Worked with Ivan and the team this last week. Was able to get the house wired and ready to go over 2 days. Troubleshooted my old home to make sure that I could get wired internet setup. A few snags here and there, but thats what happens when you dont know whats behind the walls! Ivan stayed late with me to ensure that everything was set up properly, and was very professional the entire time.

Working with Ivan and his team was really easy. I shopped the job around and Rivas came in much more reasonably than the competition. The team that performed the work was right on time, was very professional, and most importantly set-up a super solid network in my home. Rivas Techgroup was great to work with, from the owner, Ivan, to the crew. They were flexible, came on time, and were pleasant to deal with. They installed wiring and access points for me throughout my office and a series of warehouses, and upgraded my network cabinet and switches. My wife and I had the pleasure to work with Ivan to install our network and surveillance camera system. We initially had another local company lined up to install Lorex security cameras that was recommended by the Lorex corporation. Thankfully, the company scheduled to install our cameras went out business. We were forced to conduct a local search to find a company qualified to professionally install security cameras.
We were able to obtain two (2) bids from the Rivas Techgroup and another well-known audio/video company in Bellevue, WA. We were initially going to go with the audio/video company since their bid was lower; however, after speaking with Ivan, we clearly were able to confirm the Rivas Techgroup knowledge of networks and security cameras. The other company was merely going to install the security cameras and we quickly realized that they did not have expertise in security cameras (hardware) and installing secured networks to run/manage/operate the security cameras.

At the recommendation of Ivan, we returned our Lorex security cameras and obtained a refund. The Lorex cameras were not the best and Ivan presented us with a commercial grade option. Although the 4k cameras were not cheap, we are very satisfied with their performance and how they integrate with our network. Ivan offered a solution to expand our Wi-Fi coverage and recommended installation of two access points. This is one example of something we did not know we needed. We wouldn't have received this recommendation/observation working with the other audio/video company.

Rivas Techgroup was very accommodating to our work schedule and performed the install on a Saturday, which they typically don't work on weekends. Ivan and the team arrived on time and performed quality professional work and updated us every step of the way. There were no surprises and we enjoyed working with the Rivas Techgroup. We wholeheartedly recommend this company to address your security camera installation and network needs!

Due to Covid, I, like many others, find themselves working full time from home through a yet to be determined timeline when or if I'll work from an office again in the near future. And with multiple hours spend online and in countless MSFT Teams or Zoom meetings, I needed to have a network connection that was consistently strong and reliable. Plus my husband loves his online gaming. We didn't want to have multiple routers and feet of network cables stapled to the trim along the bottom of our walls throughout our home. And WIFI can't always cut it. So I searched the internet for companies that installed home networks near me. Thankfully Ivan and his Rivas Tech group company came back in the results. Once I saw he had so many 5 star reviews I had to reach out. I called, Ivan answered and we set up a time he could come to our home to give us estimate. When Ivan showed up he took the time to listen to our networking needs and we walked through the house. He had a couple ideas of what he wanted to do and asked for a couple days for him to write it up and send me an estimate. Less than 48 hours I had an email back from Ivan with a description of the work he wanted to do and a list of all the equipment. That list also included links to the products online so I could research what he wanted to install. We accepted his proposal and we were able to land on a time which worked for all of our schedules for the installation. The first day of the install Nick and Orlando showed up to lay the cable and place the enclosure that would house all the networking gear. The 2nd day Nick and Orlando came back to connect everything together and configure the network for us to use. These guys did a great job. They were both very professional and friendly and communicated with us throughout the entire process, taking time to answer all my questions. Having a built in home network is something more people are probably thinking about due to Covid. And if you are, don't look any farther than Ivan and his Rivas Techgroup. 5 stars all the way!

It was a pleasure working with the Rivas crew! The security system installation went perfectly and the crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. They set all the equipment and wiring up very neatly, explained how the systems work and made sure we were happy with everything before leaving. Rivas Technology Group just completed our complexes upgrade to their DoorBird System. The technicians were great, understood the system and we were ready to go by end of day two as promised! They are very responsive when you contact them. We couldn't be more pleased!

We struggled for 6 months trying to get decent wifi in our new house. Many, many frustrating hours with Comcast. We contacted Rivas Techgroup and Ivan came out to evaluate our house and make recommendations within a couple days. We really appreciated that he clearly explained all the options/costs and expected benefits. The crew that came out to do the installation was incredibly professional and dealt with several unexpected issues (due to builder) to give us a solid, fast solution for being able to effectively work from home. We're very happy!

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Nick when he came to reprogram our Control4 remote for our entertainment system. The programming was necessary to accommodate cancellation of Comcast services and replacing our TV with a smart TV.

The plan was to retain all the older electronics we have (Laser player, Sony player, record player, tape player, and CD 5 disk
exchanger/player). Turned out the reprogram was a little tricky. But, Nick persisted until it all was working with the new smart TV and no Comcast.

My past experience with a company similar to yours, when I updated my entertainment system, was very unsatisfactory. They did not complete the contracted work, and when asked to do so, wanted to be paid additional money to return. This was not the case with your company (Rivas Tech Group).

Nick is one of the best advertisements for the quality and top business practices of Rivas Tech. He is always friendly, makes a customer feel that they are important, not to mention quite skilled at this type of work.

I'm super into technology and had been looking to install Ethernet jacks in my home. I had only found out about Ivan and Rivas through other online reviews, all of them excellent, so I hope this adds to the pile of them others see as well.

1) Ivan came for an initial onsite evaluation and explanation of his services and it was clear he was genuinely enthusiastic about the work that he was doing as opposed to other contractors where they may treat it as "just a job"; from explaining what he and his team were capable of doing, even just to geeking about some of the tech I had in my home, it made me feel comfortable about doing business with him.

2) Even being down a normal man in his team, the team that came onsite to do the work was professional, friendly, and really just nice to be around. I only ended up really talking with one of the installers, but from just swapping stories to explaining how the installation was being done, I felt good about having his team in my home. Ivan himself was onsite later in the day both days to inspect work and begin working on installing the UniFi hardware and get the software up and running. On day two, the team stayed into overtime to make sure the work got done.

3) Visually, the work looks great. Two conduits on each side of the house to bring the ethernet cables from the attic to the lower level of the split-level home, all the inside wall jacks look nice and neat.

4) Even though the team was unable to complete two of the wire drops I wanted for logistical reasons involving the architecture of the house, they were kind enough to not only try multiple times, but explain what the blockers were in those cases. (Luckily, I can run one MoCA adapter in the living room- all set there!)

Everything I had installed:
- 3 UniFi Wireless AC Lite Access Points
- Four Ethernet wiring drops with two ports each
- UniFi CloudKey
- Patch Panel

I needed to fix the mess of a wiring closet I inherited when I moved. After reading other reviews I called Ivan, and I am so happy I did. Ivan and his team were great. They completed the wiring of the whole house, cleaned up the wiring closet, added an additional rack for networking equipment, and ran additional lines for cameras. They were speedy, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, personable, and above else, just honestly good people. Doing business with Ivan and the rest of the folks at Rivas TechGroup was an absolute Joy. I will be calling him again when I need to upgrade. I just recently moved into an over 100 yr old home, and I was nervous about getting all of the internet setup cleanly with an additional unit out back. I contacted Rivas, and Ivan came out the next day. We went over my ideas for the project, and he broke it down easily and discussed multiple options. One of the notes Ivan talked about that really sold me was their process for cable management and how smooth everything looked, especially in this old house. After that, Ivan sent me a few estimates with options, and I got to pick out my dream network work essentially. They came out in about a week, said it'd take about two days, and started work. They came in a two man team and knocked out all the work in a single day! Ivan and Nick were respectable, prompt, and kept us informed throughout the whole process. They ran a line out to my additional unit, and made the home network look clean and non-intrusive to the house. I will most likely be using their services again, and I'd suggest their work for any home tech project!!! (Tell em I sent ya!)

The team at Rivas did a phenomenal job with my home network install. Moving into our new house, we wanted to make sure we had a network setup equipped to handle my wife and I's somewhat excessive usage, and Ivan's team certainly delivered on our needs. Ivan had a fantastic turnaround time getting me the initial estimate and within the week his team was onsite performing the upgrades. Our install consisted of two WiFi 6 APs, ethernet drops in every bedroom, and the 27U server cabinet mounted in the garage with Ubiquiti hardware. The pictures of the end result speak for themselves - a small business/enterprise quality set up in the comfort of my own home :)

Had Rivas come out and install a PoE camera system, mounting cameras at 4 locations around the outside of my home and routing network cable to a new point. They were fast, professional, and did an overall great job. There was one issue with a faulty connection on one camera, but they were able to come back out 'extremely' quickly to diagnose/remedy the issue.

Their sales team was very communicative, and their estimates are very clear and lay everything out point by point in a very easy-to-digest way.

Overall super impressed, and will definitely be calling Rivas again for future networking needs!

I recently reached out to Rivas TechGroup for a somewhat complex ethernet installation in my vintage home. Despite the unique challenges presented by the age and layout of the house, the team handled the task with remarkable expertise.

They skillfully installed ethernet ports in two separate rooms located on different floors. In addition to this, they ran wiring to an external point on my property, enabling me to set up a Power over Ethernet (PoE) camera. All connections were neatly centralized to a dedicated room in my basement, which houses my networking gear. The team also efficiently rerouted the coaxial connection to this hub, facilitating a seamless connection to my Xfinity modem.

The professionalism displayed throughout the installation process was commendable. The team’s communication was consistently prompt and clear, ensuring I was informed at every step. This is an admittedly long overdue review, but what better review than one three years after the work was done?

When we first moved to the area we wanted to have our home wired for ethernet with drops to multiple rooms including installing multiple wireless APs and connecting up PoE security cameras. We ended up going with Rivas Tech Group for this work and couldn't have been happier. From the work itself to the cost of the installation, we were extremely glad we went with these guys.

From start to finish, Ivan was responsive, thoughtful, thorough, and patient through all our questions and every stage of planning out the build. The installation itself went excellently; his team cleanly ran every drop, mounted our equipment rack, and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. The team was friendly, courteous, and helpful at every stage. They worked hard to make sure everything was cleanly done, and made extra efforts on our behalf - for example valiantly trying to locate a hidden doorbell transformer to ensure our smart doorbell was operating correctly. While they were unsuccessful here, it is no fault of theirs and the effort was greatly appreciated.

So here we are three years after the install, and every line still works, our security cameras have been an excellent part of keeping our home secure and giving us peace of mind - and there hasn't been a single issue with any of the work done - not a one.
