Constraction reviews in Seattle, Washington

The Charter Team was a pleasure to work with. They helped me with a ground up 5 story apartment project. Their staff is knowledgeable, responsible, and easy to work with. I would recommend Charter to anyone looking for a General Contractor for any sized project, and I will certainly use them again.

Charter Construction just wrapped up a major overhaul of our condo complex. They did a great job on the restoration. It looks wonderful. They used quality products (we checked them out) and the workmanship was excellent —we were able to observed the process because we continued to live in our units for the duration of the project. I appreciated how easy it was to work with the leadership team and how responsive they were to our requests. The ‘on the ground crew’ was great! I can’t imagine a nicer, more respectful or more talented and hard-working group of people. This was scheduled to be a 13 month project and they came in two months early (we did have a long stretch of good weather) and on budget.

I recently replaced my windows using Charter Construction. Eddie and his team were wonderful. They were always on time, very respectful of my home, organized and did a great job. Any necessary change related to the project was discussed with me. I am very happy with the final project.

I had a great experience with this construction company for my condo renovation in Kent, Washington. Tiare was our point of contact and was professional, responsive, and kept the project on track. The work was high-quality, completed on time, and within budget. Highly recommend!

We unfortunately had a house fire, and were in need of a team that was skilled in putting our house together and was able to communicate with our insurance company. Brad Blowers and Alex Gardner have showed up with excellence! I have been impressed by their good integrity and effective communication. They have put our house back together and walked us through a difficult process . They are extremely knowledgeable and kind, my family is so thankful and pleased.

Charter made access holes in our walls for some new wiring we were to have done. When the wiring was complete, Charter promptly came back, patched the holes, made the dry wall appear as new, painted and the walls are as good as new. We are very pleased by the work done by Charter Construction and their staff were very welcome in our home. We couldn’t be happier.

Charter Construction Repaired our home after the wildfire came through. I was extremely pleased with their attention to detail and workmanship especially their superintendent Lucas Liese. He was extremely easy to contact, addressed every question immediately or got the answers fast, coordinated all the subs and made sure they stayed on schedule as well as checking in daily to ensure the projects was moving along as planned and that we were satisfied with the work. If there were any issues, he addressed them immediately. I was a manager for 25 years, employees like Lucas are very rare to find, he represented Charter Construction extremely well and they are very fortunate to have an employee of his skill & character. I would hire Charter Construction again in a second if needed, and you should too!

I worked with Charter Construction daily for approximately 10 months on the first brick building to be seismically upgraded in the City of Seattle, in addition to a substantial alteration.

The Charter team was professional throughout the entire progress of the renovation. They were hard working, monitored every detail, resolved issues they encountered and kept me informed

On a residential project, I experienced the same quality of professionalism

Charter Construction is and has been outstanding.
Everyone from Charter Construction that I have met is above board, considerate, knowledgeable, and helpful.
They have brought in subcontractors who have done a quality job, are on time, and considerate.
I would not hesitate to hire Charter Construction again.
This project is a little over halfway done, I will write again when finished.
Great Job Charter!

The extensive remodel of our townhomes went very well. Communication was thorough and timely . All of the workers were courteous , efficient, keeping my home clean. The supervisors were easy to reach and answered all my questions. After years of a leaky roof and other issues, it’s so great to have everything completed. Our townhomes look beautiful! I highly recommend them. Thank you

We had a great experience with Charter Construction. Our insurance adjuster recommended them, and communication was pretty much seamless with the three of us. Our job supervisor Lucas was on top of everything, and always kept me in the loop. He was highly organized. The sub contractors were reliable, and work was done in a timely manner. All my concerns were addressed and corrected when needed. I would highly recommend Charter Construction.

United Church in University Place selected Charter Construction to repair the 60+ year-old wooden bridge that connects our parking lot to the front door of the church. They weren’t the lowest bid, but the quality and timeliness of their work, and their willingness to work with us when issues arose justified our choice.

Our condo owners association has used Charter for the past 12 years for water intrusion projects and drywall repair and painting, some very difficult. The company has always responded to our needs quickly and affordably with excellent management, work crew and work ethic. I highly recommend them.

Trung Nguyen,

I wanted to take a moment to commend you and your team for the outstanding work being done in our community. The crew has been consistently professional, hardworking, and respectful throughout the construction process. Their attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety have not gone unnoticed.

It’s clear that your leadership plays a significant role in how smoothly things are running. The team represents your company with integrity and pride, and it truly reflects the quality of your management. Even with the typical challenges that come with construction, the crew has gone above and beyond to be considerate of the residents and maintain a clean, organized worksite.

We’re genuinely impressed and grateful for the positive experience. Please pass along our thanks and appreciation to your entire team—they’re doing a fantastic job

We were so grateful to have had Charter Construction recommended to us after a complete house fire. During the tedious process of rebuilding, their communication was amazing, always available, thorough, and knowledgeable. The project manager Brian and Superintendent Lucas made sure to keep us informed throughout and were very respectful and understanding when emotions were involved. Their knowledge of the insurance industry and relationship with our insurance adjuster made it that more comforting and less stressful. We now have a beautiful home thanks to the team at Charter!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Charter Construction on a renovation project for my condo in Kent, WA. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and stress-free, thanks in large part to the professionalism and dedication of Tiare.

Her attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every aspect of the project. She ensured that all work was completed on time and to the highest standards, keeping me informed throughout the process and addressing any concerns promptly.

Charter Construction's reputation for excellence is well-deserved, and Tiare is a standout example of their team's dedication to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Charter Construction to anyone seeking reliable and skilled professionals for their construction needs.

Austin and Marcus led an outstanding team that handled everything from beginning to end, turning a potentially stressful project into a smooth, enjoyable experience. They provided expert counsel every step of the way, delivered the job exactly as promised, and went above and beyond with thoughtful extras that elevated the final result. Professional, reliable, and genuinely caring—highly recommended!

I wanted to give a shout out to the team working at The Baker in Tacoma. They are awesome. The crew is polite, tidy and professional. I am very appreciative of each crew member and the respect they are showing our homes while they do some difficult complex waterproofing repairs. Kudos to the team!

The Special Projects Team came in with the expertise and flexibility to take over and lead our remodel to excellent results! We immediately knew we could trust the team of people and the company in general, and they did not dissapoint. Things do not always go to plan, and when presented with a few surprises (difficulties or delays) Tyri Bethea in the office, and especially Eddie Mullin as the on-site lead, went above and beyond, with excellent communication, transparency, and good advice, all while minimizing the impact to our schedule and wallet. I wholeheartedly would recommend and endorse Charter Construction!

Project Riverview Ridge: Poor managment. Very disorganized, destruction everywhere, unsafe, bolts, nails and metal pieces, dirt everywhere around the property. Unfinished projects everywhere, total destruction. Very unprofessional, foul language and unpleasant music, not considered of the people living here. Do not recommend.

Charter is completing a very extensive renovation of our 130-unit condo property, and we are extremely happy with the results. They have been in all respects competent, professional, organized, cooperative, and informative. Residents have received weekly schedules of all planned work, and there have been very few “hiccups” in the process. Truong, Tiare, and the entire team (corporate and onsite) have been great at communicating and answering questions, and I also want to give an additional shoutout to another member of the team. As the only girl on the carpentry team, Cassie Bongs has obviously been visible at the project. She is not only extremely skilled at her job, but she has made many friends among the residents, who notice her every day (visibility, as I said!) and have sought her out with questions or concerns. In every instance, Cassie has either known the answer immediately or has investigated and escalated the question to her supervisor. In both cases, very satisfied customers!
