Ryan and his team are in the same industry as my own company and while we are competitors, we have also partnered with West Seattle Solar and Electric on several occasions in order to best serve customers. They are responsive and have done great work where we’ve referred them, and they have referred us on occasion as well. We are grateful to have another company we can trust to give referrals to who will treat customers as we would; respectfully and acting in their best interest. Ryan- we appreciate you!

We have had them do work a EV charger install and a couple of outlets and outlet changes and they’ve done an excellent job!!! And are about to use them a third time!!

WSES was great to work with. Ryan has an excellent crew, they are extremely knowledgeable very professional. Jay was the lead electrician for our job, great guy and very helpful.. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have known about the huge electrical problem our home inspector outright missed. He save us from our new house blowing up. All around a great company. I would have given them 5 stars, but a couple of items have been left up in the air and communication with the office has been difficult since the job has been done.

This is late, but we recently had an electrical panel installed. The whole process was a great experience. From meeting with Ryan, first at a home show, then to come give an estimate on the work to be done. The crew performing the work was great and very professional and personable. The project lead was Jay. I wish I could remember everyone else's names as they were all great.
Jay also came out this morning after the storm yesterday to check on the panel which had an issue with the power outage. Nothing wrong with the panel but came to check it out for us. To come out on short notice and the great communication with the whole company, to me, says a lot about the company. I can't recommend them enough.

The team has done several major jobs for me, so I write this review knowing not just one employee but I can count 10 different people I have interacted with from the owners, managers, labor and office, and they all portray those qualities. In particular, Jay and Stephen epitomize these standards. As a retired contractor and landlord, I can write this review with a strong recommendation to talk to Ryan from West Seattle Solar and Electric for projects you need. Although our job is not yet complete I wanted to give a shout out to how great these guys are. Jay has been so amazing in helping us resolve many problems with our very old electrical and seems quite diligent in making sure everything is safe. Francisco installed a new panel and did such a great job explaining everything that he did and what I would need to know for the future. My only complaint is that PSE took so long to move the service, which had nothing to do with these guys. I hope to be wrapping up this big job soon and am happy to have found someone I can use in the future. These guys are great!

I've known this company for several years now. I've come behind them on countless jobs patching and refinishing the openings that are part of rewiring a home. They're work is first rate. The breaker panels are all tight and the wiring is clean and thorough. His crews leave a clean house with cutouts from the walls neatly stacked, sometimes even labeled making shorter work of closing everything up and leaving the walls new again.
I meet the homeowners after Ryan's guys have finished and his customers love them. They are great to work with. 5 stars all the way.

Best electrician in town and it’s not even close. As a small business owner in the trades myself, I have so much appreciation for West Seattle Electric’s honesty, professionalism and quality of work.

I have worked with them for years. I have hired them as subcontractors, referred them to our clients and have never had a single issue to complain about. They are the kind of contractors people wish they could find more easily.

Ryan, the owner is a military vet with a heart of gold. He will quite literally do whatever it takes to make his clients happy and his employees feel valued. He and his dad, run a homeless shelter 4 months out of the year and Ryan is a long standing member of Bikers Against Child Abuse. They are always thinking of ways to give back to the community.

We insulated the attic of the shelter last year and I was overwhelmed watching the volunteers cook breakfast for people that really needed help. Few people take the time out from running a business to help others, the way that Ryan does.

Work with this company! Support the best kind of small business! You’ll be so glad you did.

West Seattle installed my solar panels back in 2012, replaced two panels damaged by a falling tree limb in 2019 and performed some basic electrical upgrades as well. They were always quick to respond and very cost competitive. As I'm looking to increase my solar capability while the tax credit still exists, West Seattle will be my go to source for the upgrade.

Called West Seattle Electric and Solar for a new outlet installation. They were there that afternoon and the price was far less than I expected! Great job Jay and Devin!

I highly recommend West Seattle Electric & Solar. I have used them various times for home electrical needs including deck lights installation and interior fixtures installation and repair. Recently Alon installed a fixture and dimmer switch in my home office and repaired a couple aging can lights. He was super friendly, skilled and very efficient. I also really enjoy Naomi in the office who makes scheduling easy and is always kind and communicative.

West Seattle Electric is a great, professional company. Francisco and his crew were very friendly and detailed in their explanation of what the issues were and how to resolve them. They took careful action in installing new wiring and drywall was easily repaired afterwards. The process was relatively fast for the amount of work that my house needed. The office staff were also very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

My electricity in a portion of my house went completely dead, I reached out to Ryan and he had his team out the same day. Within minutes they had the electricity working again. Also, they fixed the wiring in my bathroom and put in a new receptacle. They were quick, and did an amazing job. West Seattle Electric will always be my go to for my electricity needs!

Ryan came out and assessed our home for solar panels. Unfortunately do to large trees that shade our home it wasn't going to give us the best ROI. Ryan was honest about this and gave us some options to maximize return by using less panels. Overall it didn't make sense for us but we really appreciated his honesty and experience. Would recommend.

Jay and his crew were great. They replaced our panel, installed ev chargers, and pulled some circuits. The team was on time, professional, and did a great job. Ryan, the owner was personable and honest when we had our walkthrough with him. Casey in the office was responsive and patient while we worked through some changes in the things we wanted. We’d def use WS Electric again!

A few years ago my wife and I had an upgrade done to our knob & tube wiring to have it upto current regulations. At 1st this company came in at a reasonable bid. But unfortunately they weren't able to job as estimated. These folks came in to the tune of 6k higher and caused unnecessary damage to the walls for access points in which they only were only willing to cover half the cost. To add to the issue regarding this company. When my wife & I went to their office to drop off a certificate check for the job. Once we arrived at their office they had on display a "BLM" flag in the window which my wife and I found to be very offensive do to the ideology this company supports. To top things of when the final inspection was done the company had a female employee there when the inspector was there as a distraction which led to the job being signed off on with an exposed live 220 volt with which was a potential danger for fire, humans or our dogs. This company needs to seriously rethink it's business practices.

Great experience from the start. When I first called West Seattle Electric, Amy took my information and asked questions about electrical issues. I can tell her questions was to triage and identify the correct electrician to send out for my specific situation. She collected my availability and promptly called back to schedule based on earliest availability.

My electrician, Jay Anderson, was top notch. Amazing customer service: both knowledgeable and friendly. He troubleshooted my doorbell, requiring multiple trips up and down my unfinished attic to inspect wiring. He provided clear detail & explanations for what he was looking for, explaining his process the whole way. I appreciated his diligence and commitment to figure out what was going wrong and fix it. He returned my attic in the same condition he found it in (after having to move a lot of insulation) and he was clean & tidy working inside my house.

West Seattle Electric did an amazing job installing my new Leviton Electrical Smart Panel, whole house surge protector, EV chargers for 2 cars, and swapping out all my electrical outlets in my home. All devices are working properly with no issues. His staff was professional and courteous. I recommend installing a whole house surge protector as the solar flares zapped my brand new furnace electrical components and the fix was expensive. Well worth the investment. These days people have so many new digital devices such as shower controls it's a good idea to protect expensive equipment.

Had 6 quotes/estimates for a service upgrade to 200A along with some smaller projects and the one I got from WSES was the most detailed while containing several options. With several of the other companies, I got hand-wavy answers to all my questions for why things might be needed, but not WSES. Everything was explained clearly and I walked away actually understanding the reasoning behind changes.

Living in an older house, I've come to expect many "surprises" and I knew that was a likely possibility with this project. WSES was the only option that called out some of the likely surprises they might find.

The crew was very professional, always on time, and answered all of my questions when I had them. I got frequent progress updates and power was provided while the power to my house was out.

I could not recommend Ryan and his crew enough!

I loved working with West Seattle Electric on my DADU. They were fast, professional, and communicated really well as the project progressed. They finished the job ahead of schedule and under budget. I could not have been happier with their work.
