First of all I looked at on line reviews on 4 companies. Called them all for quotes and compared equipment offered. Negotiated a fair price with the highest reviewed company. They were on time professional and gave me what I asked them for with the installation fees lines location. They picked up all of their materials and followed up with a quick lesson on the thermostat operations.
Couldn’t ask for more of a crew and salesperson.We will be using them for our annual maintenance now as well.

I needed to replace my gas, forced air furnace after 27 years of use. Finding a reliable company seemed daunting to me, but after talking to Steve during his assessment of my needs, I was convinced I had the right company. There’s no hype or push to buy very expensive equipment that you don’t need. There was rapid scheduling and exceptional discounts. They were very professional, the installation was efficient! . They cleaned up the area extremely well after they were done installing, and they shared with me all the information I would need to manage things in the future. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly …due to their efficiency and professionalism. My system now runs 50% quieter, and gives me better heat distribution than I’ve had in the past. I’m very grateful for a company that I can trust in these days ..to give the performance and value that I paid for. Many thanks to Steve and his whole team for a great experience, a beautiful job, great value, and most of all…peace of mind.

5/1/24… I needed their help once again and again they provided me with excellent service and advice. They are now my total go to Heating air conditioning & servicing needs.

8/25/24.. Time for a yearly check up and everything is running beautifully. They have given me excellent service throughout the year. I can’t say enough nice things about this company and the people that work for them. They are genuinely interested in your welfare, keeping costs low and providing excellent service.

9/25.. scheduled an appointment for just general maintenance and a check up for the fall and winter season coming up ..and it was done efficiently. I was notified ahead of time appropriately and It was a very quick Evaluation… everything look good as I expected

Always a great experience with Rainer, they came and fixed my unit in 1 visit, they fixed it for $500 vs their competitor who wanted ($8,000) if you’re reading this comment then you came to the right place

I recently had the pleasure of working with Rainier Heating & Cooling for a heat pump and furnace installation in my home, and I must say they went above and beyond in every possible way.

From the initial consultation to the final walk through, the level of professionalism and dedication shown by the entire team was exceptional. The supervisor Austin was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a clear and detailed explanation to all my questions.

The crew, Terrin and Elijah was punctual, efficient and took great care to minimize any disruption to my home. They were respectful of my property, leaving no mess behind, and their attention to detail was truly impressive. Every step of the installation was executed with precision and care.

A special shout-out to Kevin the electrician from JnK Electrical Solutions, who ensured that all the electrical components were perfectly integrated with the new system. He took the time to explain the new wiring and even clearly labeled all the new circuits in the panel.

Ranier Heating and Cooling worked collaboratively with us to find a solution for installing a ductless heating and cooling system for our home.
Cleverly, the were able to minimize the outside duct work and route most of the lines through our crawl space preserving the external appearance of our home.
The installers were efficient, polite and sensitive to keeping the house clean inside and out. They kept us informed each step of the way. After they completed the work they walked through the entire project and gave us an quick run through of the best use of the system.
Importantly, the price was fair and thousands less than the other bids.
We are very pleased with Ranier Heating and Cooling and recommend them without reservation.

Very happy with the service Mike and Austin provided. Mike got me scheduled for an appointment during a busy time of the year. Austin was great when he came out. Rainer heating & cooling were great to deal with. From our quote to the installation. Thank You Steve & Mike and your crew was outstanding, they were more worry about being in our way. When installation was done you could even tell a crew had been here 100% clean up. They went through how system worked and answer question during installation could ask for better service. System is so quiet beats those heat boxes and wow can they warm up a room quick. We would recommend Rainier Heating to all our friends and family.

We just got a new furnace and heat pump installed. We really appreciated the responsiveness of Steve who provided the quote, was available for questions, and stayed engaged throughout the scheduling, installation and checked in after as well. The staff that came to install were professional and did quality work. We are so happy we finally took the leap and got the heat pump.

Steve first came out and did our estimate- he was fantastic! Steve explained everything and made some recommendations that really helped us make our ultimate decision. We had 3 separate estimates and by far Rainier H&C far exceeded our expectations. Other places were either more expensive or unprofessional. Steve answered all my follow up questions quickly and accurately. The day of installation- the crew was on time and got right to work. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up as if they had never been there. I am very appreciative of all their hard work and professionalism and thankful I will now stay cool this summer!!

Rainier Heating & Cooling replaced our old AC unit and furnace with a Daikin heat pump and electric air handler with backup heat strips.

Of the 5 bids I got, Rainier provided the most competitive proposal in terms of equipment, price, and warranty. Steve came out for the quote, answered all my immediate questions, and was quick to respond when I had follow up questions or requested proposals for different scenarios. There was no pressure to make any quick decision or to upsell me on anything throughout the process. All recommendations also felt grounded and practical, which I appreciated. Install was scheduled quickly and went smoothly, no complaints there.

Overall very happy with the entire process and would recommend Rainier Heating & Cooling if you are looking for a heat pump.

Rainier heating helped us replace an oil furnace with a Daikin heat pump. We were happy with the install and the customer service. We just had our first annual maintenance, and everything has been working great for the past year!

I had a heat pump and electric furnace installed after my gas furnace died. Steve came out to give me a quote and I really appreciated that he took his time and talked through all the details. He was focused on more than just sales (unlike a few other companies who also gave me a quote) and went over all the technical details. Additionally, Rainier Heating was able to match a better price I got from another company. On the day of installation, the crew did great work! They were very polite, hard working, and ensured everything was done correctly. After installation I had a few issues with the aux heat coming on when it shouldn’t be running and Mike was quick to adjust the settings to avoid this. Highly recommend Rainier Heating - great service and they really care about their customers!

Great experience from the first appointment with Steve who came out to evaluate the situation and make recommendations all the way to the installation. We had decided to get at least 3 quotes but Rainier Heating was the only company that worked to help us get the best system while not breaking the bank. The comparisons between the companies was night and day. In addition, their installation crew was very professional. They worked quickly and then made sure that we were happy with everything before they left. If we move and need a new system or repairs we would definitely call on them again. We can't recommend them highly enough and can honestly say that you can't go wrong if you hire them for your heating and cooling system.

Rainier Heating and Cooling saved us from replacing our entire HVAC system when it wasn't needed. We had another company (with a once great reputation) doing regular check-ups, but each recent visit involved fear tactics that the unit could suddenly fail at any moment, and with each tech giving different reasons for this impending breakdown. Their sales rep gave us a very high quote and tried to pressure us due to new regulations starting in 2025. Not only were the regulations irrelevant to us, but the quote we later got from Rainier was nearly $6000.00 less! But it doesn't stop there...
Our Rainier sales rep suggested that we hold off on replacement until one of their techs could come out and confirm that our system was nearing failure. Not only did he do a full diagnostic, but went through everything he did and what he would expect to happen if a part was failing. After an amazing lesson on our HVAC system, he told us that nothing at all was wrong with our system and that we have a few years yet before the first part might fail, and what that should cost.
Rainier Heating & Cooling is that rare gem of a business that does the right thing, even if it means a delayed sale. Their honesty lets us plan for replacement rather than get saddled with a sudden loan. This is how you make life long customers. Don't hesitate to call because you think they might be outside your area, they came all the way up to Maple Valley for our business.

This project started with Steve coming to my house to evaluate the situation. He recommended what he thought would be a good match for me, a new heat pump & furnace combination. The quote soon followed. It was the best price of the group of businesses I had canvassed. On the arranged day, the Rainier Heating & Cooling crew arrived at my house. They had everything installed and working great by the end of that same day. They cleaned up as they worked along, and everything looked great when they were finished. All the Rainier personnel were professional and courteous. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

Rainier makes every effort to resolve problems as fast as they can. My 93 year old neighbor was overheating in house due to coolant leak. They came out immediately, did a temporary fix to get her through the hot days until they could come out and repair properly which they did the next week. Thank you
