I worked with CHC remodel to do a full remodel of a newly purchased fixer upper. Specifically, we worked on remodeling the kitchen, bathroom, flooring, and fixing all the damaged drywalls. In addition, CHC converted the unfinished basement into a finished living space which can be rented separately. This idea was suggested by Siamak from CHC and will provide us with additional rental income. The work was done very quickly, they stayed within the proposed time and budget which is very hard to come by these days. I appreciate all the team's hard work and couldn't be happier. Will definitely use CHC remodel for our next project.

We were introduced to Siamak, the proprietor of Contemporary Home Construction when we bought our home which was a real fixer-upper. We have since had big and small projects done by Siamak and his team, including the addition of a bedroom, bathroom remodeling, retaining wall construction and home exterior remodeling. I am happy to say that we have had nothing but positive experiences throughout the process. Siamak and his crew are all thoroughly professional, courteous and very accessible. They approach any project as though it were their own and give it the level of personal care and attention that a home owner might. This means that they never compromise on quality of material or labor, and take great care that there are no loose ends (e.g. they will immediately call attention to say, a leaky pipe they may discover during the course of a remodel and immediately figure out the best options to take care of the problem). And just like a home owner, they weigh costs and benefits and are honest about them, thus balancing looks and design with cost-effectiveness and practicality. Siamak, in particular brings both his own vast experience in the business and a thoughtfulness to each project that I have rarely seen in any industry, let alone construction. My husband and I often talk about how lucky we are to have found Contemporary Home Construction, and we have referred them to many of our friends, several of whom have had similar remodeling projects done by the company to great satisfaction. We bought a home in Redmond which needed a lot of renovation work like removing the popcorn ceiling,existing flooring removal and new floor installation,adding a brand new kitchen including cabinet installation, wall removal to make it a great room, bathroom remodeling, entry door installation and whole house exterior and interior painting. Siam worked with us through out the project giving ideas and suggestions. Also allowing us to choose our products and help us cutting the cost being a very big project. He gave price list for every single work. We compared the cost with a couple of others but Siam seemed to be reasonable. Also others came up for a minimum 5month timeline but Siam was able to complete within 2.5 months though he had a couple of other active projects. Excellent commitment and work.

Siamak from CHC remodel has done remodel of our rambler, he has provided best estimates and ideas which increased the value of home and our living experience. It involved removing couple of fireplaces, flooring, adding a beam, wall and moving countertop. He has great expertise at estimating, planning and executing the plan.

Recently we had water leakage in bathroom and Siamak team did a great job identifying the leak and fix it in timely & with quality.
And had another project to replace Post in garage and team did a great job there too. Looking forward to have this team for more re-modeling work in future!

Siamak is a reasonably priced contractor and he claims to have a MS in civil engineering. In my opinion, he knows what’s good for your house structurally and also knows what adds value for your house in long term. I had hired him twice (2020 and 2022) and he did a good job at my house both the times. I’d definitely hire him for future projects.
In terms of expectations, his initial quote is just the money you pay him and it has been fairly accurate. You should expect additional expenses for buying materials like sliding door, vanity, toilets, showers, etc.
If I have to nitpick, the only thing I didn’t like was the timing. Our projects went a week beyond the scheduled completion time and hence my 4 stars.

CHC completed a 3 month renovation of my home at the beginning of 2022. I found them to be very reasonably priced, and very easy to work with. So far, I don't have any complaints about the quality of their work.

Some things that stood out for me:
1. The communication is very prompt. I was able to get a response either immediately or within an hour or two.
2. This was my first remodel, and Siamak was very helpful and patient with answering my questions and helping me pick out all the materials. He also walked me through various options, even if it meant reducing the amount of work.
3. I have been able to provide feedback and get some follow up work done with no issues.

I would definitely recommend their services, and will likely use their expertise for future projects.

I asked Siamak for helping checking a potential bathroom/garage leakage as well as replacing patio door. He’s quite responsive and offered inspection & estimate real quick. Also he offer several options for the project and walked me through details for my questions and concerns. Price was fair and quality is good. Would recommend and reuse for future home projects :)

CHC has done several construction projects for me over the past several years. The projects have included: a kitchen remodel, a bathroom remodel, a sunroom addition, removing an interior chimney, installing windows and painting the entire interior of my house. Siamak did a good job for us with remodels and repairs and found us cost effective solutions and ideas. He does multiple projects at the same time so sometimes scheduling can be an issue but he took care of all time critical work without any delay.

Siamak and his team were quite responsive, professional and overall great to work with. The end results too are fantastic (powder room remodel) - quality is supreme and they delivered.

The crew were also very quality driven, and courteous. They even cleaned up each day before they left - this among other things, made the process much less intrusive than what I’ve experienced with other contractors.

Similar to several other reviews here, we had a very positive experience working with Siamak and his team. We evaluated a few quotes for a recent remodeling project and CHC's quote was far more reasonable and clearly itemized. What sealed the deal for us was Siamak's willingness to answer a ton of questions and visit our place a couple of times to fully understand the scope even before we signed the contract.
His team was efficient, and where they needed guidance/oversight Siamak was always around. Siamak ensured he sent over one of his guys to fix some dry wall work that we weren't quite happy with. Overall, the team did a great job.
