My wife and I wanted to upgrade our service panel, add some more lights and outlets in rooms, and fix some electrical issues we found in our 1930s house. We were recommended to work with Sun Path Electric by a Seattle electrical inspector who had inspected their work in the past and was consistently impressed. We're glad we contacted Sun Path Electric--we were really pleased with the whole experience!

The communication throughout was excellent. The electrician leading the team, Briggs, called us several times to verify details, let us know when the power would be out, and approximately how long each step would take. The install started on Thursday and was planned to finish on Friday evening. The work was done by Briggs, Joey, and Bryn--all three of them were professional and friendly, letting us know occasionally how the work was going and anytime they ran into snags that impacted the timeline. On the Friday evening, there was still a little work to be done, so Briggs checked with us and returned on Saturday to finish it up.

Overall, we were very impressed with Sun Path Electric and the team that did the work--we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

The installation was very quick. They took care of everything, and suggested multiple options available for financing. Never once did we feel like we were being up sold, or being pushed to pick a product to make a sale.

Sun Path Electric did a A++ job start to finish (bidding to inspection) installing a photovoltaic solar array and a power-outage battery backup system. This was a complex system with lots of engineering choices to be made and it was a fun creative exercise at every step working through the various options with Briggs and his team. Super nice and super professional, and everything is working perfectly.

So I didn’t go with Sun Path for a new system, but I needed one taken off for a new roof. Some of the quotes were pretty outrageous, and I ended up going with Sun Path. They had a very fair price, and I’m thinking they probably have pretty competitive pricing for a new system.

I was in pretty urgent need to get my system removed, in the middle of winter. I got in contact with the owner Kristy when she was on vacation in Mexico, around New Years if I remember correctly. They couldn’t guarantee me an exact date, but I wasn’t passing on the price. She worked with me and fit me in between jobs to get my panels off, and put back on, in about a three week span. This was in early February so I didn’t mind too much. But she got me operational by March, and that is critical because I start producing my net metering bank in March.

I would suggest not going with the big company that starts with a L and rhymes with our professional football field here in Seattle. I had a great experience with Sun Path. Thanks again.

Contacted about nine different solar installers but Sun Path Electric was easily the best of the bunch. They had the same panels and inverters that all the installers carry, but their team and price point easily set them apart. I was impressed with the very first phone call with Sonja, their project manager, and was continued to be impressed by Joey and Bryn, the installers, and Kristy and Briggs, the owners. Everyone was knowledgeable, patient and chill. The installation was a breeze with zero issues and again, price per panel was less expensive (including installation) than anyone else. A true value of a company. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Sun Path was our solar installer and we couldn't be happier with their work. We had multiple bids and felt most comfortable with Sun Path do to the personal touch their team brings. Their main installer, Briggs, was very communicative during the install and the job was complete on time even with some quirks of our house.

We were also wanting to install a Level 2 Car charger and the other solar installers said our panel wouldn't support and would need to be upgraded. Briggs took the time to pop off the cover and look at what we had going on and ultimately determined what we had was workable and ended up installing the outlet with no issues.

We've been remodeling our 1950s house for a few years and Sun Path has been the best company we have worked with on any project!

We have been very happy in our experience with Sun Path Electric. Echoing a lot of what other people have been saying here, they gave us the best price of all the companies we spoke with, and they have been the best contractors that we have worked with in our remodel so far.

Sonya was very patient in answering our many many questions before we decided to proceed, and communication has been prompt and responsive throughout the process. There were a couple of curve balls during installation, like a roof covered in ice and a defective panel, but they handled every issue right away and have always made sure our concerns were addressed promptly, and their lead electrician Briggs spent almost two full days at our home making sure everything was operating as it should.

If you're considering a solar installation, I highly recommend them.

We're very proud to be new owners of a rooftop solar panel array! Sun Path Electric was great to work with from start to finish. They were super flexible and responsive throughout, and incredibly willing to work with our setup, limitations, and questions. Their work was stellar, and everything's been working for the past few weeks without a hitch (it's super fun tracking our electricity generation and usage through the solar app). They went above and beyond as well to help us integrate our new solar panels and battery with our smart SPAN panel, and we'll definitely be returning to Sun Path if we decide to upgrade to even more panels or batteries in the future.

Update 2 years later: Everything is still going swimmingly and we've added 5 new panels! Sun Path continues to be fantastic and has worked seamlessly and super professionally with our various 3rd party contractors (from electricians to roofing).

I highly recommend Sun Path for your solar project. From the initial bid to the final completion of the project my experience was excellent. Pricing is excellent, the panels are local, and the install team were very nice and professional. There was even a small issue with my install which I desired to have changed and they came out immediately and made the changes.

I was honestly real confused about getting solar and didn’t know who to trust. These guys walked me thru the whole thing without being pushy. They came out to check my roof and explained how much I could save. The install was quick and the crew cleaned up after themselves which I really appreciated. Panels look good and seem to be working great so far. Only thing was the permit took a bit longer than I thought but not their fault. They kept me updated the whole time and answered my questions fast. Glad I went with them and not one of those big companies.

We had a wonderful experience with Sun Path Electric. We’d thought solar was out of reach for us, but Sun Path created avenues for change that put reducing our carbon footprint firmly in our control. We were even able to work through the logistics of a secure power supply, and future expansion into battery backup. Although I generally do not write recommendations, I had such an outstanding experience with Sun Path Electric that I felt compelled to share. Sun Path Electric installed solar panels and a battery backup system for me 2 ½ years ago at our residence.. Having worked with contractors and subcontractors for 50 years, I can confidently say they provided exceptional service.
The installation was impressive, even to the City, PSE, and L&I, who inspected the all complimented the work during the inspection. Considering the our residence is over 90 years old, they faced unique challenges but handled them effectively.
What stands out the most is the support I have received over the last few years. I encountered several issues unrelated to the solar panel and battery backup system that affected the system's performance. Sun Path’s assistance in resolving these issues was invaluable. Their follow-up and problem-solving skills have truly made a difference. They are the best in the business.

Sun Path Electric handled our solar installation flawlessly. Everyone we worked with there was friendly, professional and really wonderful to work with. We had a few complications since we needed a new control panel to handle the additional service requirements, and Briggs and his team handled all of this extremely well. We also had to spend a little extra time and effort to bring Seattle City Light along with our plan, and again the team from Sun Path made this happen. This is for the Las Vegas Location: My A/C unit went down and I needed an Electrician as well to help resolve the issue. I called Electrician Pro at 9:45 PM and luckily Jeff picked up and scheduled an appointment with me for the next day. The Electrician Bless showed up on time and was fast, efficient, and friendly. I will be using ElectricianProToday again in the future.

Solterra did a great job overall with our backup battery system installation, it is a wonderful system that has been working flawlessly and provides peace of mind knowing that if power from the grid is lost we will still have power. I appreciate everything done by Marvin, Aaron, Tim, Kendall, Paige, Neil and Rochele. They thoroughly explained the operation and answered all our questions. We already have a solar panel system from Solterra which was installed in 2018 that has worked great so adding the battery system was icing on the cake.
