Home Services reviews in Lynnwood, Washington

Very poor service, unprofessional, I set up a time for estimate, I wasn't home, he talked to my neighbor when I wasn't home, don't know the neighbor. Mr. Jordan Harris(tree person) never sent estimate and instead he gave an estimate to this unknown neighbor, I sent a letter saying if they ever come to my property they will be charged with criminal trespassing. Look around some more for better professionals.

I had Seattle Tree Preservation out to stabalize and save a beloved tree on my property in Seattle. They are the most knowlegable and experienced service around and their rates were fair and competitive. I would certainly use them again in the future if needed.

We lived in Seattle for 19 years. I used Seattle Tree Preservation exclusively during that time, mostly for delivery of wood chips but also recommended them to other people who needed an arborist for tree assessment or management. I know the owner personally; I know several of their certified arborists. I really wonder about some of the negative reviews on here.

Super easy to work with and did a great job cleaning up as well. We had several trees removed and a lot of aesthetic trimming and they handled everything with professionalism. Definitely using again when we need more trimming work!

Bartlett came out promptly to bid the pruning I wanted done. The person who came out said he would have a bid to me in 20 minutes. I never received a bid even after I emailed them twice. The professional response would be "not interested" as oppose to ghosting a potential client. .

Bartlett Tree Experts did a great job for us! They were timely and accessible in their communication, prompt to the appointment and helpful in follow-through after the fact, especially when we needed additional work. The specialist who worked with us, Daniel is knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend Bartlett Tree Experts.

Everything was perfect. From Connor doing estimate and scheduling right away. Came within 1 week after estimate. This was after huge snow/wind storm that crated ahuge mess with huge limbs. Connor super knowledgeable on trees, diseases etc...
Two tree cutters came out and took care of fallen limbs and rest of list on proposal. Cleaned up thoroughly. Would highly recommend their tree services!!! -
These guys were awesome!! Its the first time I have used them. They were right on time for bidding and right on time for the scheduled work. Very professional, excellent job, very good on clean up, there bid was slightly less than other tree companies. I will definitely call them again when needed. Thanks again Bartlet!!

These guys did a GREAT job pruning two large trees. They double checked with me about view lines, respected my wishes for a questionable branch to stay, cleaned up beautifully and left me with lovely trees. Last night we had a major windstorm. In the past our yard would have been littered with branches, but there wasn't a branch down this morning. If you need work done, hire them, they are phenomenal.

I am puzzled by the poor reviews. We have used Seattle Tree Preservation for all of our tree work and they have always done a fast, efficient, and professional job. Today they had to remove 2 130+ foot Dutch Elm disease trees - a huge job with surrounding houses, fences, trees and other landscaping. The trees came down without a hitch in the 9 hour time frame, including set up and cleanup. The crew was responsive and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any job, large or small.

Dixon and a crew of about 5-6 men came out to prune and shape five Japanese maples and clean up a Douglas fir that had dead wood and branches overhanging a power line. The estimator told us Dixon was the person with the most familiarity in shaping and exposing the branching pattern of Japanese maples so we specifically requested him for this service.
The wait time between receiving our bid and having the work done was almost 12 weeks but the crew did an excellent job and we would hire them again. It's best to get them to give you a bid as early in the season as possible, probably January or February would be ideal. We didn't get our bid until late March 2015 and their work schedule didn't allow us to be serviced until late June. -
Bartlett Tree Experts have gone above and beyond in EVERY way to provide the most professional work and tree care I could imagine. They've worked on our large red cedar twice and both times I've been totally blown away by the crew and service. We have been working with the city to have our new power line dropped through the tree (a very tricky project requiring approval from the city) and Bartlett has done a phenomenal job of ensuring that only the necessary branches/leaders were cut, the tree was left un-wounded and without a large hole in the middle of it. I highly recommend them to anyone needing tree services. They'll definitely be my go-to tree service from here on! Could not be more pleased and impressed by the people working for this company and the care they have for trees. Best of the best.

Excellent work for a good price. Two guys showed up right on time with a bunch of equipment. They worked like crazy for 1.5 hours and suddenly we had a whole new Apple tree. Good communication, made sure we both loved it before they drove off. Took all the branches and sawdust with them.
First heard about Bartlett because my elderly neighbour was worried about her tall trees and they were explaining why her trees are fine - for free. Straight forward people and easy to work with. Will be calling Bartlett again. -
They were professional, very easy to work with, responsive via phone and email, and punctual. They asked me for feedback afterwards and they gave me important advice on how to keep my trees healthy. They cleaned up thoroughly, they even moved my lawn gnome that I had left in the yard so that it wouldn't get knocked down by a tree branch. The person who came to give me an estimate and the folks who did the tree trimming and pruning were just fantastic. I would recommend them (and my neighbors are happy too!)

This company is wonderful. We used them for years and they were always competitively priced. Their crew was always professional and polite. They did a great job and left our yard looking immaculate with all of the debris picked up before they left. Over the years we had trees removed, trimmed and pruned. They always knew what they were doing and our yard looked great. I highly recommend them without reservation. We recently moved to a house that doesn't have any large trees yet but I am looking forward to the day that we call Seattle Tree Preservation again, once our trees have grown up.

Bartlett Tree Experts gets a 5-star rating by us. We were very pleased with their service from the initial consultation to the final cleanup. Conor Ghaffari, one of their arborists evaluated our trees and provided valuable information about the health of our trees and recommendations for removing limbs to improve clearance with our house, improve safety, improve wildlife habitat, and improve tree health. He also recommended bracing a tree that had two primary stems and treatment for insects that had infected some of our trees. We learned a lot from Conor.
Communication with Conor, the field crew and the office staff was excellent. Emails and phone calls were returned promptly, and field crew were friendly and accommodating. Conor wrote out a detailed scope that assured us that we had the same understanding of the work to be done and the cost. I have recommended Bartlett to neighbors and friends. A++ -
Bartlett's did a wonderful job on all our trees, from professional consultation (Sumner), feeding and pest control (Wesley), to pruning and cleanup (Caleb, Kyra, Russell, and Lilly.) The crews were meticulous and careful not to damage plantings and fencing, even removing bird feeders from the work area. Thanks again!

They claim to have 9 certified arborists on staff on their website, yet the butchery of the hedges protecting my Mother from trespassers was horrific. There was no way that a certified arborist would have done such an unprofessional job. I would NEVER recommend them!! I wanted to give no stars, but to post I am forced to click at least 1 star! Again, I would NEVER recommend them!!!!!

I had a situation with a tree in my yard that is on the property line between my house and my neighbor’s. My neighbor recommended that I call Corey from Bartlett Tree Service. Corey did a thorough inspection of the tree and the surrounding property impacts. He and his crew were able to reshape the tree so that it was more balanced and minimized the impact on my neighbor’s property. There are still some leaves that get blown into my neighbor’s yard, but the big branches that were hanging over his house are gone and the tree has a more graceful shape. The inspection was free and the cost for the work was very reasonable. I’ve had Corey and his crew do other work on my trees over the past few years and I’m always impressed with their work. I have several big, old trees that are healthier, safer and more beautiful thanks to Corey and his crew.

I had been a loyal customer of Bartlett for many years. Have gone through several Arborist Reps in that time due to turnover. In the past, I had good experiences. But recently, I have not been satisfied. Even though Bartlett will quote individual projects, they will not give you a discount if you combine services that save them money by economizing trips, gas, labor, set up, etc. When I question how they quote, they become defensive and will not provide an itemized breakdown of product, labor, etc. Instead, they quote a flat price and are unwilling to explain how they calculated their quote. A cascade of several emails caused me to question their integrity, quoting and pricing policies and treatment of a loyal long-term customer. When I escalated the issue to management, I was brushed off. They were not interested in even discussing the issue when I was willing to hear them out and be reasonable. I don't know if their growth over the years has caused them to be dismissive, but that was my sense. I prefer to work with local companies who appreciate a loyal customer. This company is not local. They are out of CT and describe themselves as international. I also could not find them licensed and bonded with WA State Labor and Industries. I will be looking for a local replacement for my needs going forward.

I wanted to share how impressed we were with the service provided by Sumner and his crew (Sean, Nick, and Hannah). It’s rare to find a team that combines deep horticultural knowledge with such high standards for customer service. They were attentive to our specific needs and the cleanup was flawless. We are so grateful for the hard work and will definitely be using and recommending Bartlett for future needs.
