Constraction reviews in Cheney, Washington

Can’t recommend Dirt Worx highly enough! Matt and Dan are really easy to work with and they really care about making sure you get what you want out of the project. They were on time, communicative, and even looked out for ways to save us $$. Our forest looks great and is much safer from fire now. Will use again and would recommend to anyone!

6 acres of fuel reduction for wildfire control. We are very happy with the outcome. Matt is efficient, kind and doesn’t mess around! Enjoyed this process!

We lost our home and shop in the Medical Lake Gray Fire and hired Matt to do our clean up. Matt went over and above what he was hired to do. Everytime we called on Matt for help, no matter the problem, he was there to help us out. Matt and his crew did the clean up in a timely manner and were always available to answer any questions we had. Thanks Matt for making a difficult situation almost bearable.

4.7 acres of fuel reduction for wildfire control in two days., fast, efficient, good value, and did a really good job. Matt is a super communicater making sure you know what is happening and when. Very pleased. Also got the 6 cubic yards of aged wood chips I needed for mulch.

Matt is one of those contractors you want to selfishly hold onto for yourself. Great experience from start to finish! Responsive, professional, friendly, easy to work with, and most of all very good at what he does. Gets a lot of quality work done in a amazingly short span of time.

Matt did a fantastic job cleaning up our property to make it meet the NFPA Firewise program requirements. When he arrived we walked the property and discussed the requirements. Last year he worked with our neighbor and was fully cognizant of the Firewise requirements plus those of our HOA. We reviewed the results when he was done and could not be happier. Matt is easy to work with, asks great questions, did a thorough job, and left our property in excellent condition ready for the fire season. We highly recommend Matt and Dirt Worx. I am not local so I had to find someone I could trust with my project. I hired Matt after speaking with him on the phone. That's not my normal way of business but I went with my gut. Matt went above and beyond by sending me daily photos and videos of the progress. The job was completed with extreme care and professionalism. Very impressed with Matt. Thanks for the great job!

I highly recommend Matt and his company Dirt Worx Land Management Inc. We hired Matt to burn slash piles left behind after logging. Throughout the project, Matt was reliable, on time, and communicated clearly with us. He has a great working relationship with the fire department and DNR. We would not hesitate to hire him again.

They were referred by a friend saying he would treat me right, Well he was right. Matt showed up when he said he would. His crew were awesome to work with also. Very respectful to me and my property. Made sure I was happy before they were done. Not many people or businesses like him anymore. He will treat you right.

Matt deserves 10 stars. I knew in minutes of talking with Matt that he was a man with integrity. Fast, efficient and very professional and still very personable.

Matt’s team was working on a property just across the street from our own. We hadn’t heard of his company before but were so impressed by what they were doing that we asked if they could do our property after! Dirt Worx provided excellent work, communication and timeliness. Would recommend to anyone looking for professional forest work!

Matt is one of most honest and professional people that i have met ! He gives estimates and sticks to his word and goes above and beyond to gain your trust and satisfaction. I would highly recommend matt and his crew for any and all work that needs to be done. Will not hesitate to call him again.

Our home was lost in the Medical Lake Gray Rd fire. I met with Matt and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was communicative during the whole process and his crew was very quick with site prep and removing all the debris from our burned down home. They were professional, prompt and the quality of work was excellent. I highly recommend them!

Working with Matt is great. He knows how to get things done the right way, the first time through. No wasting time and money. His prices for work are reasonable considering the fact that he doesn’t cut corners and provides high quality work that not everyone else can provide. His knowledge and experience are the cornerstones behind his work. Others may charge less, but you will not get the same results and may end up paying more in the long run.
We have been very happy with Dirt Worx and especially Matt. He is our first choice, only call when we need any land work done.

We highly recommend Matt and his crew. Professional, hardworking and reasonably price. They did a great job removing dead trees and limping the live ones. We are ready for fire season thanks to Dirt Worx.

I called Matt with a real emergency. We had a hay stack fire that was fully engulfed. Using water is counter productive as it only prolongs the agony. The only way to combat a hay stack fire is to let it burn as fast and as safely possible. Taring it apart accelerates the process rapidly. Matt put his loader to work for the better part of 12 hrs. Knocking it down, spreading it out, waiting, and repeating the process. By 8 pm, he had successfully reduced the 275 ton pile of biomass to a manageable pile of ashes. Saved us five or six days. By 7:30 the next morning we tilled the remnants into the soil and it was completely extinguished. Matt's willingness to accommodate our emergency saved myself and Fire District 3 days of our resources being committed. And let's be real. It takes some intestinal fortitude to drive a perfectly good piece of equipment into an inferno. I can honestly recommend Matt for whatever anyone needs. Thanks again.

We couldn't be happier with the family friendly service provided by Mr. Matt Aleria and Dirt Worx! From cradle-to-grave, they were professional, expedient (in response and action), and incredibly meticulous in their work. Their attention to detail was unmatched! Matt went above and beyond helping clear excess footings left from a previous job and filled in pot holes along our very long driveway (out of the scope of our original request) to ensure the job was completed to perfection. We reached out to several companies to get help with paving, leveling, and matching an existing gravel driveway to a newly formed garage cement slab. On top of their exceptional quality, their pricing was by far the best compared to the others! It is rare these days to find such a great balance of affordability and top-tier workmanship and getting the opportunity to work with such an upstanding person like Matt was just an added bonus. We wholeheartedly recommend Matt and Dirt Worx for any excavation, grading, or land management needs!

Amazing results!!!
Dirt Worx did some mulching for me and the results were incredible…
Highly recommended… will be having him do more soon…

We had Matt complete a 5 acre DNR Forest Mulching project for us on very heavily wooded land out by Spangle. The entire process, 3 days! went extremely smooth and exceeded our expectations, Price was better than we anticipated. Matt was totally open to feedback and some extra detail I requested with no issues whatsoever. Totally satisfied with this work and would highly recommend to anyone. We have recently been approved by the DNR for the second 5 acres on our place, we look forward to working with Matt again. Great peace of mind having our woods ready to deal with our summer wild fires. Thank you Matt!

Matt and his crew recently finished a commercial project for us in Airway Heights that involved removing our water meter from a neighboring property, reinstalling it on our property, and installing a new irrigation meter. As a small business owner I'd been trying to get this done for over three years but kept running into road blocks from the city at every turn. Matt took over and went straight to the Public Works department and got it handled. I seriously can't express how thankful I am for his initiative, common sense, and creative thinking to get this project done for us. Not only that, but he saved us thousands of dollars of nickel and diming from the city. Dirt Worx Land Management was knowledgeable, efficient, and affordable. Highly recommend!

I saw so many different people recommending Matt Aleria and his excavation company Dirt Worx Land Management that he seemed like the person to call. The positive reviews were accurate. He’s a professional with such expert excavation skills he makes the job look fun, plus he’s a genuinely good guy. Highly recommend him as the person to call.
