Constraction reviews in Seattle, Washington

Tera Painting did a very nice job repainting our home. Tera was easy to schedule and coordinate with and their PM’s were always available/got back to me quickly when needed. I was a little hesitant to work with a shop that subs out this work, but it actually made things more efficient and easier. The house looks great and definitely makes us a lot happier to walk up to now that paint isn’t bubbling, flaking, and peeling off of every wall. We appreciate the work from Matt, Mark, Evan, the crew leads, and the crew.

The team at Tera was really easy to work with, very competitive with their bind and super responsive to last minute changes to our work order. I would work with them again anytime.

After the Tera Painting staff provided outstanding service to our HOA, I requested their services to repaint ceilings in my own condo unit. The Tera painters were so trustworthy, explained the rationale for the service provided, and were very obviously invested in doing an excellent job. Also, kudos to Ivan and Angel for the simple ease of working with you both. I definitely plan to use Tera Painting when additional needs arise!

Tera painting recently painted our house exterior and did a great job and the entire team was nice to work with.

Evan put a lot of effort in up front to scope the project and prepared a quality and detailed quote. During the painting the team was timely and conscientious. Carlos the foreman was great to work with, was their consistently, and made a big effort to address minor issues and paint holidays.

Our house had some rot in the window frames, trim boards and a soffit under the eve, and their carpenter Uher really fixed things right and at a reasonable rate. Rather than restoring with a rot fix product from Home Depot, he cut out the rotten boards, replaced them with new wood and sealed it all up proper.

Thank you Tera,

John

Tera painting did a great job painting the outside of my house. They really focused on prep, getting rid of old flaky paint, sanding, priming, and then painting. They also did some light carpentry replacing a rotted board. Great service and follow up on a missed spot. I highly recommend them!

Tera was great to work with from pre-project through to the end. They know their products and services extremely well. Will walk you through the process and what to expect, as well as be there for any questions or issues.

Highly recommend them for any painting work you might need.

Tera Painting did a wonderful job. The crew was great to work with, friendly, and they were very thorough. When the painting was done, the project manager came and checked it all thoroughly and made sure that all the details were taken care of. I definitely recommend them.

We were very pleased with the job Tera Painting did refinishing the cabinets in our kitchen. They were very accommodating about scheduling around our vacation schedule, and communication was excellent. Kevin was especially good about monitoring the project and making sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. Very responsive, friendly and competent.

We recently had our exterior painting project completed, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The crew was incredibly friendly, hardworking, and showed great attention to detail. They made our home look like new again—not only with a flawless paint job but also by going above and beyond to fix existing issues with the exterior. Every day, they left the job site clean and tidy, which we really appreciated.

The project management team was equally impressive—professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. They answered all our questions patiently, accommodated additional requests without hesitation, and visited the site multiple times each day to make sure everything was running smoothly. What stood out the most to us was how well they handled communication: every single request we made was implemented, and nothing ever slipped through the cracks.

It was truly a smooth and satisfying experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

EDIT: Tera did the work on our entire home cabinets included. We're incredibly happy with the outcome, and really only encountered project management issues briefly, which were immediately fixed. They were competitive in pricing and are high quality work (pictures to come). I highly recommend their team for any upcoming projects!

PREVIOUS: They were great and efficient! Their team did a great job of communicating for our exterior paint job on our townhouse. The overall job looks fantastic (our neighbors got their townhomes painted by Phinney Ridge 2 years prior) and blends perfectly with our neighbors homes. Super grateful for all the work they did, and we'll definitely stay in contact with their team for future projects!

We had a great experience with Tera Painting. They were very professional and laid out our options clearly. Because of our hundred year old house, our project ended up growing in scope. They were able to tear out the existing ceiling and replace with drywall without adding too many days to the project. Finished rooms look beautiful!

We contracted with Tera Painting for a townhome job in Maple Valley. They were very responsive. The bid was easy to acquire and they impressed me from the first contact to the last. Highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure working with Tera on our exterior paint job. The team was super communicative, kind, and professional, and they were accommodating to some last minute additions and changes to our estimate without charging us through the nose. Would definitely use them again for future services.

I had Tera Painting out to do some minor dry wall repair from some basement water damage we had a while back and then repaint a bathroom and do some touch up work on a corner that had delaminated. Josue at Tera did really great work and was on time each morning. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the experience of working with them. I’ll definitely use Tera Painting again in the future for both painting as well as drywall work!

They painted the exterior of our house. There were some problems with missed communications at the beginning with some resulting delays in getting the project started. Once Darwin arrived, he proceeded to do an excellent job in completing the job. He was careful and had a great tecnique with his work. We were happy with the result.

Short info: Great communication and excellent results!

Detailed info: Tera was very easy to work with. They came out to look at the house and gave us an official bid within a couple days. After we signed the contract, it was only a couple more days before they came out to prep the house. From to start finish of actually painting, it was less than a week, though it's worth noting that our house isn't very big.
Before they officially finished, Michael and Alex came by to do a walk around with us. We pointed out a couple spots that needed touched up, and Alex found a couple things he thought could look better. We didn't have to convince them to get the crew out to fix anything, they just did it! To err is human, but it's how you handle mistakes what separates the good from the great.
I would definitely recommend Tera. We love our new paint job!

Did the exterior of a townhouse complex and did a decent job. Had to make sure I had a paper trail for everything I said in case they tried to change the price or agreement, which they tried to with the roof top deck. They claimed they never agreed to stain the deck, which I had email proof of (luckily!). When they sanded and stained the rooftop decksc, I paid to have them replace the broken/old boards. i found they had skipped the boards on the other side of the railing, which I had to have them come back and fix. Post inspection, I also found 4-5 broken boards that they were going to charge me by the hour to come back and fix. They also trampled a tree beside the house and I had to get them to come back and post it back up.

Update: Matt, the owner, reached out to fix the issue hours after I posted this review. I sincerely respect the customer service and his attention to his business. Within the next couple days, he came and addressed the boards. Definitely makes a huge difference in the overall experience.

Update v2: just inspected my Weber gas grill while putting it away for the winter and there is speckled paint on the whole thing. Meaning they didn’t even attempt to cover the grill or move it up wind when they were painting.

This project went from stressful to very easy. Tera Came in and gave suggestions and guidelines And made everything pretty seamless. The two painters were lovely and prompt and did a wonderful job.

Tera Painting did a wonderful job painting our house. In addition, our interaction with the team, both managers and workers, was impeccable. It was a pleasure to have such hard-working professionals involved in the project. We changed our mind regarding color after the project started and they addressed the change calmly and quickly, the mark of an outfit that values good customer service. Special shout outs to Carlos, Evan and Hector for their good communication skills and obvious expertise.

We hired Tera Painting to paint our dated oak kitchen cabinets and entertainment center as well as apply a fresh coat of paint on our bathroom cabinets. This is a project I dreaded doing for obvious reasons, but their team made it as easy and painless as possible. L&S were wonderful to work with. They were very respectful, thoughtful of our time and space, great attention to detail, double checked the scope of work when in doubt, communicative and even put up with me very friendly and social dog. But most important of all they did a beautiful job on our cabinets…couldn’t be happier.

The crew from Tera Painting were among the best I've ever used. From the initial meeting to discuss the project and get a bid, to the timing of the work itself, and most of all, the final results. All were excellent. I'm rather picky when it comes to having work done on my home, and Tera was able to satisfy me with the quality of their work in refinishing the exterior wood doors on my house. Special shout-outs to Matt, Evan and of course Fabian!
