We used Blacklotus Landscaping for a big yard weed cleanup as well as to build a rather long rock retaining wall. Their hard-working crew did an excellent job and the wall is not only well-built with drainage but is beautiful with carefully-chosen plantings. Jon at Blacklotus and all his crew were great to work with and happily gave us advice and answered all our questions. They take care to clean up after the job also. They do high quality work and even did more than we expected. We highly recommend Blacklotus Landscaping!

Black Lotus did an excellent job, we will definitely be retaining their services in the future. They brought a crew of 5 people out and over four days transformed our mostly empty half acre front lawn into a beautiful landscape including large decorative rocks. Jon and his team were knowledgeable and obviously enjoy what they do. Since we are originally from another part of the country we relied upon Jon and his arborist to help us navigate what plants would be best. They were patient and helpful, quickly narrowing down the plant selection to what we wanted, native and edible plants that are low maintenance. Throughout the process they were able and willing to adjust the plan as needed to allow us to have the best results possible. Black Lotus exceeded our expectations in every way. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

John, Jeremy, Ethan and Nate did a great job turning my swampy weedy side yard into something I really look forward to enjoying. The boys went out of their way to do a beautiful. They listened to my ideas and and added to it.

We hired Blacklotus Landscaping to trim back some of our small trees, bushes, and plants as well as some overall yard clean-up prior to painting our home. The team that came, led by Matthew, were professional, polite, and provided good quality work!! The communication from start to finish was excellent. I very much appreciate the responsiveness of Blacklotus Landscaping in getting back to me so quickly about starting our project since we would not have been able to have our house painted until the trimming was completed and we don't have much time left with summer ending soon. Other landscape companies were not at all responsive and lost out on our business. I definitely recommend Blacklotus Landscaping, they will take good care of you!

We had Blacklotus do some much needed trimming/pruning of our trees, bushes, and plants, and some overall yard clean-up. Jon was very easy to work with, was very responsive to my questions, and provided a quick quote for the work. His team of Emily, Johnathan, River, and Tony, were hard working, extremely professional, polite, and did high quality work. The communication was excellent from start to finish. Really enjoyed working with Blacklotus Landscaping! They took our requests and gave us a beautiful back yard, replacing a steep rocky hill. All native plants and rockery were placed creating a beautiful and safe space, as well as creating steps that blend in with the boulders. If needed, adjustments were made quickly as the work progressed and they came up with innovative solutions on the fence and gate. The crew was a delight to have on the property and very respectful. Highest recommendation possible!

John's crew worked quickly with an obvious concern to do the best job possible. They replaced about 3500 sf of old lawn with new sod. I am very pleased with the result, and i am glad I hired Blacklotus for the project.

Fantastic team! We are incredibly happy with how our landscaping turned out. The team was very respectful of our home and were always friendly with us and our kids. Crew number 10, Josh and David, did a fabulous job of creating a rockery. The blackberry and ivy were removed and mulch was spread. They were a joy to work with.

Jon and his crew installed a replacement stone stair to connect our lower yard with a higher patio. The staff were super nice and hardworking. We love the look and once the moss/plants grow back it will be a beautiful accent. Absolutely will hire them again for more projects in the future.

We had Blacklotus create a native plant rockery on our backyard hillside. We are so happy with the results! The team who did the work were efficient, friendly and very careful to not do any damage to our yard. The price was very reasonable. Black Lotus Landscaping did an outstanding job with landscaping in our backyard for a very good price. They listened to our desires and then provided a selection of plants that exactly fit our needs. Everything in our yard was done in a day. They provided ideas as well, including some rocks/boulders that break up the area and make it look much nicer. Blacklotus installed a new patio which turned out great! The install was challenging and required building up a slope and creative rockery work. Jon was honest, creative, and the team was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Blacklotus.

The 1st part of this review is for the most recent project to grade and level my driveway and add a slate path so I can roll my barrels out easily.
Crew 7, Zora, Mason and Nick not only did a fantastic job in all aspects, they brought the best vibe, showed interest in my specific concept and kept me updated at every step. Zora even showed me some of the favorite slate pieces they picked for me. (You know how I love rock and stone!) So that enthusiasm really added to my overall staisfaction for a job very well done!

Earlier project review with a current photo, also can't really show you how level my driveway is now, but they scraped so much aggregate that I let build up over years (deliveries I used to fill potholes and alleys nearby), they were able to fill and grade the length along our neighbors alley too with the excess.

"Business ethic, professional design, consideration of native landscape health. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of the project completed by Blacklotus Landscaping, thanks to Jon, Goldie and John. Not only were they right on time, but followed through on every detail and discussed every angle of the install. They were super friendly, let me hover a bit and encouraged the interaction which I also very much appreciated. They spent the time to meticulously clear 30 years of ivy (and 200+ pound Yucca tubers!) Then transformed the area into a stunning landscape of evergreens, succulents, ornamental grasses, stone boulders with a flagstone path and an extra dash of river rock accents. We love it all!

We did a consultation with Jon, during which we reviewed what we were seeking and discussed some of the challenges we faced with our space. Jon shared a variety of ideas, and ultimately we agreed on a plan that they recently executed quite well. Jon was helpful throughout - he deeply listens, and is not afraid to make suggestions based on his expertise. He is a genuine and honest person to deal with. Jeremy and Ethan were hard-working and quite respectful of the space, and they even went an extra mile by using some of the extra leftover bark/gravel to cover areas that were beyond the scope of the project. The team's attention to detail was great (no cutting corners, and Jon remembered all of the little conversations we had along the way).
