We hired Good Hands to enlarge and remodel our tiny master bathroom. The project required demolishing the old bathroom, removing an existing expanse of wall and rebuilding it to incorporate underused bedroom space into the bathroom, then tiling and installing new fixtures and furnishings. Throughout the project Good Hands took pains to protect our walls and flooring, and always cleaned up at the end of each day’s work. Our house, which isn’t new, threw us a few curves; Dorin (the owner of Good Hands) encountered a leaking pipe, an area of rotted subflooring, and some imaginative plumbing done in the past, apparently to provision an outside faucet. He took these surprises in stride, and calmly corrected each problem. Dorin is an accomplished professional—he knows what conditions are required to have a project come out well, and he knows how to produce those conditions when they’re absent. We love our new bathroom. Dorin takes aesthetics into account during every step while installing and finishing a room, and his tile work is absolutely, beautifully impeccable.
