Did excellent work troubleshooting issues with my original solar array (NW Electric and Solar did not install the original system).

I then purchased a whole-home battery back-up from NW Electric and Solar. The entire process went very smoothly. They provided me with a ton of information and a variety of options to use in setting up the system. The install was done in a very timely manner and any follow-up questions were answered quickly.

NW Elect & Solaris is the Tesla certified installer in WA that Tesla choose to install their solar system. Initially I got the quote online at the Tesla Website. NW E&S written estimate came in very close to Teslas estimate.
They installed 20 solar panels and 2 Tesla power walls in a little over 2 days. They did a great job the workmanship was very professional. The system works great. Would highly recommend them

Cameron did a great job installing the EV Level 2 charger with a whole house surge protector, and pulling the permit. Here are few of my highlights: -

On time. Great communication. Clean install as requested. Cleaned up the area after the area after install.

Team was awesome and helped me from choosing the right array, through installation, and checking up afterwards. They worked with me on a new build to hide all the conduit and placing the inverter in the ideal spot. They also walked me through the app to monitor solar production. Will be working with them again soon to add a battery to the house.

Communication was fast and friendly thanks to Jacob (Jacob Field), who managed the whole project - I was given prompt updates along the way; parts needed to be ordered, a panel inspection was done for my particular install. There was a last-minute hiccup when a van got a flat tire, and Jacob went above and beyond to share options and ultimately still make the scheduled installation day (which was very, very impressive).

Ari (Ariunkhuu Munkhbat) did an excellent install for the charger, sealing the wall penetration tidily with silicone and running the conduit neatly along the wall. He took care to explain the function of the Neurio device and the features of the Tesla wall connector.

Overall fantastic experience and excellent customer care. Highly recommend these folks!

NW Solar installed my 16.8 kW solar array, 2x Powerwall 3 + whole home gateway & backup, Span.io 48 smart panel and 2x Tesla Universal chargers. They took care of the permitting and commissioning with the power utility. Couldn't be happier with the work.

I've had a consistently great experience with NWES. They've completed a solar assessment, installed my solar panels and installed the wall charger for my Tesla. David did a great job, he was early, and while he was on-site to install my wall-charger he also did another small peripheral install (ring cam), which was nice because it saved me some time. The communication, ease-of-scheduling, and the genuinely competent and nice people who come to do the work are all reasons why I'll happily hire NWES again and recommend them to my friends.

I had a highly positive experience with the field crews at NWES, particularly the lead, Evie. He and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, always prioritizing crew safety and staying late each day to ensure thorough cleanup. Evie’s communication skills were outstanding, which made the start of my project—installing 16 solar panels, 4 Tesla Powerwalls, and 2 SPAN panels—truly impressive.
However, things took a turn when technical issues arose with one SPAN panel and a Tesla Powerwall connector. This is where the project management’s weaknesses became glaringly apparent. Instead of stepping up to resolve the problems, my project manager demonstrated complete incompetence. There was no timely outreach to explain the issues, no proposed plan or solutions, and even after my repeated follow-ups, responses were delayed or nonexistent. Now, a month past the original completion date, I’m still without any updates on fixes or a timeline to wrap things up. I even postponed an important summer trip twice to accommodate the schedule, only to be met with radio silence on my emails and calls—as if my concerns didn’t matter.
This highlights a severe lack of fundamental project management skills: poor communication, disorganization, ineffective time management, inadequate problem-solving, and zero focus on client expectations. Without these glitches, I might never have noticed the management flaws, but they’ve left my project unresolved and frustrating.
I’d still rate the field team 5 stars, with special praise for Evie—he’d make an exceptional project manager himself. That said, I urge potential customers to carefully weigh NWES’s project management shortcomings before committing. I was set to give a full 5-star review until these issues emerged, dragging it down significantly.

It took a little time upfront going back and forth via email and the form to explain, show, and clarify what I wanted but once it was done, everything was straightforward and simple. Payment was all online, work was scheduled and completed as expected. Inspection set up for me and happening today. I used the EV charger last night and all good. You made it all so simple and easy for me. Thank you so much! If you do electrical work other than EV and Solar panel, I'll hire you in a heartbeat again!

Northwest electric and solar did a good job of installing a Tesla wall connector in our garage. David was our electrician. Our panel was maxed out, so they reused the 30 amp dryer circuit using a smart switch to work for both the dryer and ev charging. They did all the required permitting work and the inspection passed without any issue.

Couldn’t be more impressed with Northwest Electric for an EV charger install. It was very easy to get a quote and I was surprised to find such a great price compared to other electricians. It was easy to schedule and the technician, Cameron, showed up on time, was very professional and easy to work with. I was impressed by his speed, cleanliness of work and was creative with the installation. The charger was installed outside on the siding and he even reinforced the mount by adding some clasp 2x4 I had laying around. 5 star service all the way around.
