General Contractor reviews in Redmond, Washington

We had a fantastic experience working with Higgason on our home project and couldn’t be happier with the results. We worked with them to do a full kitchen remodel, small bathroom remodel, laundry room remodel, and new flooring and painting throughout our entire downstairs.

From the very beginning, their responsiveness and proactive approach stood out. They took the time to involve their subcontractors early in the process, which gave us a lot of confidence and made a strong impression, especially compared to other contractor experiences. That level of thoroughness was a big reason we chose them.

The team itself was outstanding. They went above and beyond, problem-solving, communicating clearly, and working creatively with us every step of the way to bring our vision to life. They worked hard, always demonstrated professionalism, and consistently had positive attitudes. Across the board, the team provided excellent guidance on everything from colors to materials, helping us achieve a beautiful result without needing a designer.

Throughout the project, we appreciated the team’s willingness to adapt and keep things moving forward. Their commitment to delivering a quality end product really showed. They were on time and on budget every step of the way. While the initial quote was higher than others we got at the start, it was absolutely worth it in the end. The Higgason team they could to mitigate the disruption associated with remodeling half of our home.

The final outcome exceeded our expectations. We transformed our mid-80s golden oak kitchen into a modern, functional space that has quickly become the heart of our home - a place where we love gathering with family and friends.

We’re incredibly happy with the experience and would absolutely work with Higgason again on future projects. Highly recommend!

Great work ethic .. nice home improvement experience.

Couldn’t be happier with how our bathrooms turned out. Would definitely use Higgason Construction again for our next project.

Shannon and crew were great to work with building my garage. The work is excellent.

Excellent quality and high responsiveness. We are overjoyed with how our basement turned out and will be recommending Shannon to all of our friends and neighbors.

This company is absolutely amazing! We needed a barn secured for the winter, they went above and beyond. They even check up on us after winter! Would recommend to anyone.

Higgason restored and remodeled my kitchen, family room, dining room, and half bath after a flood in the house. Everything turned out beautifully and the crew was respectful and wonderful to work with.

Shannon and co. did a great job building a deck this last summer. The end product was amazing and they were professional and responsive during this trying time which is appreciated. Will be trusting them with more projects soon!

Shannon, we love our new master bathroom! Appreciate all the creativity you showed in suggesting ways we could remove the old bathtub and put a large shower in its place. The attention to detail, and perfection in the extensive tile work is wonderful. I am looking forward to the next remodeling project on our house with your team.

I hired Shannon for a couple of minor bathroom remodels a few years ago. He was timely and professional, his work excellent, and his prices fair. He answered all of my questions and took the time to make sure I was educated and satisfied with the project. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience.

Shannon and his crew were incredible to work with. They built us a beautiful outdoor living space that exceeded our expectations. High quality with great attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Shannon and his guys did an amazing job building a 700 sf custom deck Trex deck for us, as well as a 600 sf exposed aggregate patio with a stamped concrete border. His angles on the deck were perfect (we had several 45 degree angles and wrap around stairs) and the rounded edges he put on the concrete patio really make our backyard space stand out. Aside from the great work, he and his guys were also just really great to have around. They're conversational and engaged well with our kids. We're working with him again now for a bid on some interior work. Highly recommended!!!

I called Higgason to see about a few projects we needed done. Shannon returned my call the next business day. After outlining what we needed done, it was realized what we needed done wasn't what they do (our projects are smaller-in the grand scheme- repair items whereas they focus on larger remodels/builds). Even after determining their company wouldn't be the right fit for us, he offered to phone triage the things we needed completed, explained what our likely issues were, and recommended the type of contractor we should contact for getting the work done. All without any chance of us being able to currently contract with them.

I was blown away by the kindness and much needed direction. I will absolutely be reaching out to them again, if our needs one day better match their offerings. Thank you, Shannon!

We hired Higgason to do a major bathroom and laundry room remodeling project for us. During the three-month project, they encountered several unexpected complications, but overcame them to deliver quality results with superb craftsmanship and attention to detail. The team members were skilled and courteous throughout. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend them.

The kitchen/family room remodel turned out even better than expected. The quality of the work was exceptional and the crew and management kept me updated on the timeline, what decisions I needed to make and what activities to expect each day. The professionalism of the skilled workers and communication with the crew and management made for a smooth process. I would definitely hire Higgason Construction for future projects.

The Higgason home remodeling team was outstanding! From the initial estimate to starting on time to paying attention to every detail throughout the top to bottom remodel, the Higgason team are experts in high-quality home remodeling. They were professional craftsman and communicated with me every step of the way. I highly recommend Shannon and his team!

Shannon and his guys did a master bathroom remodel for us this summer. Our remodel also involved an insurance claim which required a lot of extra paperwork. Shannon was able to help provided the needed paperwork for our insurance claim. More importantly, they did an amazing job on our bathroom. We had a lot of tile work done which turned out outstanding. We were very pleased with the outcome and have received a lot of compliments on how everything came out. I would recommend Higgason construction to anyone looking for quality work.

The Kirkland kitchen is fantastic, Jen did an incredible job designing it, there is so much storage. We really love it. The family room and the laundry room were add-on’s and both came out better than I could have imagined. The fireplace and the rock are a masterpiece - a statement to the great skills of Alex. He really worked hard and did a fantastic job! The new laundry room is probably my favorite. Everything else is great but we really needed a laundry room. And Jason’s placement of the lights in all the rooms, to me, makes the house a home. It is really nice to be able to see everything so much better. And Aaron’s rough design/layout of the laundry room/ family room enabled this dream to come true. Of course Pat‘s choice of cabinets and shelving really made the laundry room. And I can’t not mention the skill set for fine carpentry that Russ adds.

We could not be more thrilled with our new home! Shannon and his crew rebuilt our main floor from the ground up! We had been living with our 1979 split level home for 12 years before deciding to take on a major kitchen and great room renovation. The project eventually extended into six separate areas of our home, including our kitchen, dining & living room spaces as well as the adjacent entry, office and two bathrooms. Shannon worked through each step of this mammoth project with us, helping us find ways to reduce costs and stay within our budget without sacrificing our vision for the space. Shannon's skill and expertise with everything from framing and support to finish work were incredible. With a project of that scope and scale, hiccups & setbacks inevitably will occur. Shannon was a great problem solver and worked collaboratively with us to see each issue through to resolution. We felt fortunate to build a relationship with him along the way filled with trust and respect.

Our home looks more beautiful than we could have imagined. We highly recommend Higgason Construction for your next project!

Shannon at Higgason Construction laid tile flooring in my guest and master bathrooms. I will be recommending him highly to my family and friends! I will be using Higgason construction again when I remodel the rest of my kitchen. My tile floors look incredible, the work was done quickly and he was a pleasure to communicate with along the way. The results are fantastic, my girlfriend and I are so pleased. Shannon also kept a very clean work space within my home, which I greatly appreciated!

We used Higgason for a small bathroom remodel several years ago and they did an outstanding job that exceeded our expectations. Recently we contracted with them again to do a major bathroom remodel. Shannon gave us a competitive bid. He and his team followed through on all commitments made, were polite and professional during construction (Aaron is a master at project management), and produced a bathroom that we are proud of and that enhances the value of our home. We highly recommend Higgason Construction!
