Dan was on time, provided all the information upfront, was gracious when an unexpected maintenance man showed up and finish my entire condo in under an hour. My carpets looked great and smelled even better. Would definitely use Excel again.

Their prices are very competitive, I used them 3 times. When I first moved into my house and again about a year later. Unfortunately, my cat peed in the same spot again and I asked them to come out and treat an area again, I paid the minimum plus the animal treatment. Side note i had to get rid of my cats because my youngest is allergic to them this was before the last treatment. So my reason for the negative review is the urine smell I paid so much to go away, never went away. When he cleaned the carpet it was summer and the windows were always open. Now with the change of season the windows are closed and the fresh smell of summer doesn’t mask the smell urine he fully took care of and is still there. Mike told me that my cat peed on the wall and he told me to wipe it down with a little Clorox bleach and water, which I did and the smell still existed. I contacted them because their “guarantee” I paid a lot of money for the pet accident to be cleaned and the smell to be gone, which it wasn’t. Mike phoned me back, telling me why he can’t come back because of 14 day policy, well there goes that guarantee. I would understand if I walked on a carpet and it was dirty again but this was for a smell he promised with his cleaning solution would go away but it clearly did not. He was blaming my walls, even though I cleaned it like he told me. Anyway, if the price is too good to be true there’s a reason. I wouldn’t recommend this carpet cleaning company.

Both Mary and Mike were great to work with. They were very flexible and fit us into a tight scheduling window. Their knowledge of the process and expertise is impressive, and the carpet cleaning far exceeded our expectations. Ian was great to work with throughout our carpet cleaning process. He was on time, very professional and knowledgeable. After the cleaning I ran into an issue with our landlord and Mike was able to remedy the issue and make both parties happy at a reasonable price. My dog and her stomach don't always get along - meaning I get my carpets cleaned a few times a year. I had tried a few places early on but ever since I found Excel I never looked back! They are reasonably priced and always do a great job! They are very thorough but still efficient (meaning I don't have to give up my entire day, which I appreciate). I have never had an issue with them not showing up on time and their communication is great! Highly recommend!

From start to finish, Mike provided detailed information and customer care. After his carpet cleaning I was concerned about the odor in my Condo. He immediately said that he would retreat at no cost with a steam cleaning. As it turned out, there was no issue with the odor after moving in, heating and airing out the Unit. Dan, my scheduled professional, arrived on time and contacted me prior to his arrival- much appreciated. He was pleasant and thorough in explaining the process and how the pricing would apply to the areas in the home.
The basement carpets were admittedly an eyesore and should’ve been professionally cleaned prior to move-in but shockingly, Dan had them looking great in no time.

A few days after the clean/ move-out, the owner of the home complained of sharp, pungent odors that could even be smelled from outside an opened window. Completely perplexed and worried about the state of the previously unremarkable carpeting, I emailed asking for advice and whether they’ve experienced something like this before. Mary reached out the following morning and also ensured Mike would be contacting me.

Long story short, Mike offered to personally come back out and apply a treatment to the carpets in attempt to remedy the carpet odor. It took a few subsequent trips to fix the problem but he was adamant he would be able to return the carpets to their former glory. True to his word, the pet odor could no longer be detected and most importantly, the landlord/ owner was happy.

I'm greatly appreciative of his expertise in the field and for also going above and beyond for his customers.

We have had Sam clean our carpets once a year for the past two years. He is fantastic. He arrives on time, is contentious about ensuring no trim corners are nicked, is very efficient, and leaves our carpets looking brand new. We also had a stain that wasn’t able to come out from cleaning, and the owner helpfully gave us the name of another company who could help re-color the carpet. They are a great company we will continue to use.

Called and the owner Mike answered the phone. He answered all my questions before I decided to schedule work I needed done. After I scheduled appointment online. After they knew I wanted an appointment sooner, "Mary" from their shop reached out to offer next day service, which I took. Technician "Ian" showed up and did a great job, was very thorough and explained the process well. They cleaned carpets in 3 bedrooms and the results were outstanding. Friendly and superior service. I needed an emergency service, and Mike was able to fit me in right away. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The technician arrived promptly, inspected the stain, and got set up immediately. I was impressed by how quiet the cleaning process was inside the house and how carefully the equipment was setup inside the house.

Because of the type of stain, they explained that a follow‑up might be necessary and assured me it would be included as part of the service. As predicted, a quick 15‑minute follow‑up was required, and the stain was completely removed. It’s been perfect ever since.

This is the second time we hired Excel Carpet to deep clean a huge house, and they yet again exceeded our expectations. Mike quoted us a lower price than anyone because of promotions we were aware of, and Ian showed up on time (we also got lucky with a last minute cancel so we got the same day service). I was expecting a 2-3 hour job, but Ian spent almost 5 hours and cleaned the carpet thoroughly. I appreciate his professional call that he can save the carpet and I felt good about the decision to clean instead of replace the carpet of the whole house.

Alan and his team have been taking care of our roof, gutter and window cleaning for years. They are reliable, communicative and do a great job. Today, I had my gutters cleaned and I asked if they could replace a tarp that had blown off in a recent wind storm (our sunroof has a leak and we are awaiting a repair). I fully expected an upcharge for this additional labor as would be fair, but Alan refused to charge.
