Jody and his team are the best of the best. I have used all of there services for over 8 years. They do regular yard service on my principal and rental properties. They have done gates, fencing, pavers, retaining walls, sprinklers etc. Their work is fantastic and I highly recommend all of their services. I had Jhoans Landscaping install an underground drain from one of my downspouts. They arrived on-time and had the work done in the amount of time promised, which was a quick job. We hired Jhoan’s landscaping 3 years ago to help take down an old patio that was built by our developer and build a new patio. They did remove about 60% of our old cement patio which was raised not quite 3 feet. They went on to build and expand over the top of the old patio with pavers. Things seemed to go well during the build. They recommended certain 12 by 12 pavers and that first summer it was great. The next summer the patio really started to settle and they came back and leveled a few of pavers. Unfortunately the pavers lost all of their color the first winter but not much we could do to fix that. Then the following summer things started to settle again and we just lived with it. Little response from Jhoan’s at that point. This past summer, 3 years after the patio was constructed, it was non usable. A lot of the pavers settled to the point they were tripping hazards. The edge of the patio had a significant amount of pavers that were no longer attached to the base and the railing would rock with the slightest amount of pressure. It felt like the entire railing could flip if you leaned on it. The pavers rocked when you walked in them. It was not safe to be on it. We texted several times Jhoans to see if we could get a quote to try and restore the patio. No response. We did get a hold of them twice on the phone and both times they said they would come out and look at the patio. Both times they no showed. We had to hire someone else to fix the patio. We had a few people look at it and all agreed it was installed poorly. It had to basically be redone. Once our new contractor lifted the pavers we found a significant gap had formed along the pavers at the edge of the patio. A lot of the fill had significantly settled. A little more investing found that when they built the wall they never backed filled the base to the wall. All the fill started from the top started to sink into the areas left without fill causing the failure of the patio. It was very clear they cut corners when they built the base. We also found that out a lot the cement debris was placed into the fill to take up space so they did not have to use as much fill and they did not have to dispose of the old cement/debris again cutting corners. With all the waste debris added there was no way the fill would compact appropriately causing even more settling. The patio was set up to fail. Once we spent $4,800 to have it fixed we emailed Jhoans explaining what was found and again no response. We even sent pictures. I would stay away from using this company. Poor quality in their work, they cut corners, and non communicative if there are problems.

I highly recommend Jhoan’s Landscaping for a variety of landscaping needs, which describes the abundance of foliage, grass, trees, bushes, floral plants, etc., in my new home. They did an excellent job making my newly acquired property look fantastic! True professionals, in every sense of the word!

Jhoans' team tamed my 75 ft long , 16 ft. high English Laurel Hedge. They took 4 ft. off the top and pushed it back a a foot on each side. It looks great and ready for summer. He also did an excellent job pruning my 40 year old apple tree.
And his estimate was best of 4.
I'll have them back next year.
