I got my tree pruned by Dominant Tree Service, i will highly recommend. They were the best quote, on time and highly professional. My HOA had hired some other company for their trimming. The difference in quality of work and cleanup was night and day.

Dominant Tree Service reduced a dead tree on a sloped section of my property to a safely sized stump. They helped me work with the city to get permission to do the work and then were able to do the work in the next few days at a very competitive price. I was working with another tree service for months on this and was really frustrated that it was moving along so slowly. I contacted Dominant Tree Service on a Monday and by Thursday it was all done. They did a great job both protecting my existing landscaping from damage and leaving the work sight very clean (actually cleaner than it was before). I would recommend Dominant Tree Service to anyone who needs work done on their trees.

Professional and timely ground crew and a fair bid from estimator! We had a tree removed that had both root rot and was leaning over. We were able to schedule the removal one week out and the folks that showed up were awesome. Dominant Tree Service will definitely be on my short list moving forward.

Reasonably priced and their arborist was knowledgeable and to-the-point. The crew did a good job. I had some special instructions and a last minute add-on to remove a broken branch high up on a hemlock. There was no additional charge which I really appreciate. However, they arrived more than half an hour late, which is why I knocked off one star.

Andy, Matthew, Terry, and the team were excellent. They were quick to come out to provide a quote and quickly accommodate our urgent needs. Their prices are very reasonable compared to the other companies we inquired about. Definitely our go-to tree company from now on!

Hiring Dominant Tree Service was a massive waste of time. Their estimator agreed to do all of the work I requested and sent a bid for the project, which I approved. The work was scheduled, and several weeks later (on the day they were scheduled to complete the job), they made a whole host of excuses for why they couldn't (or didnt want to) do the work - Despite the fact that nothing in the scope of my project required a permit. They then promised to come back the next day, but never showed up.

No integrity. They cut down TWO landmark trees without checking for the permit, and then they placed responsibility on others. Whether or not it was in the contract, any arborist with integrity would make sure proper permits were in place. It is shameful what they did.

They were efficient and pleasant to work with, and very patient while we waited a long time to get permits sorted with the city.

Cheapest quote we received and the tree removal went very smoothly. A bit difficult to get in touch with the team, but otherwise no problems.

Matthew and his crews are excellent workers, dedicated to their trade and it is clearly shown in the way they perform their work. They’ve cut multiple trees for us on our property, and not only do they do it in an efficient and timely manner, it’s done with care, quality and professionalism. We’ve had only wonderful experiences working with Dominant Tree Service. I only recommend Matthew and his crews to people in need of tree service, and you will not be disappointed in choosing them.

Wonderful hard workers. Mathew, the owner, is an arborist and very knowledgeable. He's the leader of his company and team that showed up to work. There were 7 men and they worked hard from morning till late afternoon till our job was finished. They took down a 60 year old maple and trimmed down about 200 feet of hedge that was approximately 30 feet high and now we have our puget sound view back. We are extremely pleased and it was worth every penny! Also, this company has all the equipment they need, truck to haul away all the wood, chipper and the truck shoots into, bucket truck to get those precarious places, and a stump grinder. On top of all this they were all very courteous and knowledgeable.

If you ever need a tree service, one with a certified arborist, I highly recommend Dominant Tree Service. Beginning with the first contact where they actually answered the phone all the way to the last branch they picked up before leaving, the Dominant Tree crew were exceedingly professional—on time with fair pricing, meticulous and careful while here, asked my opinion regarding aesthetics, and left our yard cleaner than before they arrived. A friendly crew of five trimmed deadwood from very tall firs and an old oak, removed heavy branches at risk of coming down, thinned branches to ease wind flow, and pruned a mature rhododendron to improve our kitchen window view. They even removed three small tree stumps, tripping hazards, at no additional charge. It can be a challenge finding good service people and when you hire a hardworking crew doing outstanding work, you want to share with others.

I had several large trees, some over 150 feet tall, dangerously close to my house. One of them was even leaning toward the house, with branches directly above the ceiling. Adding to the challenge, there were electric wires nearby and a garden in front of my house. I was quite skeptical that anyone could handle such a complex job without causing damage.

I’m so glad I decided to hire Dominant Tree. Their service and quality far exceeded my expectations! First off, the price was very reasonable. On the day of the appointment, they arrived on time, fully equipped with large machinery, and immediately got to work.

Their team worked with impressive professionalism, starting by carefully cutting the branches and using ropes and other techniques to ensure nothing fell on the roof. They then cut the tree down piece by piece, precisely guiding each section into a designated 4x4 area without damaging anything else.

To top it off, they went above and beyond by cleaning my roof and work area. They even pointed out an issue with my roof, which was caused by another skylight company, and offered valuable suggestions for repairs.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with their work. If I could give them 6 stars out of 5, I absolutely would! Highly recommend Dominant Tree for any challenging tree removal job.

Dominant was great! The person that did the quote as well as the team that trimmed our 4-story cedar were super kind, informative, and efficient. They even cleaned up some brush that was there before they came and left our backyard in perfect condition.

Dominant Tree Services was a great company to work with. They removed a large unhealthy branch from a tree right near our house with precision and care. They explained what to look for regarding the health of our trees all around the house. They even removed an extra dead branch from a completely separate tree at no extra cost. Great guys!

Andy my estimator had some thoughtful comments about the different trees on the property. The team that came out was efficient and also thoughtful. The crew lead gave me some tips about the likely longer term future of a couple tricky trees on the property. They are respectful of permit rules, I have one tree with many trunks that they trimmed as much as they could but suggested I'll need to revisit it this summer when it's more clear how much is dead and make sure it's finished off within permit rules. They don't do permits themselves but can refer someone to help if the homeowner isn't up for it. There was quite a bit of debris from the trimming but when they left the yard was fully tidied, the furniture moved back into place, and the decaying gate carefully closed with a prop against it. Thank you! The final cost was as estimated.

Our family had a great experience with this tree company from start to finish. The team was professional, on time, and clearly knew what they were doing. A special shout-out to Matthew, who did an excellent job — he was knowledgeable, careful with our property, and made sure everything was done right. Truly the BEST tree service out there. Nobody comes close to Matthew’s attention to detail and customer service. He’s taken down several trees at my home and removed stumps, and each time he left my yard cleaner than he found it, by leaps and bounds! They come in, get the job done, and are out in the blink of an eye, all while being so respectful and kind. They treat my yard like it’s their own, and it shows in their work.
