Timberline Patio Covers did a great job for us. Their work was excellent, construction disruptions minimal, and they left the work area cleaned up and tidy - every day! Responses to any concerns or questions was timely, even while they were shutdown during the pandemic. A pleasure to do business with, AND we love our new patio cover!

We had a wonderful experience with the Timberline crew once we broke ground on the project. Kyle, Josh, David, Lucas, Cole, Jeff, and Jet were all first class to work with. The work was thorough and completed in a timely manner. They accommodated some changes on the fly, and fixed all mistakes. Could not more highly recommend Timberline.

I cannot recommend Timberline Patio Covers enough. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, they exuded professionalism, dedication, and a true passion for their craft. They expertly built a new deck and patio cover for my home that exceeded my expectations.

A special mention to Zolen, the lead carpenter, who made the entire process a breeze. His clear and timely communication kept me informed throughout the project and he ensured all work was done to the highest standards. Zolen's expertise was invaluable, guiding me through crucial decisions and making sure every detail was carefully considered.

The quality of their work is superb, reflected in the new addition to my home. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction set them apart in this industry.

I wholeheartedly endorse Timberline Patio Covers for any deck and patio services, and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future. They truly stand out in their field and are more than capable of bringing your vision to life.

Over the years I've worked with many different contractors but my project with Timberline was by far the most satisfying experience I've had. From project design, planning, installation, and follow-up, there was never a question of what was happening or when from materials delivery, daily project updates, daily progress photos, payment methods, etc. their online project management tools were a easy to use, & no detail left out.
    .
Every person I dealt with throughout the process from project pre-sales, build-up, & completion was courteous, flexible, & professional. The final project ended up looking like it was part of the original house build, not some add-on that looked like "an add-on". The product exceeded my expectations & I'm pretty picky.

In today's environment & past experiences, it was a refreshing change. I can't recommend them enough to anyone contemplating a patio project big or small. (Note: in photos, owner painting is not 100% complete nor staining of tongue & groove roof ceiling)

TImberline Patio Covers did a fantastic job with our covered patio addition. They were the ultimate professionals to work with and the final project was beyond what we had hoped for. We use the patio every day (rain or shine)! All the subs were fantastic and Tony and Brett from TPC were amazing. Highly recommend.

Our project was to put a covered structure over our deck adding about 600 square feet of outdoor living space. We did a lot of research into reputable companies and Timberline was on the top of that list. The project was completed during the pandemic and took around 15 months from soup to nuts, with actual construction completed in about 6 weeks. From initial design, through permitting and construction was extremely well organized and communication was great throughout. Clayton, Jeremiah, Kyle and all the others were fantastic to work with. We recommend them often to our friends when they comment on how fabulous the space is. We love it.

Timberline recently built our gorgeous patio cover and we were very pleased with their focus on quality, professionalism and attention to detail. The final result is stunning. Across the board, the team worked together to deliver framing, masonry, electric, gas, beautiful carpentry, and more.

From the start, our sales person, Jeff was instrumental in capturing our vision. At kickoff, we were pleased to work with Tony to scope out and make plans for the project - we appreciated his knowledge and expertise. Kyle, Zolan, Eli and Luis did fantastic carpentry and meticulous woodworking. Eli and Seth advised us and managed all the electrical work. Landon was always hardworking and professional. And we loved working with Clayton -- he always went the extra mile and expertly guided us on various decisions and ensured all the project activities came together beautifully.

As a whole, the team was clearly invested in building a top-notch product, and ensuring we were wildly happy with the final result. The daily project and progress updates were helpful to understand the status and next steps. The team listened to our questions and concerns and seemed to genuinely want us to be wildly happy with the end result - and we are!!

Kyle Bannister and team did a phenomenal job on our backyard project. Initially, we had commissioned Timberline to build a large outdoor structure but ended up adding on an outdoor bathroom/shower and storage room. The team was organized, and project managed the whole thing transparently. We loved the regular updates on BuilderTrend, the online project management tool that they use. They were always pleasant and courteous on site and responsive to any questions we had. The quality was excellent and there was no nickeling and diming for things we were not happy with. I would recommend Timberline in a heartbeat. Thank you for building a place that we will be forming memories in for years (if not decades)!

We couldn't be more thrilled with the results!

The first contractor we contacted actually referred us to Timberline due to the size and complexity of the job. I had some rough drawings I had made using free 3D drawing software. I showed them my ideas in December (You'll see the concept drawings in the photos), we discussed materials, components, and pricing throughout January, and signed a contract in late January.

They prepared architectural drawings in February and the engineering in March. By April we were in Permitting with the city and broke ground in late May.

They knew we were planning a big party for Mid August so they worked feverishly to get it all done in time. Tony was our project manager and was great with communication. Lucas was our construction lead and Matt his assistant, and they both were great to have on the job, and they kept us updated daily with what they were working on and what was coming next.

I was also impressed with their choice of contractors for the gas, electric, masonry, and painting, all did high quality work and were very professional, courteous, and respectful of our home and our neighbors.

Throughout the project Tony (Project Manager) had great ideas on how we could improve things, and they were always very responsive to our wishes, working very hard to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted.

For as much of an ordeal as it can be to have people working at your house for four months, they made it as painless and as stress free as possible. There we no major issues or concerns, and even the minor stuff was typically cleared up in one email or phone call. I can't imagine having a better experience.

And the final result is absolutely amazing! We are on the patio every day and throughout the weekends, watching football, cooking, and enjoying hosting friends and family. It's made such a huge impact on our quality of life. I only wish we had done this sooner.

The scope of the work was a 16x30 covered patio, plus pavers along the front and side, and a separate paver and fire pit area. The patio has 4 skylights, a ceiling fan, 12 recessed can lights, four 4Kw heaters, a 36-inch gas fireplace, 36-inch Hestan grill and dual side burners, Bose speakers, and a 70-inch Skyvue outdoor TV. The counter tops are granite, and the kitchen, built-in seating, and fireplace are covered in natural stone. The seating is topped with natural blue stone and has built-in storage areas underneath. The flooring is Mbrico porcelain tile and it is amazing! We've already had things like grease and even a bit of paint spill on to it, but everything just wipes up effortlessly with a little shot of Formula 409 and a paper towel. It's expensive, but if you want zero maintenance flooring that will last a lifetime, this is the stuff to get.

I can't speak highly enough of Timberline patio covers and their entire team. If you are looking for top quality work, you won't be disappointed.

We had our aging patio cover replaced with one from PCF this summer. We couldn’t be happier with the result! From our initial meeting with our project consultant, Chris, who helped us with design and materials selection, through the completion of the project, we had a terrific experience with everyone we worked with. Thank you to Kyle B., David T., Millen, Eric and Mac for a 5-star job!

We had a wonderful experience with Timberline Patio Covers. They built a tall deck on our property featuring a roof with installed skylights, heaters, ceiling fan, and recessed lights, a staircase, and a great railing. Our project manager Kyle B. and his colleague Jessie made sure all of the contractors were scheduled so that there weren't any major delays once construction began. The project lead Boris and his crew Colin, Kyle W., and Jeremiah did such a great job with the construction. Their attention to detail and obvious pride in their work really made a difference to the final product. We couldn't be more pleased. They kept us informed the entire way and were always patient with our questions. They kept the job site clean and were friendly with our curious kids. They showed up on time every day and worked until they finished whatever was on the agenda for the day. Because of their effort and dedication, it is the best room in our house. The work by Rock Electric (Seth, Eli, Aaron, Chris H., and Angel) looks great, and they were also very communicative and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted. The same can be said with the crew from Rescom railing - Christian and Jacob - they made sure the final product met our expectations and didn't go over budget. Really happy that we chose to work with this contractor!

I have mixed feelings about Timberline. I hired them because of the many great reviews and beautiful result photos. I even recommended them to a friend when the job started.

    Pros:
    • Communication was very professional. All communication and billing were handled through an app, which was convenient.
    • The project manager who oversaw quality was very detail-oriented and easy to communicate with throughout the project. He was my favorite person on the team and, honestly, worth two stars on his own. Unfortunately, he only visited the site once during the project, although he did return at the end to review the work.
    • During the estimate, the team explained the process clearly, drew pictures, and walked me through what to expect.

    Cons:
    • The pricing changed dramatically. I requested an estimate last year. When I asked for a new quote about six months later, the price increased by about 50%, which felt excessive and not fully explained by inflation. After discussion, they lowered the price closer to the original quote, but it was still higher. I should have trusted my instinct at that point. Later I got a surprise bill later ( they can argue that, but almost 4k to remove and replace rotten 3x6ft fascia was a surprise for me, and they found wood pieces that they “forgot”to return to store when I questioned the material costs)
    • The final quality depended heavily on the individual workers. Some worker was skillful, but there was a lack of attention to detail. Then it ended up with panels not being nailed at all, areas left uncovered, strips popping up, different wood panels brought to site than what we agreed on, and steps being skipped even after I reminded them multiple times. When I questioned this, I was told those steps were unnecessary, etc.

We cannot say enough good things about Timberline. They created a patio roof cover design for us to envision, gave us daily detailed updates about their progress via their Buildertrend app and were responsive to all of our questions when asked. They started and completed our project sooner than expected, just in time for us to enjoy it all summer. We absolutely adore our patio roof cover. We now have an outdoor room we can enjoy with our family and friends many months of the year!

The team at Timberline Patio Covers and Rock Electric helped to transform our backyard patio into a beautiful outdoor entertainment and living space. It started with a very thorough review of our architectural plans with the sales engineer (Skylar Owen) who guided us on the various aspects of their construction process. This included looking at other client projects which convinced me the company was qualified and competent. Once engaged, their professionalism really kicked into gear! Starting with the consistent communications I received on our project from Jesica (Jet) Garcia (Customer Care Manager) to the onsite project manager (Kyle Bannister). Their onsite foreman (Lucas Cook) took tremendous interest in every aspect of the construction process. Lucas’s enthusiasm for making our pavilion come to life was real and very much appreciated! On the Rock Electric side, their team came through by really listening to what we wanted to accomplish, both functionally and esthetically. Aaron Motter (Lead Journeyman) went out of his way to help review and implement a custom electrical and lighting program for our project. Brad Wood and Chris Hale (On site Foreman) executed the electrical plan with top notch professionalism. The end result is a beautiful and comfortable outdoor pavilion we look forward to entertaining our friends and family for many years to come!

Timberline Patio Covers has done an exceptional job with our two-story deck and gable roof. I had done my homework and received quotes from a few different vendors. Tony was thorough with his presentation on their skills, work ethic and past performance. Mario and Kyle were the A team! Not only did they show up every day ready to go they created a work of art and obviously take pride in what they do. Every other team that came to help from the Rock Electric crew, the Rescom railing crew and even the occasional crew that came to assist were fantastic. Is my deck the second most expensive thing I’ve bought in my life…yes! Am I going to be paying for it for the next 15 years….yes! Am I going to spend every day enjoying the rainy Pacific Northwest from the comforts of my heated and amazing deck… heck yes I am! “This deck is fire!”

The team at Timberline Patio Covers and Rock Electic helped us bring our dream outdoor living space to life! Initially it didn't look like the project would ever take off, but they worked extremely hard with the city to get my project design approved. We added a much larger composite 2 tiered deck with a cover, outdoor kitchen and fire pit area.

Mario P. was a fantastic project manager, if you are lucky enough to work with him on your project you'll understand why. He is so thorough, detail oriented and was very patient and responsive to all of our questions/concerns along the way. He always took the time to hear us and resolve any issues we ran into along the way and continues to do so now post completion. He's great at his profession and is even a better person!

He had an amazing team around him, Steve and Edwin did an incredible job installing our custom Azenco cover (awesome louvered cover system) that butted up against our house. There were some tweaks that had to be made along the way, but they were able to problem solve to truly make it one of a kind!

Teagan with Rock Electric also did an incredible job, he had a sizeable task of installing 4 large Bromic heaters as well as running power and lighting to our Azenco cover and outdoor kitchen. He masterfully hid all the control boxes in an existing stucco pillar, which are located a good 125ft from our electrical panel in the gargage!

Highly recommend the entire team at Timberline Patio Covers, so do yourself a favor and at least have them come out and give you an estimate. They likely won't be the cheapest price wise, but their quailty and craftsmanship are worth it!!

From the first meeting with the salesperson to the final cleanup, every aspect of my new paver step project with the Timberline Patio Covers and The People Come First Group was stellar. This company was highly recommended to me by someone who was surveyed over the phone about the quality of their work. In over 45 years of every kind of home remodel and project imaginable, I have never worked with a team as professional, knowledgeable about design and materials, and quick to respond as PCF. I highly recommend their services.

Timberline was excellent to work with. Our overall deck project was complex, requiring skillful design and execution. Every member of our work crew was professional, courteous, timely and meticulous.
Our carpenters, Jake, Calvin and Landyn were thorough and top-notch in safety. Cristian did a wonderful job with the railings. Ace and Don made sure all electrical was complete and to code. Mario, our project manager, was always available for questions and took care of any and all concerns. Thank you so much!

Our experience working with Timberline Patio Covers was TOP-NOTCH from start to finish and we would 100% recommend them! We've been planning for this covered space for quite a long time and choosing the right builder was so very important. I know there are many people behind the scenes keeping things running, but I want to give a shout out to Mario, who managed our project. He's no-nonsense, easy to communicate with, and we had TOTAL confidence in him running our project.
When it comes down to the actual build and having crew on your property day after day, there's no one we would want other than Jack and Jeremiah! Both of them are friendly and respectful, incredibly hard workers, talented at what they do, and just a pleasure to work with. They were always here when they said they would be and were very gracious with me and all of my questions. :) The whole process was fascinating and I enjoyed knowing what they were doing and watching it come together- and they were so kind to share with me. If you choose Timberline for your project, I hope you're lucky enough to work with them!
Lastly, I want to mention Timberline's use of their on-line portal for project communication. At first I thought it was going to be cumbersome, but it was brilliant. We've worked with OTHER contractors who either don't communicate or don't follow through and that makes it incredibly difficult to follow along with your project or even get responses on queries. With Timberline's portal, every question was answered, every day's accomplishments were noted, and the timeline was clear- and because of that, we never felt out-of-the-loop.
Thanks for building us this incredible new space, Timberline, and for doing it with class!

This has been the Best Company I have ever worked with as it pertains to working with the various Trades (Architecture, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical and Structural).
They are the contractor with all the trades who are subsidiaries to them. They worked with us to design our entire project and build to what was designed.
As we started talking to People Come First originally, Denny our salesman, was a huge help in coordinating our project kick-off and helping us keep the design within reason and had a great personality during the entire process.
The communication was great and the workers doing the work were meticulous in building to "MAKE IT RIGHT" or "DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME". Jack and Edwin were the main builders of the structures and hardware installation. When Christian filled in, he continued the expert workmanship for not working 100% on the project. All of these guys are responsible for the workmanship in the pictures. They continued to work with us when unforeseen issues arose so we could resolve them immediately.
Having a project manager there really helped for us to understand why things had to be a certain way and, in the end, it made it safe and built right. Thank You Mario for being there to keep the project moving forward.
During the construction phase we had various inspection signoffs required by the City and every inspection passed with Zero rework or corrections. In fact, the inspectors stated during the various inspections how much quality they were seeing in the work; this included the electrical.
The electrical guys, Don and Ace had to run over 80 feet of a 125A line from the original circuit breaker for our heaters, outlets, light and fans. They also corrected the original wiring for my outdoor lights and fountain that was installed. All these items passed inspection with no findings from the Inspectors.
What about the Costs? We had multiple change orders because of upgrades we decided to include so we increased the original cost by about 35%. It wasn't cheap, but if you are only looking to spend $50K-80K for a complete area that is 22x16 you will get what you pay for in the long run.
The materials they used were also quality. They did not get any of the wood or structural hardware from HD or Lowz. It was delivered by a reputable small company here in my area and who most locals go, to get quality wood and beams.
I would recommend them to anyone, but if you are looking to save money, then they are probably not your first choice.
If you want a no hassle company that provides workmanship and cares about the outcome and reputation, then have People Come First (PCF) build your dream deck.
They also have a model set-up in Kent off Central if you want to see what they do, or you can see some of my pictures of their work.
To end, the best part is the 5 Year Warrantee of their work and continued communication on our Project.

I needed to have my baseboard heater in my unit replaced & Rock Electric did amazing! From the initial consultation, ensuring that I had all the information that I needed, to going out and getting the work done - Brock & his team were very professional and communicative throughout the entire process! I would highly recommend their business to anybody that needs any electrical work done!
