Wow!!! Costumer service is a 5 + Star. Adrienne and his staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and respectful of our property. He did a fabulous job on our carpets and slate floors. He is also coming back to seal the slate today after noticing that it is in need of sealer. He did not try to sale me on any unnecessary products or services. It is easy to see that he enjoys his work and educating home owners on their flooring and up keep. Thank you so much for a job well done!!

We rented a house in La Center while we found property and built our new house. We had the carpet cleaned by another company when we moved in. That was a poor job compared to La Center Carpet cleaning. We soooooo wish we would have used La Center carpet cleaning when we moved in. We left the carpet at the rental house much much cleaner when we moved out vs. when we moved in because La Center Carpet cleaning did a phenomenal job when we moved out. I wish we would have known about La Center Carpet Cleaning when we moved in. The owner, Adrian, was kind, understanding, and professional. I highly recommend this company!!

One of our dogs got into a package that was delivered while we were on vacation. That package happened to contain printer ink cartridges. Long-story-short... ink went everywhere, including the carpet. My heart sank when I saw the biggest spot: a dark blue blotch the size of a dinner plate in our living room. I called Adrian at La Center Carpet Cleaning and sent him some pictures of the spots. He came out within a couple of days and spent over an hour working to get the stains out. Low-and-behold, the blue stain had returned by the next morning! I contacted Adrian and he promptly setup a time to come back and work on it again. After another 1.5 hours, about half of the remaining stain lifted and Adrian is coming back one last time to (hopefully) get the rest of it out. All of this for around $100. While I wish my dog hadn't done the deed to begin with, at least this cleanup experience has been easy and valuable. I highly recommend this service!

UPDATE: Adrian eventually got the entire stain out. That is some serious customer service.

Our family has worked with Adam Lake;s Contracting Services over the past year on household projects big and small. We continue to work with him because he does great work! He completed a front porch decking project very successfully in 5 days, doing much of it himself. He has been very helpful in providing constructive suggestions and making recommendations - on projects about which we know nothing! He is a pleasure to work with - on your largest projects down to replacing ligt bulbs!

We were putting our house on the market on a tight timeline and had a serious list to get through: painting, garage floor patching, new deck railings. On the strength of neighbor recommendations, we called Lakes General Contracting. Adam came by, took a look, and gave us a reasonable estimate and a start date.
He started a few days later and didn't let up. The work ethic, the attention to detail, the whole approach, everything got done, and done right.

I was a master mechanic and recognize excellence in workmanship. I will have him back again and again. Whatever you ask of him, sit back and relax as it will turn out better than you ever dreamed.

There had been a water leak around the window frame, concentrated in the corner of the inside window sill. Adam came to determine where the problem was originating. He checked inside and outside as thoroughly as could be done without tearing the frame apart. Have an estimate of what he thought he’d need to do to repair it. After accepting his estimate I was put right on his schedule and two days later he was at the door ready to fix it. He found the problem, repaired it in a timely manner - working outside part of the time in 20-30 degree weather. He did a wonderful job, fixed the problem, and cleaned up leaving it as if nothing had been disturbed. I will definitely use him again if I have need of any repair work or any remodel projects. He gets a 10 on my rating!

I had a completely blocked drain and Adam came out after hours on the same day. Took time to explain how I can avoid this happening again. Very professional and friendly. I am planning on using them again.

Adam does great all around work, with excellent attention to detail. He has done large and small projects in our home for 4 years, and has been a real lifesaver for both the weird and ordinary. Very experienced and knowledgable in many areas, with a great attitude.

Adam has done a couple of projects for us and did a great job. The most recent was repairing a collapsing dining room subfloor that had been improperly altered by a previous contractor for the former owner of our home. It became apparent when the flooring started to "sag" when walked upon. It would have collapsed if we kept walking on it! He repaired the previous poor workmanship and the floor is now solid. He spent the better part of the day "under the floor" in the tight crawl space. He is prompt, clean, meticulous, very knowledgeable, and looks out for our interests. His rates are very reasonable for such good work. Tina was great in running the office. Adam responded quickly to our first call assessed the problem and solution quickly. This was one week before Christmas! We will use him again if the need arises.

I contacted Lakes Contracting to do a couple of small jobs around our property (removing a chain link fence and replacing an exterior door on our pump house). Adam and his crew did a fine job at a fair price, and I will definitely use them again when the opportunity arises. I can highly recommend them.
