Let me tell you about a heating and air conditioning company that you can truly rely on. Overly pleased with my experience. Their customer service is top tier, by far the best I've seen in the industry. I went on vacation and upon my return I found my unit had gone out. I called Welch Heating and Air and they were out at my home the same day. SAME DAY. Nick let me know how to prevent the situation from happening again, set me up with a maintenance plan to keep my unit running properly and took the time to explain things. So helpful. Thank you Nick and everyone at Welch! I won't be using anyone else in town now. If you don't have a HVAC company give these guys a try. You will not regret it.

Great company to work with. Nick was very helpful and was able to get an appointment setup within a short notice. The crew that installed our new equipment were very professional, friendly and explained everything to us.

Our AC went out on a 110 degree day. They were booked until the next day but Nick, the owner, came out right away to make sure we were taken care of! He was honest and quick to diagnose the issue. We were back up in no time! Thanks Welch!

I seldom post reviews, but this deserves a mention. I knew my system was about dead and it finally quit on me in the worst heat of the year. There's nothing exciting about needing your HVAC system replaced. I was dreading the hassle. I called Welch Heating and Air on Monday, and they came out within ONE HOUR of my call! They confirmed what I knew. No joke, THE NEXT DAY at 8:00AM, they arrived with a new HVAC system. The whole process was completed within 24 hours of my first call, and was WAY less than I had been quoted from others last year. The staff were great, and there were no hidden costs or "up-charges"!! You just can't find the kind of honest and dependable service these people offer. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My central air went out during the current heat wave! When I inquired about reasonable HVAC companies in the Tri-Cities, Welch Heating and Air won out. I called this morning and was able to get service this afternoon! Wow! And, I actually got the owner of the company. Nick did a quick check of my unit and discovered it was a dead capacitor. He had it changed out so fast I didn’t even notice he was done fixing it! He cleaned the fins out and everything went back to normal. I can’t say enough good things about the friendliness of the office and Nick. They were absolutely wonderful! I will be using their company from now on to service my HVAC unit. To begin, the response time was same day! I was in great need of heat, so not only did I receive quick relief; it felt like I had just reconnected with a long lost relative! I felt that comfortable with his integrity, with an opportunity to see what the issue was and, to move forward with the part replacement. His schooling also helped me understand my unit and how to be the most prepared for the future. I could not have imagined this was to be my experience at all. Dread melted into smiles ; )

We called on a Sunday, they came by on Monday and did a diagnosis, and the crew came in Tuesday morning and had a complete system replacement done and running by 2p.m . The crew was professional and personable, Nick the owner didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need, he was straight forward and didn’t promise anything he couldn’t provide. I highly recommend them for HVAC service and repair!

My mom’s HVAC system was blowing warm air and on the first real day of heat this year for our area. I called Nick at Welch after hours on a Saturday AND Holiday weekend for help. He was out first thing Sunday AM to help my mom’s house get repaired and cooled down! My Mom also struggled with her digital thermostat so Nick went above and beyond and replaced her thermostat for her with something more user friendly and easy for her to operate. Outstanding service on a holiday weekend, outstanding work. Highly recommend Nick and Welch for any HVAC needs.

Wow is all I can say, communication to final install was amazing. From the time of first call the team at Welch heating and air conditioning was polite courteous, and on time with all meeting times. During the install the team was polite and went beyond to do the job right. Thank you nick, Andrew, Doug and Hank for a job well done.

2nd time this season my AC went out this season! Welch came to my rescue! Changed my fuses. Nick took care of me, and made sure I got scheduled, the customer service when I called was impeccable and Paul was very professional and made sure all was in working order! I highly recommend them for all your heating and air needs!

We called up Welch because our previous company kept giving us the run around (for 2.5 months in this heat) to have our ac unit fixed. Nick offered us a replacement unit and told us it would be 3 days. Not even an hour later he called back and asked if we would like our AC unit replaced in the next 3 hours. Of course we said YES PLEASE! Nick sent out some guys and within 3 hours we had AC running and our home finally cooled to 72 degrees! It was magical!
I would recommend Welch many times over! They guys are professional, courteous, efficient and the cost is worth it for a cool home in this 100+ degree temps!

We had just bought a house and the air conditioner was having issues and flooding. I contacted Nick and the service that has been provided to us has been amazing! This company is fast with response and work. Nick has been great with open communication and always answering questions when I've had them. I would absolutely recommend Welch to anyone. Infact, I have also had him out at my other home and the work and communication did not vary from the first time that I had contacted them.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. We had Nick do a second inspection on a ac unit after a home inspection before purchasing a home and he saved us big time. He was able to catch basic things that would have been big headaches down the road. He even provided a quote for the repairs that everyone else couldn’t get close to. Welch Heating and Air will always have my business when it’s needed and I recommend him to all my friends and family.

Must share how awesome the service and professionalism I received from Welch Heating & Air Conditioning. Paul came out and spent sometime on a heat pump that sounded to me like it was in need of repair and then explained to me that due to the age of the heat pump and the various repairs that have been done over the years to the unit, that the heat pump was running as well as can be expected for its age and there was no need for a significant repair. Cost me a $50 for the service call. Generally, I would expect to be pressured to replace the whole HVAC unit but rather was a discussion of the eventual replacement of the HVAC just not right now!...Richland needs more contractors like Welch Heating & Air that make their customers feel at ease and help with very expensive decisions...Highly recommended!

I had Nick install a new furnace and Heat pump last Aug (2023) and I have been nothing but impressed with him and his team. We recently had an issue over the weekend and he had a tech show up and had it diagnosed. Not only did the tech show up on a Saturday but also Nick (the owner) showed up. Nick even called me the next day to make sure everything was still good. I would 100% recommend Welch to everyone, we are super impressed. He is very honest and a pleasure to work with.

I originally had a different company come out to look at our AC because it wasn’t cooling. The first time the other company came out the guy “didn’t have time to check for leaks” and the second time he came out— 3 days later because it already wasn’t cooling again, he found a big leak in the outside unit, (but wouldn’t check the unit in the attic because it was after 11am). The other company said that they would get me quotes and “hopefully” they would have time next week to come replace it, but that we couldn’t even turn our AC on until it gets fixed due to what he had to use to test it for leaks.

When I told some friends about our AC troubles, one hopped on the phone and called Nick at Welch, (after hours on a Friday), to see if they would be able to come out sooner to replace our unit. Nick got ahold of us right away, the quote was thousands of dollars less than the other company was going to charge, and they would be willing to come out next-day (on a Saturday) to replace the AC.

The guys that came to do the work were great! They got right to work and made sure that everything was working properly before they left. The first time they had us turn on the system to test, the fan wasn’t coming on, but they got right to troubleshooting and got the issues resolved ASAP. They made sure that it was cooling and we were happy before they left. I’m not sure if it is typical, but they also included 1 year of preventative maintenance with our contract, (the unit had a 10-year warranty too).

I highly recommend Welch and just wish I would have called them first!

We recently had a new HVAC system installed by Welch, and the entire process from start to finish was seamless and professionally handled. The team arrived on time, was well-prepared, and maintained a clean and organized work area throughout the installation. They took the time to explain the system, answered all of our questions, and ensured everything was working efficiently before wrapping up.

The quality of workmanship was excellent, and we can already feel the difference in comfort and air quality throughout our home. The Ecobee Thermostat is easy to use once you get the hang of it.

FANTASTIC service! Quickly diagnosed the issue and ordered the part needed. Installed a few days later and our AC works great again! The technician Paul had a great attitude and showed up right on time when the appointment was set. They even let us borrow a portable AC so we didn't get too hot while we waited for the installation. 🙏
