it turned out. We will definitely be using Home Care Contractors again and look forward to having Erik manage our projects moving forward.
