Trying to work with Scott ended up being a pretty horrible experience- he came out to our house in early August and was super helpful seemed like a great person to work with, I then spent a month trying to schedule a time for him to come to our house to do work, which was basically me calling repeatedly until he finally responded- very stressful and time consuming. Finally at the beginning of September we made a date for 9/26. That day comes and Scott does not show up, says he’s having issues at a different job site and that he will reschedule for the end of the week. I don’t hear back from him and have to incessantly call him until he answers again- I ask him point blank if he still wants to work this job and he says yes and gives me a date in two weeks. I try to call him multiple times over the next week to to confirm the date of our appointment and he has never responded. Still have not heard back from him 3 weeks latter. Basically spent two months trying to book an appointment with someone who then completely ghosted me- now three months later I’m back to square one trying to find an electrician. Huge waste of time and energy.

Answers and returns phone calls. Then showed up exactly at the time he said he would. He installed 6 lighting fixtures at my house along with fixing an additional one. While here he also managed to troubleshoot and fix an electric heater. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone else!

We called to have our well hooked up to our generator. When our house was built it was suppose to be hooked up already, we lost power and the well didn't work. He came out after hours the same day and found the problem from the builders and fixed it in under an hour. The prices were great and he was polite and understanding. We will definitely call him again.

Scott was responsive, professional and knowledgeable. He gave us great service and we would recommend him to anyone needing a good electrician.

Recently purchased a house and immediately started doing all the minor updates to spruce the place up. Armed with some youtube videos and arrogance, I started to work on some of the switches around the older house. It didn't take long to realise I had bitten off more than I could chew. After effectively cutting the power to half the house, we reached out to Scott/ Gateway Electric to get things back on track. What took me about 6 hours to ruin, Scott was able to fix in less than hour. With power back to the house and all the outlets working as expected, I can get back to "fixing" other things around our the house!

Scott was friendly and responsive. He was able to get out to our place on relatively short notice and was able to quickly assess our issues. I will definitely be using Gateway Electric going forward.

Scott was on time, found the issue quickly, took pictures, and contacted PSE for me. I was more than pleased and will call him back when I am ready to add a circuit for a welder in my garage.

Scott solved my issues quickly and professionally. He came out the Saturday after Thanksgiving and was perfectly on time. He troubleshooted my problem and then fixed it. I will 100% be calling him back next time I ever have an electrical issue.

I called Gateway for a quote on installing a couple of lights. Scott was able to provide that quote same day and schedule service within a week. He was very professional and provided exactly what I was requesting. I will be calling him again for any electrical work in the future.

Scott was very professional and knowledgeable about what was needed for upgrading my fuse panel, in order to be able to have an AC unit and hot tub installed. Quick to respond to any call/email and was able to schedule me sooner than other places that I had called.

Scott installed a new meter box and outdoor main panel on my house in Federal Way. He listened to my needs and the finished product was exactly what I wanted. He worked with the permit office and PSE and kept me informed at every step of the project. The city electrical inspector quickly certified the work. I will call Gateway Electric whenever I need electrical work done.

Scott came out and rescued me when I needed a new electrical panel as part of a remodel. He met me for a bid and fit the job into the first available slot in his schedule. He knew all the right people to call and the proper procedures to follow to get the job completed within a very short span of time. I won't hesitate to recommend Gateway Electric to friends and family. I will definitely contact Scott for any future electrical work needed at my home or rental. Thanks, Scott!

I can’t recommend Gateway enough! We needed an inspection for insurance purposes. Scott was prompt in providing a quote and was able to provide service within a week. He thoroughly explained everything and even provided tips on how we could fix some issues ourselves. We will definitely be contacting them again if we need an electrician!

Scott was professional and very punctual. He has a great personality and set our family at ease and even dealt well with our quirks (barking, yapping dogs, 5 year old inquisitive twin boys!) He replaced our outdated panel for the sale of our home, and while the house wasn't that nice to him (it's been a nightmare for most projects in the last 9 years!) he still work with kindness, honesty and thoroughness. I'd hire him in a heartbeat again.

Scott from Gateway Electric was fantastic! He came out to our home quickly to fix an outlet that “burnt out”. He was friendly, and took the time to explain everything. I Definitely recommend him and this business!

Contacted Gateway yesterday - Was having some issues with a new house, wondering about insufficient power making it to appliances and breakers getting tripped. Scott showed up today on time, figured out where the issues were coming from, and was incredibly knowledgeable and customer-oriented. Even went out of his way to teach me a fair bit about what was going on. Can't recommend him enough - we just moved to Graham and plan to be here indefinitely, and as long as Gateway's around, I don't see myself ever going anywhere else for electrical work.

Edit: Scott's come out for a few issues these past few years, and every time he's been friendly, helpful, informative, and quick. Most emphatic five-star review I can give.
