Port Orchard recently had 100+ degree weather for a couple of days. Our 2005 Heat pump was finally overwhelmed by the heat and stopped working on a Sunday. It was 90 degrees inside the house. Air Masters had done a maintenance check for us in 2019 so I called them and left a message for a repair appointment. To improve my chances of getting the system repaired I also called two other well-regarded local HVAC companies that Sunday. The other two companies called back on Monday; one was fully booked and had a waiting list and the other one couldn't come out for three weeks.

Theresa at Air Masters called me back on Monday and scheduled an appointment for that Thursday. As hot as it was I was still very grateful that they could come out to see me the same week.

Theresa then called me back on Tuesday and said that their technician, Anthony, was in my area and could see me that day. This was great news and I arranged to meet him at home.

Anthony came over, quickly determined that the capacitor had failed. He had the correct part in his truck and replaced it. He also helped me to understand my heat pump system better and suggested annual maintenance.

I cannot recommend Air Masters more highly. Theresa was helpful, friendly, professional and took the initiative to help me out of a bad situation. Anthony was also helpful, friendly, professional and had the experience to resolve the issue quickly. His service truck was also clean and professional.

This is a terrific company. I'll be setting up an annual service check with Air Masters today.

I want to express my appreciation for Air Masters HVAC company for fixing a life-threatening problem with my heating system. My original gas furnace (circa 1967) was replaced by a Lennox furnace 13 years ago, and an A/C unit was added in 2015. On January 24, 2025, I noticed an exhaust-like smell in the house. By January 28th, a digital CO monitor alarmed with a reading of 343 ppm. We shut off the furnace, evacuated the house, and started heating with a woodstove and pellet stove. The HVAC technician found a CO reading of 5-7 ppm from a supply register. The cost of replacing the suspected faulty heat exchanger almost equaled the cost of replacing the entire furnace. Of the three bids I received only Air Masters (Mike Tinner) thoroughly investigated the furnace and ductwork, finding restricted airflow that may have led to increased condensation and corrosion. They gave me three options, and I chose the most efficient furnace. It was a 2-day installation, and now I have a safe, free-flowing gas furnace. Air Masters' response, installation, and follow-up have been outstanding. I highly recommend Air Masters in Port Orchard for any HVAC needs. Well done, Air Masters!

We received multiple quotes for installing a ductless heat pump system in multiple rooms in our newly purchased home. The system was to replace a nearly 50-year-old baseboard heating system. Air Masters' communication and responsiveness were quick and professional. Rashad was our main contact and he provided all of the information we asked for plus more; references, photos of previous jobs that included the options we wanted, on-site quotes to help us navigate the best options, and Air Masters offered a great borrowing option. Unlike other providers, they had all of the equipment in stock and worked with our schedules for the installation, follow-up visits, and inspections. The inspector even complimented their high quality work.

The installation was seamless. The two installers couldn't have been friendlier. They cleaned up every day before they left, were on time, and showed us how to use the units before they left. We highly recommend Air Master's for any heating and cooling needs.

We purchased a Lennox furnace and air conditioner through Costco about six years ago. Costco’s contracted company came out and installed the system. Over the past six years we have had the contracted company out fairly regularly as we continued to have issues with the system. This year I contacted Air Masters to troubleshoot the system. AC came out and performed a leak test and was able to locate a manufacturing defect consisting of about a dozen tiny holes. Initially Lennox didn’t want to honor the warranty, but they had not met Teresa… She spent FOUR hours getting transferred from person to person until she finally got them to honor their warranty.

Needless to say, we have found our HVAC company for maintenance, repair, and should the need ever arise replacement. I can’t thank the entire team enough!

Air Masters is the best in the business. Everyone that I had contact with was nothing short of fantastic. Connie and Tarsilla in the office, Brian and Audrey for installation, and Rashad who was the first person we met from Air Masters. This company went above and beyond to help me with the trouble that I was having with my HOA, including the owner who took their time to speak with my HOA about my heat pump installation. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who needs a heat pump installation. Thank you Air Masters team for everything!

This is such a dream team. We’re going on 3 years this summer with our new unit.

From scheduling with Connie, to Rashad helping us identify the right unit, plus helping connect us to Vincent when we had issues which was unrelated to the system or their team’s work; our air quality was being impacted by an outside factor. Vincent patiently worked through details to handled our concerns graciously and directly. Helping identify a clear path forward to troubleshoot.

The actual install crew and maintenance team has been so professional every time they’ve come as well. We feel so secure having our system with the care and guidance of everyone on their team.

Air Masters exceeded our expectations with a new Mitsubishi heat pump system installed the week before Christmas. As someone with a technical background I can be a tough customer to please, but frankly we were blown away by the high quality work and excellent communication in every aspect from sales through design, installation, and customer support. It was a pleasure to work with people who have top notch experience, skills, attention to detail, and positive attitudes.

Today Carlson performed a tune-up on my system. I think he did a fine job. He found a couple of errors that were causing my heat pump to be under performing. I appreciated heis professionalism. He will be welcomed next time I need service.
