I had an emergency with my main panel in my home and Mr. Hlavacek responded almost immediately to my email. This was during the week of the heat wave and they were, understandably, busy. Mr. Hlavacek and Kirill fit me into their very busy schedule and had me fixed up in a jiffy! I plan to hire them in the future for more projects!! 10 out of 10

The electrician was very professional in making sure he was diagnosing the problem correctly and when the replacement part was not available, he went ahead and fixed it for me, and even dropped it off the next day! I really appreciated his helpfulness and professionalism. He really took the extra step to help me fix the problem!

Ed and crew were super responsive, I mean quick in all communication. Got it installed with in a week of contact including an onsite consultation. They explained in detail what they were going to do with confidence and experience. They answered my ignorant questions politely.

We have found the best electrical service in the area. We have tried a couple of others over the years and they were okay. We had another company that we set an appointment with a week ago this past Monday. On Monday they never showed up and I called them and they said they had to cancel due to Covid. We gave them our phone # and email address but we were never contacted. So I called several other electricians in the area and could not get anyone, voicemail, no answer or were booked up. I called Benchmark on Monday but got voice mail also. A few minutes later Ed, from Benchmark, called me back. I gave him our problem and he called us Tuesday and came out to look at the project (small job). He was very pleasant and personable. It was a pleasure to be able to have a genuine smile, great attitude and professional demeanor rolled into one. (Not very many of these lately). He gave us an estimate and said he would be out that afternoon or out today. He called late yesterday and said his men would be out this morning at 09:00AM. They were a few minutes early and had the job done in an hour. The men were also very personable, informative and knowledgeable. Very professional crew. I will be using them for more work in the near future.

I had a list of electrical issues for our new house that I asked Ed to come and check out. Many of the issues he was able to resolve right away. In addition, he helped me get a much better understanding of what I was seeing in the house regarding our electrical panel, random outlets and more! He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

BHS installed a manual transfer switch for a home generator for me. I have a mid century modern home that has quirks and obstacles that new construction doesn’t. Electric Ed was patient and answered all my questions putting me at ease that this process would be painless… and it was! I am grateful for the quality, professionalism and timeliness with getting this project done. I highly recommend BHS.

Ed at Benchmark Home Services was super fast to respond to my online inquiry. He was able to send guys out that same afternoon. Two of our outlets in the kitchen area had started repeatedly tripping, though intermittently. They were able to fix the problem, but since it was intermittent, we couldn't tell immediately while they were still there, if it had been fixed. They were very clear to give them a call back if there was still a problem, but there hasn't been. We remembered we were having issues with our outdoor outlets as well and they were able to replace them too. We're very pleased with their service!

I called Benchmark on a Friday afternoon to try to find someone who could help me with an electrical problem I was having; my fuse tripped that was connected to my washer and my hot water heater, but there was a metal brace on the electrical panel keeping the fuse open. Because I had never seen that before, I felt uncomfortable just flipping it back on like I normally would. After calling - no kidding - dozens of electricians who were all booked for weeks, Ed walked me through it over the phone! He was booked solid like the other companies, but he didn’t just hang up because he couldn’t make it out to my place on short notice. It was such an easy fix, but that’s not the point. The reason I’m writing this review is because he took time out of his day to understand the problem and then help a stranger with a solution that saved me time, worry, and a weekend without hot water. He was knowledgeable and helpful and he could have easily charged me a huge amount of money to take a look at it, but he did this because he’s a decent human being who could help; an honest, trustworthy business owner. If I ever have a problem in my house in the future, Benchmark Home Services will be the first call I make. Ed restored my faith in good people!

With out-of-town guests staying with us over Thanksgiving, we were already overloading our circuits a couple of days ahead of time, and were nervous that our dinner preparations for 10 guests on Thanksgiving Day might wreak total havoc on the electrical system. Ed answered the phone when I called, and while he was booked up with installation work prior to Thanksgiving, he did carve out time to come out to our house that same day to make sure we weren't going to burn our house down, and to give us tips about how to put less pressure on different points throughout the system. Ed was knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and ultimately reassuring. We now know more about our home's aging electrical system, and are confident that we can have a safe Thanksgiving gathering here. We will definitely call him again when the need arises.

Ed and his team did a great job at my place. They wired a new backyard shed and installed network and A/C. Communication was prompt and clear, the job was very neat and I loved the way everything looks. Other than the time the permits took, everything was pretty quick as well. I will definitely recommend Ed & Co. and I will contact them for future work.

Hands down the best electricians! I was nervous as a new homeowner and only going off reviews, but these are the right guys! Ed and his team came to review my project and quote me before doing the work. They showed up on time, finished and didn't waste ANY of my time or money. The ceiling fan and new light look fantastic! I will FOR SURE be calling them again soon.

I didn't care to quote anyone else, but to me, this seemed like a fair price considering they also provided parts and had to go into my scary attic to find a connection. Thank you Benchmark! 10/10!
