Andy and his crew did an amazing job fixing my drainage issues and replacing my dying trees. Andy always arrived when he said he would, gave honest advice, and a fair price. He is a straight shooter and doesn’t try to upsell you on things that are not needed. The drainage issue was well handled and I don’t expect any further standing water problems. He replaced all my blue clay (the reason for my dying trees) with fresh soil, and planted beautiful large trees that perfectly matched my yard. His crew did a good job cleaning up afterword. He did great work and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone needing landscaping. I’d say I have pretty high standards for my projects and demand a clean worksite afterword. Andy did all this and beyond!

Andy and his team regraded and hydro seeded my 13000 sq ft back yard. It has been just over a week and the grass is coming in strong. Great job!

Andy and team completely transformed our backyard, including a new retaining wall, fence, leveling, patio, dog turf, a beautiful river bed garden, stairs, garden edging, lighting, and a new composite deck. There were no corners cut, the work is high quality and beautiful. We now have a gorgeous useable space where there was an overgrown, sinking, eyesore. Andy is extremely responsive with communication, dependable, and respectful. I cannot recommend this business enough.

Shoutout The Blue Alder for the awesome work on our front yard. They were a spur of the moment choice after seeing their sign in a neighbors front yard. Andy and his team completed a front yard remodel to really improve our curb appeal. Stump grind, plant removal, leveling, brick work, drainage, and hydro seeding. Two weeks in and the front yard is looking amazing with grass coming in fast!! The best part of hiring The Blue Alder was the communication which is very important when working on a project like this, nothing was missed. 10/10 would recommend.

Andy and his crew (Justin, Jose, and Oswaldo) were fantastic. From the design to finishing touches, everything was top notch. With the challenges that come with any project, Andy and Justin had great communication and solutions at every turn. The Blue Alder did a retaining wall for us that we are very happy with. They made it work with a somewhat narrow area and shrubs growing in the way. The guys worked very fast. We were actually surprised everything was completed so quickly. We also expected a lot of noise, which we warned the neighbors about, but the crew was very quiet. It has now been several months since the work was completed. The shrubs have survived just fine. The wall is functioning as it should even after a rare flooding event, followed by frost. Andy, the owner, deserves a special mention. He clearly cares about his customers and is a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be using the guys in the future.

Andy and his team did a fantastic job. They truly transformed our front and backyard. Our property is very wet, and we needed a lot of drainage work done to redirect the water away from our house. Andy ordered several truck loads of gravel and rocks to build our retaining walls and install an intensive drainage system. We couldn't be any happier with his work.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had with any type of contractor. Andy was personal and professional. His communication was amazing. Most impressive, he scheduled a week for our project and his crew were here every day all day from start to finish. Never had to worry about them not showing as they commit to one job at a time! The foreman Justin and crew were very nice and worked extremely hard. I was very impressed with their expertise in my large landscaping job, especially the beautiful walkway they installed. Follow-ups - we had couple of issues that Andy fixed:
Andy did come back to fix the front yard grass as the initial sod was bad ( too bad they put them at the first place but he did promise to fix it if it will not recover and he did that two weeks later) .
Andy also fixed a small issue later on, that happened to one of my neighbors.

Overall a very good experience and I would recommend him to others.

We highly recommend The Blue Alder! We hired them because we were getting water under our house, and they installed a French drain along with routing four of our downspouts underground and away from the house.

The entire team was incredibly friendly and professional throughout the project. Andy was especially great to work with from start to finish—he made communication easy every step of the way. He had multiple conversations with us to ensure he understood timing, pricing, quality of the materials, and our procedures for how we would rectify if something went wrong on shipping. He requested a facetime walk-through of our shop as well, a small detail but shows his level of due diligence on behalf of his clients. When the Compass shipped he communicated real time that everything was safe and secure, and then he communicated along the way of his successful install. He went above and beyond and cut an additional band with lighting adjacent to the cardinal directionals, an addition we've only seen one or 2 times over thousands of designs sold. When contractors communicate clearly and "real time" while simultaneously going above and beyond to IMPROVE on the product, all in an effort to delight their clients, that is someone we will NEVER hesitate to recommend for future work.
