McCarthy Electric came to my home to add a 250v outlet so I can charge my smart car. They were incredibly timely and responsive, not to mention beat multiple other quotes by a minimum of $400. I can't recommend working with them highly enough! Thanks for all of your hard work guys. You made my life SO much easier with that upgrade on my home.

The McCarthy Electric Crew (Dimitry, Kyle, and Christian) were excellent. The job completed here included: the installation of can lights (12) and ceiling fans (2). They were easy to work with, and I felt like I was part of the crew. Very coordinated group, and extremely polite. Clean-up after the job was also quite good. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to rehire this crew for future projects.

I had issues with losing electrical power at my home. Was initially quoted a VERY expensive project by another company and McCarthy Electric came to the rescue! They did a thorough assessment of the issue instead of going for the large project and dollars like the other company did. They really pin pointed the issue and ended up helping us save over $7,000 from the original quote. Nevertheless, our issue was major and required a full day of two technicians to get it fixed. They were able to fit us in their busy schedule because they understood that we were in an emergency situation. Quality of work was top notch and we really felt that they had the interest of their clients front and center as a priority. It’s been over 1 months since the job was completed and flickering lights are all gone. I am a McCarthy Electric customer for life!

Dmitriy and Neil performed the service on my residence were incredibly professional, timely and hard working. They did very quality work.They installed the wiring for our tankless water heater and installed an upgraded breaker panel, which also required installing upgraded grounding rods. The work was done very timely and on time. They even left my place cleaner than when they arrived! Everything passed inspection with flying colors. And the best part, it cost considerably less than what I was anticipating!

We have only amazing things to say about McCarthy. They completely re-wired our house, added extra features that we wanted and brought everything up to code including a new electrical panel. We were able to add extra features to our home because they were so well priced. From making appointments to paying everything went very smoothly and we would definitely recommend them to anyone needing any type of electrical work done.

To say that McCarthy Electric was amazing is a major understatement! They were prompt responding to our request for a quote, they were professional and efficient getting us scheduled and coordinating with PUD for our panel upgrade, and the guys who came out and completed the work were incredible. We had 4 days of work completed (a full panel upgrade, several new gfci outlets, overhead lights and switches in 3 rooms) and they were not only the best on pricing but the quality and pride they took in their work was beyond impressive. I would like to personally thank our techs Preston and AJ who went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get our house safe for our family and were all around wonderful to work with. You have secured loyal customers for life!

We had to have a 240-volt oven range outlet replaced and updated to meet current code and also to be able to plug in our new range. That required running a new 50-amp wire from the electrical panel to the kitchen.

The guys who came out were great, they minimized the ceiling cuts needed to run the wire and left them temporarily but neatly patched, fixed a minor but unrelated problem that cropped up during the work, and the final price met the estimate.

I'd definitely use McCarthy Electric again, and I can recommend them to others!

When recently updating my home’s 1963 electrical system, Ryann fully explained the needed changes indoor and outdoor. He then listened to my concerns as to the aesthetics in the placement of a new large gray metal box on the front of the house. He changed his original plans and the box is now in a slightly less obtrusive placement. Nice. Likewise, inside the house, he explained the changes to be made and respected my concerns. This is my second time using this company. Both times they provided excellent customer service.
Feb 2025 - Third time, actually a fourth time, using McCarthy Electrics. Everytime they are excellent. Last two events were minor but they quickly came and resolved the issues. I'll call them again and suggest you do, too.

McCarthy Electric was recommended by my contractor. Given that I have trusted him for three kitchen remodels as well as various other updates to a few homes, I made the call. McCarthy Electric did not disappoint. They were early for both appointments. Their work was top notch and the guys I met were all great, professional, and highly skilled. I recommend them 100%.

The staff of Mccarthy Electric were all very courteous and helpful. The electricians installed a new circuit breaker box and ensured that every switch was correctly labeled and went above and beyond by repairing a damaged outlet they found! Awesome service! I would highly recommend them!

We had a wall heater that would consistently turn on even if we had the thermostat set to off. I put a message out to my local fb group about an electrician and Ryann responded quickly and was able to get a technician out to us within a few hours. It was fixed extremely quickly and our technician Nate, was knowledgeable and friendly! We will be recommending them to our friends and anyone looking for an electrician!

Fair, honest, great service. We had McCarthy come out for a circuit outage in our home and the technician was prompt and courteous. The situation seemed to be repaired, but 6 months later we had a problem with the same circuit. The company was quick to respond to my request and sent someone out that found a bad outlet on the same circuit. The problem was corrected with no additional charge to us.

McCarthy was great! John came out to give an estimate. Very nice and patient as he explained what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem very quickly, gave us a great price on the work. Even better: their technician, Avery, was able to come out just an hour later to do the work! Everything done in a day, and for a great price!

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, we thought we needed a full rewire in our 60s condo. It would have been easy to sell me the job but honestly and integrity do still exist. I'm so grateful and will definitely call again in the future.

We now have our dedicated 20 amp circuit for our new mini-split heat pump run right to where we need it - along with the service outlet. Everything done very clean and professionally at a very fair price.

Today, (April 25, 2025), I had my first encounter with McCarthy Electric in the form of a competent, courteous and technically capable young man named Kyle who came to our home to troubleshoot a (supposed) problem with a fan in a wall heater. Kyle quickly inspected the unit and demonstrated that the fan was in fact operating normally hence no expensive repair or replacement was required. But should we ever wish to replace this wall heater, he produced an cost estimate for this service which could then be applied at some future date. He then inspected (at my request) our breaker box, which is fairly antiquated, and produced a detailed replacement cost estimate on the spot. And all of this was done without any sales pressure, which is always much appreciated. Based on my experience today, I would definitely contact the folks at McCarthy Electric for any electrical problems which I need to have resolved in the future.
