General Contractor reviews in Renton, Washington

We are really pleased with our new kitchen. The attention to detail was especially impressive. The designer we worked with even commented on how well the cabinet doors were aligned. The project was completed on time and on budget. We appreciated that there was someone at our house working almost every day of the project. We had a few challenges with communication. If we texted a question it would sometimes take a couple days to get a response. But overall we would recommend Wise Choice and would work with them again on a future project.

Wise Choice Construction did an excellent job on our finish carpentry work. Their craftsmanship was top-notch, and their attention to detail really stood out. Every cut, joint, and finish was done with care and precision, and the final result looks clean and professional.
They were reliable, communicated well throughout the process, and clearly take pride in their work. If you’re looking for a contractor who pays close attention to the details and delivers quality results, I would highly recommend Wise Choice Construction.

This general contractor provided excellent service from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. They communicated clearly throughout the project, paid attention to every detail, and completed the work on time and within budget. The craftsmanship is impressive, and the final result exceeded our expectations. I would confidently hire them again and recommend them to anyone needing trustworthy construction services.

Daniel's bid was spot on. He, and the specialists he brought out during the bidding process, educated us on options. There was no pressure selling. Sergiy was the on-site boss who kept the project moving and kept us appraised regularly. Adam did the work on our bathroom remodels and did amazing work. Both bathrooms came out beautiful. He was quick, much quieter than we had expected, and very talented. We have been very pleased with their work and have requested additional bids for upcoming projects.

We are so glad we went with Wise Choice!

After meeting with several contractors, my wife and I chose them to do an addition to our house. We first learned about Wise Choice through Yelp, and although we were initially nervous about choosing a contractor for such a large job (they gave us the best estimate, by far!) without a personal recommendation, we couldn't be happier with our decision.

They were great to work with throughout the entire process, from architectural and engineering plans, permitting, and the actual construction. The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time.

We love the results, and several people have commented that the addition looks like it should have been there all along. We can't recommend Wise Choice highly enough!

We had a great experience working with our contractors on our kitchen renovation. Sam, Bogdan & their team were wonderful to work with. They were all respectful. From start to finish, they were professional, communicative, and detail-oriented. They took the time to understand our vision and executed it beautifully. The quality of workmanship truly shows, and our kitchen turned out even better than we imagined. We’re so happy with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a remodel. We will be happy to work with them again with our future home remodels.

Very professional team with quality of work in focus.

They were considerate and trustworthy, went the extra mile to ensure the project was satisfactory and were exceptionally skilled.

Anjelica was extremely professional helped me with my home project and did everything from start to finish from the ground up awesome work definitely recommend her and the crew

Tolentino is very professional, I’ve known him for a few years now. He has done different jobs for me and has always been a very easy-straightforward process. Tolentino over delivers.

Jorge and his crew are skilled workers who work with you to find the right way to do things and then do it well. They demo'd and reframed part of our house and our complicated roof structure as part of a large remodel and it turned out great. They also installed windows and doors for us and we liked their work so much we hired them to do some siding repair and fence building and repair as well. I'd trust these guys to help with just about any home project and hope to work with them again in the future when I have need.

Jorge and his team did a great job for our re-do deck project. I dealt with lots of construction projects and contractors before, the main difference Jorge,s team clean up at the end of the day, kept the work area nice and neat, is unusual for sure. He communicated with us along the way, made suggestions to ensure the outcome meets our expectations. At the end, the team clean up and ensure the place is spotless. We are extremely happy and satisfied with our new deck, thank you Jorge and your team. Great job!

Tolentino prepared and installed good closet doors in our home within days. The closet was of unusual size - so, many companies that had come earlier to give a quote expressed their inability to help. Tolentino did it quite quickly, which impressed us. The price was quite reasonable too.

We had Jorge and his crew do some Sheetrock repair (ceiling) in several rooms. This included taping, mudding, sanding & painting. He was very knowledgeable and always kept us informed on the process and work schedule. They were very conscientious of keeping the area taped off and cleaned up, each time they were here! We were very happy with the outcome/results! We highly recommend Tolentino Structures and we plan to use them for future projects! Thank you again, Jorge!

Tolentino Structures built us a beautiful custom playhouse with a partitioned side for shed storage. We were very pleased with all their friendly staff, attention to detail, following through with committed timeline and budget! I'd definitely consider them for future projects.

Tolentino Structures did a great job replacing the fascia and flashing around my garage doors. Jorge chose the appropriate materials to make it even better than original while keeping the look of the finer details the same. You can tell he really cares about his customer and the finished product. His communication was great from the first estimate throughout the project. The Tolentino office was responsive through text messages before and during the project. Jorge is a a great carpenter with a positive attitude. I would definitely call him again for any construction needs.

Jorge and his team at Tolentino Structures did an outstanding job for us. They are incredibly talented and hardworking, always keeping the site clean throughout construction and finishing on time. They even went above and beyond what we asked, without requesting additional payment—but we gladly gave them more because they truly earned it. We’re extremely pleased with their work and are already planning to hire them again for our next remodeling project. Thank you again Jorge for your amazing work!

Great people, reliable and detail oriented work of high quality, very thoughtful execution of ideas.

Companies like NorWest are a rare breed nowadays. They don't cut corners, and go above and beyond to deliver a very high quality product every time. Very satisfied customer!

We bought our house new some 20 years ago and got into the habit of thinking that this was a new house and should have nothing to worry about. That was mostly true but the northwest rain and weather did leave its mark. As a result we've got some trims in certain areas of the house including a couple of door frames that got some rotten wood showing up. We did our research and invited a few contractors over for work estimates. Most of the guys did a walk-through and recommended full replacement of the trims and door frames even though the rotten areas only existed in a limited area close to the ground. Oleg was decidedly different. He walked around the house with me and looked pretty closely as we walked, including all my areas of concern. At each spot he stopped and explained our options and answered all my questions. In the end I was convinced partial replacement was the better approach -- it would fix the issue without aesthetic compromise (and I also thought it would still leave us the option for full replacement if ever needed). Oleg's knowledge and willingness and ability to explain things also left a very good impression on me. After reviewing all the proposals, we decided to go with Oleg.
Oleg works as a general contractor and has subcontractors he works with. This is a model some online reviews had cautioned against because of added cost when we did our research. But this worked in our case as Oleg was willing to make our repair/replacement much less invasive without sacrificing the quality. Now the project was done the result speaks to that approach and his expertise. And I'm also glad we've now got someone we can trust and go back to for future needs, which I'm sure we'll have no matter how "new" the house is.
As a foot note, Oleg's flexibility and willingness to help also includes giving us the opportunity or even recommendations to purchase ourselves the materials needed for the project. That would save us some cost as the project was charged at an hourly rate and also let his subcontractor focus on doing his job. He sent me a list of items and quantity to buy so that his subcontractor would have everything ready when he started. This worked out pretty well and also reflected well on his professionalism and mastery of the trade.

I've now worked with Oleg and his team on multiple projects, big and small, and I can't recommend him enough. From a bathroom remodel where he kept his promise to always leave us with a functional set up at the end of the day, to smaller projects like moving a dryer vent, to our most recent project, a studio apartment full renovation of bathroom, kitchen, floor, and painting, he delivers reliable and quality results. 100 stars!
