I had a complicated landscaping job that involved two years of working closely with the City of Lacey for complicated specifications and requirements. Josh was unbelievably patient in providing multiple complicated quotes as the specifications were repeatedly changed on him. We could not break ground until two years after the first visit. He was personable and professional and his team all had the same personal rapport. They go out of their way to make sure that you are happy with the job. The product knowledge is unbelievable and they will recommend the best product based on your needs, instead of what is easiest for the crew. The Mint Landscapes team is reliable, timely and a great with communication. This was not just landscaping. There were several aspects of the job that were way beyond landscaping alone. Mint Landscapes handled every step with stride and did an outstanding job. I am so happy I chose them for the job!

I recently hired Mint Landscapes to tear down a failing deck and replace it with a patio in a small, open yard. Mint provided me with several options that included lovely pavers, seating walls, planting areas and beautiful landscape lighting. The design and sketches provided by their landscape professional were exciting and creative. Price points varied around building materials and all were reasonable to the scale of the project. The tear down was efficient and tidy. It was amazing to watch the patio project emerge. The Mint crew was highly skilled, reliable, always very respectful of my and neighbors’ property and a delight to interact with. Josh McCarty, Mint’s owner, oversaw the project and communicated with me often and effectively: no surprises and total honesty. The completed project is delightful. Friends and neighbors are impressed with the imaginative use of a small space and quality craftsmanship. I can’t recommend Mint Landscapes highly enough to anyone looking to create a beautiful outdoor space.

Hired Mint Landscape to install our front yard irrigation system. Josh’s crew were extremely efficient with installing the irrigation system and went above and beyond to keep the job site clean and safe. Extra touch of seeding the irrigation trenches afterwards.

I love working with Mint! I have used Mint for 3 projects over the last 8 months: lawn rehab, turf removal and flower bed installation, and sprinkler installation. Josh and all his crew members are great to work with. Super timely, excellent attention to detail, and very patient with all my questions. Plus, you barely know his team is around and it is not disruptive to your life to have them doing work. I will use them for all my landscaping needs and highly recommend them.

Our HOA uses MINT for the neighborhood landscaping services, and I have to say, these folks are the hardest working and most considerate and dedicated people ever! I appreciate their attention to detail and ability to accommodate preference and need. Today, I saw a couple of gentlemen trimming a neighbor's bush, and I asked them if they'd be willing to cut a hedge back enough that I could open my backyard gate without interference. Without any hesitation or resistance, they came down to my house with their tools in hand and took care of it right away without delay. I am so thrilled and beyond grateful for their service, and I just wanted to show my appreciation for their hard work and extra efforts. Keep up the great job and superior customer service! Mint recently came out to tackle a backyard that wouldn't drain correctly and a nearly destroyed lawn - while installing sprinklers in the front and back. Devin, Jaime, and Jose worked diligently and went the extra mile every step of the way to ensure the project was completed to our satisfaction - including extra little things here and there to make the presentation of the lawn perfect. Great communication and the job was done well - highly recommend considering Mint!

Mint has been wonderful to work with from start to finish! We had a vague idea of what we wanted, and changed our minds several times during the planning process. Erin developed a beautiful design for a paver pathway and a redesign of the boundaries of our grass. Her expertise is clear and our backyard is much more beautiful thanks to her thoughtful design after listening to our very loose ideas. Josh was so kind and accommodating, never making us feel like a burden for asking clarifying questions along the way. These qualities carried through the entire project including with the install crew, Devin and Austin, who were great to work with. They communicated with us every day, answered any questions kindly, and were just easy to talk to and fun to be around. They also obviously really care about the work they do. There are so many examples, but one that stood out is that they left a sleeve to easily pull through electrical if I wanted to add lighting along the pathway later. So thoughtful! We’ve done many home improvement projects over the years with several contractors and have *never* had such an easy experience. We already have a spring project planned with Mint and have recommended them to other neighbors looking to do a similar project!

Based on a referral from a reputable source, I chose Mint Landscapes to replace 4 lawn sprinkler valves and remove auto drains due to a leak in the main water line. Repair necessitated the entire replacement of the 4 valves and associated PVC plumbing. I was very fortunate to have Chuck B. assigned to the task. Chuck demonstrated an extraordinary skill to completely rebuild the intricate arrangement of PVC connections located in a confined space (see attached photo). The project required tremendous patience to overcome challenges encountered during the repair. Chuck met each of those challenges by applying his extensive knowledge and job experience. I had the pleasure of witnessing Chuck's work during portions of the project and developed the utmost confidence in his ability to achieve a successful test of the completed repair.
