This company was so wonderful. They were so informative and helpful while navigating a challenging backyard renovation. Even after deciding to do the work myself, Christian was so incredibly helpful, and even gave me advice moving forward by myself. If I change my mind I will absolutely choose them. A quality company such as them is very hard to come by.

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated Christian for allowing me to walk him through our sprinkler issue on the phone while he was at our house. He was kind, helpful and a pleasure to talk with even though I had mixed up the date of the appointment. I will definitely pass along your company's name as a good source for any help with outdoor sprinkler systems and if I ever need any repairs for ours in the future.

I am an older, 71years citizen and have been using Uyeta's for about 12 years... I like the fact that we do a "walk about" to decide what is needed and what can wait until later. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their business. I have used them for pruning both fruit trees and a variety of bushes. They have added mulch to my flower beds to reduce weeds and make the beds low maintenance. They offer a variety of services for the home owner. I have beed very pleased with the company and will continue to use them in the future.

Antonio and Raul have been out twice over the last few months.They are simply amazing. They covered the scope of the projects such as pruning, removing debris, weeding, mulching and went beyond. We worked together to address the needs of the yard and plants. Gabriel and Oscar made very accurate quotes and payments were per project quote. Thank you so much to the whole Uyeta Team!

Eric came out on April 18th, 2023 to give us a bid for re-landscaping our front and back yards. He had great ideas, Uyeta is only a couple blocks from us and has been in business a long time, so we were pretty sure we would be hiring them. Eric said he would be out the next day to take measurements and have a bid to us the following week. Didn't hear back that week, so my wife called to ask what happened. Eric said he'd have the bid in a couple days. Nothing. This pattern repeated itself a couple more times. He finally showed up unannounced on Friday May 12th and said he had sent someone to take measurements, but he didn't think they were correct. We have security cameras, so we don't think anyone came out to take measurements. He told us this was his top priority for the day and would have a bid by May 13th. It is now May 18th and we've heard nothing. So, now we go back to the other contractors who gave us bids and they are all swamped, and can't get to us for a couple months! So, because we waited four plus weeks for a bid we never got, we won't get this project done until at least the middle of summer! This is a pretty expensive project that they walked away from for no apparent reason! Very frustrating!

This is the 2nd time we've hired them to do some serious yard maintenance for us, and we could not be more pleased with their care for our plants as they do their work.
They trimmed our boxwood and laurel hedges beautifully, thinned out a very large Rhodie, pruned our hydrangeas, weeded and fertilized, and then the cleanup was so good not a trace was left behind.
Absolutely wonderful work, again!!!

We've used the Uyeta company for nearly 20 years at the Woodlake condominiums on Mercer Island. Eddie Uyeta came out several times to discuss issues with the property, and all the workers he sent out were gracious, polite, and hardworking. The quality of the work is excellent! Pricewise, I think they are probably comparable to many other landscaping services, but the quality of their work, their care to be on time, their hard work and friendliness makes them well worth it!

We engaged Uyeta to reimagine our yard, and create something that was both simple to maintain and a neat experience for ourselves and guests. We interviewed 3 firms - gotta say that Eddie and his team were head and shoulders above the others: personal, imaginative, clear and disciplined. and once we got to work, the whole design and installation experience was exceptional. Having done major landscape jobs 3X prior, working with Uyeta was 10x better - the team (across the board) has been fantastic, the work was both high quality and on schedule/budget, and they wowed us with innovative ideas. Great team. Hired them to do maintenance which has been equally great. I will reco them every time.

I had this useless part of my yard next to my driveway that would turn to mud, grass and weeds every year. For years I hated it. I called Uyeta Landscape and asked if they would be interested in transforming it into an extension of my driveway. Christian came to look at it and said we can do this. He set a work date and the excavation team showed up early and immediately went to work. I was surprised at how fast the operation went. Within a few days, all the dirt was removed, leveled, packed down, and ready for concrete. They called on Sierra Concrete to set the forms for a wall and prep the ground for new concrete. Christian told me that Sierra Concrete was a little higher in price than some other companies, but they do excellent work. He was right. The finished product is top notch and will last forever. No more maintenance! Thanks Dan Ramirez! All the workers involved were very friendly and easy to talk to. Every days work was cleaned up before they went home. Very professional. I know who I'll be calling on for any future projects. Thanks guys!

We are so pleased with the work the crew from Uyeta Landscape did for us, having transformed both our front and back yards. The entire staff was very professional and all the work was completed in a timely manner.

We are especially appreciative of the work Janel and Christian performed on our behalf. Having worked with Janel in the past, we knew we could rely on her to ‘get it right!’ She really listened to our ideas and allowed us to be involved in every aspect of the project, from the overall design to plant selection and placement to guidance for ongoing care. We truly appreciated Janel’s excellent communication skills and prompt responses to our questions throughout the project.

Christian’s oversight of our project was invaluable, including his knowledge of ‘all things landscape’ (from permits to irrigation systems to dealing with subcontractors and city inspectors.) Christian’s ‘make-it-happen’ approach kept our project moving along smoothly and on schedule.

We are so looking forward to spending time in our new back yard. Thank you for making it a place to enjoy for years to come. Without hesitation, would recommend Uyeta Landscape to anyone who is looking for a landscape company.

Everything went so smoothly! I called and was able quickly to scheduled an appointment to get a bid. I walked around with one of the employees who listened and asked questions. He made a few suggestions that were super helpful, and then I was given the bid before he even left. Once I decided to go with them, I called and was able to schedule a specific day for the landscaping. The crew arrived promptly at 6:50am for their 7am start time! For us they removed a large amount of debris, planted about 20 plants, completed extensive weeding, barked, and edged the grass. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and thoroughly. This company was so easy to work with and I would highly recommend them!

I had a rather large patio replacement and new retaining wall put in my backyard. Uyeta promptly returned my call for a quote, provided a clear quote with optional line items that I requested, delivered the project on time and the quality is excellent. Highly recommend.

The field manager, Oscar, was prompt for our initial consultation. He was very easy to work with and knowledgeable about the plants / trees in my yard. He walked the entire property with me and provided a quote for planting bed clean-up, shrub/tree pruning/shaping and tree staking within 30 minutes of the consultation. Quotes for other services, including mulching and mowing, were provided as discussed within a few days. The crews did a fantastic job and the yard looks amazing. We will definitely use Uyeta Landscape for future projects.

I recently had some work done in my yard by Uyeta Landscaping. I needed 3 very overgrown Barberry Bushes trimmed and a lot of Ivy and blackberry cuttings from last year and this year that needed to be hauled away. The two guys that came to do the work were amazing. They worked so hard and had it all nicely taken care in a matter of 2 hours. They were very kind and considerate of my property and my neighbors . They left everything spotless and it was well worth every dollar I spent. Thank you again Uyeta for a job nicely done!!!

We had Uyeta come and fix an issue another landscaper made in our back yard. Not only did they do what we asked, but they were so professional and it looks a hundred times better than it did before! From the time I placed my first call to Uyeta until the last piece of sod was laid, this has been an excellent experience with outstanding results.

I am particularly impressed with the fact that you and your crew worked from an architects layout, overlaid with Kimberly’s sketched and verbal changes, and managed to interpret everything to our great satisfaction.

Kimberly and I appreciated your follow-up to our questions, your scheduling notices and the crew you sent out to do the work. Gabriel and David were outstanding in their execution of the verbal instructions and changes that we made. There attitude toward their work, combined with their friendliness made the many hours spent with them a delight.

Please use our names as a reference anytime you like.

We look forward to putting the final touches on our project come spring.

Profit and $$$ are more important than customer satisfaction, I would try to be more receptive to your customers concerns.

Should have walked away at first disappointment, some businesses don’t deserve second chances this is one.

EDIT.. where very responsive to my first review and reacted in the hour and contacted me.

It’s seems like it is an isolated issue and I don’t think a business should be hurt by one single issue.

I have decided to work with them and will update after the work is done.

They will hopefully be up to their great reputation.

Heard great things and was referred by friends, the reviews seems like they do a good job, it’s unfortunate that I am having such a poor experience.
I send an inquiry and was called back scheduled an appointment for today Monday at 10am.
I rearranged my work schedule to be there for them.
The person didn’t show up, and no one gave us a call or heads up. after waiting 40min I called them, and I was nicely told that the person couldn’t make it and only notified them 30 min a go.
and that they were sorry they did’t reach out, we were on their list of things to do.
I wasted my time and money.
Bummer.

It was our dream to have our own Japanese garden. After years of research, visiting Japanese gardens and going to Japan last year our dream has become reality. As we gaze upon it we are filled with joy. Team Uyeda created true art through their creativity, attention to detail, depth of understanding of what we wanted and what they wanted which was perfection which is their calling card and making clients dreams come true. The garden is more than handpicked rocks or hundreds of beautiful decorative plants or incredible stone lanterns and bench. It is truly a living, breathing work of art. We loved working with Janel, Roberto and Jesus. They are not only artisans but wonderful, caring people. They will live on in our garden with fond memories. Thank you Uyeda!

My experience with Uyeta and their team was deeply disappointing and concerning. Their unprofessionalism was evident from the start, with poor communication and delayed responses leaving me frustrated and uncertain about the progress of the project.

Not only did they go over budget, but they also completely ruined my neighbor's landscape. The supervision was shockingly subpar, with the final result falling far short of the agreed-upon design. The project dragged on for MUCH longer than promised.

To top it off, the final invoice was significantly higher than the initial quote, with questionable additional charges. Overall, I regret hiring Uyeta and would caution others against doing the same!!

We had extensive work done by Uyeta about a year ago. They did our backyard and it turned out very lovely! We had raised paved garden beds put in , patio, sprinkler system, lights, and shrubs, trees and pathways. A few things came up with this much work and they were very amicable to work with. I feel like they were very professional and really love how my yard looks. We get alot of compliments on it!

I needed a complete front lawn restoration, and hired Uyeta Landscape, Design and Maintenance to do the restoration.
The communication throughout the project from Eddie the owner to the crew Antonio and Ricardo was exceptional. They didn't cut any corners, did the work the correct way, and made sure that what I wanted was done and complete to my satisfaction.
If you are needing a landscaping project, or maintenance done I highly reccomend Uyeta Landscape and Design and Maintenance!
You won't find a more honest and reputable company that does it the right way.
