I just bought a new townhome with cat5e but nothing was terminated so it was unusable. Found RIVAS TECH GROUP online and they were able to give me a quote within 24 hours of a site visit and action the installation really quickly and professionally. Very happy with the installation and they did a great job.

Ivan came out and gave me a bid to wire my house for Ethernet. He was very professional and understood the technology very well. He gave me a very reasonable quote. We didn't end up using Ivan because his lead time was 1m+ out and I needed the project done sooner. It was partially my fault for dragging my feet as well. If I had another chance, I would definitely use Ivan in the future!

Had them install wiring and my own equipment, was offered a subpar replacement for what I had purchased.
This has led to multiple issues with my overall setup and usability. Recommend them for wiring work but don’t ask for help. Go with what you know.

Ivan was super responsive and very cost effective with the solution he proposed. The folks at Rivas did an amazing job installing a home network for us. Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro, WiFi 6 Access Point, and running new lines of ethernet to various rooms. Also a new 40" cabinet. Everything works great and looks great. If you have a project, I highly recommend RIVAS!

I normally run a reasonably complex home network and my wife was very unhappy with our current networking cabinet (which was in our walk-in wardrobe). Our house had been pre-wired with cat5e cabling but many ports weren’t working or working poorly. Ivan responded quickly to my requests, he came out and assessed the situation. He talked me through some different cabling options (cat5e vs cat6 vs cat6a vs cat7), network hardware options (most of this I had predetermined), and camera / surveillance options. He put together a competitive and comprehensive quote and we went ahead.

All the work was done in a very professional manner and the quality of work was great. I was working from home during the installation and they were mindful of giving me notice when they’d need to do anything which would interrupt me (such as taking out the internet or doing work in the room I was using as an office).

The end result is a very nice looking network. I’ve got all my networking equipment nicely stashed away in networking cabinets, and I’m running a 10G network which includes multiple PoE devices. I’ve got ethernet ports everywhere I want them (including some in the crawl space under the house), my wifi coverage is great, and I’ve still got space in the network cabinet for future upgrades. Most importantly, my wife is happy now that our wardrobe is clear of electronics.

I’ve finally got the network I’ve always wanted. It looks great, and everything is clean and out of the way.

Ivan and his team worked with us to install CAT6 cabling and wireless access points throughout our (mid 80s) home.

He was incredibly helpful in figuring out what the best setup would be to get wireless coverage in the areas we need. He gave me several options in different price ranges and helped me understand what the different components were and the reasons they could be useful in our situation. He wasn’t pushy, and didn’t give me the hard sell, or suggest anything we didn’t need.

The installation was a little bumpy the first day — our house has an addition that made it difficult to get the cabling where it needed to go, but the team was super communicative about what problems they were encountering and what things they were trying. They figured out a clever solution that kept everything clean and hidden.

I’m extremely happy with the result. The gear all looks really nice and very professional. Our download speed went from around 25Mbps in most of the house to over 100Mbps everywhere, including the backyard.

Speaking of the backyard: the next day I noticed that I wasn’t getting data when my phone switched to the outside AP. I emailed Ivan and in like 5-10 minutes he had fixed the issue for me remotely.

I contacted Rivas TechGroup to upgrade my wireless infrastructure at the house now that I moved from my commercial space in downtown Seattle. Ivan, the owner, Rick up the phone and I was immediately placed at ease. He scheduled a walk-through, listened carefully to what I needed and provided a solution that was effective and within my budget. I'm very pleased with the product but really appreciated doing business with a peraon of integrity. Rivas Tech Group is my go to now for IT services.

Worked with Ivan and the team this last week. Was able to get the house wired and ready to go over 2 days. Troubleshooted my old home to make sure that I could get wired internet setup. A few snags here and there, but thats what happens when you dont know whats behind the walls! Ivan stayed late with me to ensure that everything was set up properly, and was very professional the entire time.

My wife and I had the pleasure to work with Ivan to install our network and surveillance camera system. We initially had another local company lined up to install Lorex security cameras that was recommended by the Lorex corporation. Thankfully, the company scheduled to install our cameras went out business. We were forced to conduct a local search to find a company qualified to professionally install security cameras.
We were able to obtain two (2) bids from the Rivas Techgroup and another well-known audio/video company in Bellevue, WA. We were initially going to go with the audio/video company since their bid was lower; however, after speaking with Ivan, we clearly were able to confirm the Rivas Techgroup knowledge of networks and security cameras. The other company was merely going to install the security cameras and we quickly realized that they did not have expertise in security cameras (hardware) and installing secured networks to run/manage/operate the security cameras.

At the recommendation of Ivan, we returned our Lorex security cameras and obtained a refund. The Lorex cameras were not the best and Ivan presented us with a commercial grade option. Although the 4k cameras were not cheap, we are very satisfied with their performance and how they integrate with our network. Ivan offered a solution to expand our Wi-Fi coverage and recommended installation of two access points. This is one example of something we did not know we needed. We wouldn't have received this recommendation/observation working with the other audio/video company.

Rivas Techgroup was very accommodating to our work schedule and performed the install on a Saturday, which they typically don't work on weekends. Ivan and the team arrived on time and performed quality professional work and updated us every step of the way. There were no surprises and we enjoyed working with the Rivas Techgroup. We wholeheartedly recommend this company to address your security camera installation and network needs!

Due to Covid, I, like many others, find themselves working full time from home through a yet to be determined timeline when or if I'll work from an office again in the near future. And with multiple hours spend online and in countless MSFT Teams or Zoom meetings, I needed to have a network connection that was consistently strong and reliable. Plus my husband loves his online gaming. We didn't want to have multiple routers and feet of network cables stapled to the trim along the bottom of our walls throughout our home. And WIFI can't always cut it. So I searched the internet for companies that installed home networks near me. Thankfully Ivan and his Rivas Tech group company came back in the results. Once I saw he had so many 5 star reviews I had to reach out. I called, Ivan answered and we set up a time he could come to our home to give us estimate. When Ivan showed up he took the time to listen to our networking needs and we walked through the house. He had a couple ideas of what he wanted to do and asked for a couple days for him to write it up and send me an estimate. Less than 48 hours I had an email back from Ivan with a description of the work he wanted to do and a list of all the equipment. That list also included links to the products online so I could research what he wanted to install. We accepted his proposal and we were able to land on a time which worked for all of our schedules for the installation. The first day of the install Nick and Orlando showed up to lay the cable and place the enclosure that would house all the networking gear. The 2nd day Nick and Orlando came back to connect everything together and configure the network for us to use. These guys did a great job. They were both very professional and friendly and communicated with us throughout the entire process, taking time to answer all my questions. Having a built in home network is something more people are probably thinking about due to Covid. And if you are, don't look any farther than Ivan and his Rivas Techgroup. 5 stars all the way!
