I had to go out of town for a week and had transplanted a number of large shrubs only 2 weeks before. A heat wave was predicted! I saw Justin's ad on Craig's list and texted a request for watering services. Without ever meeting, we returned home to find all the shrubs in better condition than I had been able to accomplish living here. Thanks so much, Justin!

Justin is a superb landscaper who is meticulous in his work and multi-talented with expertise in lawn care, plant selection and placement, and drainage management, He also is a hard worker, reliable and reasonable with pricing. He provided excellent service for more than 5 years before we recently sold our home. I recommend him without reservation.

Recognizing that the pandemic has slowed things down, my partner and I were very understanding when we were told that our project may take a little longer to progress as people are working virtually and everything.

After 3 emails and 4 voicemails, we have finally made contact with the company and our project is being worked again. We had received no updates or responses to calls or voicemails in almost a month, at which time we were told "sorry we didn't get the agreed upon plans to you sooner, here's a (outdated) copy of the plan and we will be having a costing meeting soon." There was a fairly long delay between discussion of our project and the costing meeting, but we spoke to the owner and they were very apologetic. The delay was disappointing, and the plans came out way over budget, but we are in discussion with them and making changes. I do appreciate their willingness to explain each part of the project and where the costing and decisions are coming from.

We are an architect firm, we use True Scape for the landscaping designs. We prefer to use them over other landscaping design companies because they are efficient and have really good quality. They are easy and great to work with.

True scape could not have been a better team to work with. Everything from the thoughtful design ideation and 3D modeling to the responsive and careful work crews. They did a fantastic job redoing our fencing and a full remodel of our back yard and patio. They always respected our budget and found great ways to improve the space. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

Truescape made me feel comfortable and they were willing to educate me on many aspects of my project I was definitely uninformed in. We hired True Scape Design to bring our front yard vision to life and they did not disappoint. It was a huge job, with a two tier retaining wall, new hardscape patio, new concrete steps, and a lot of custom metalwork. The end result was absolute perfection and even better, they stayed on budget and were true professionals to work with from design through final installation!

We were blown away at how they asked all the right questions to get to know what we really wanted in our new yard, and then continued to listen though the design and build phases. They never made us feel awkward for asking silly questions when we worried about the details, and they were always on top of keeping us informed on the process and progress. We had an extremely positive experience working with Truescape Design. From our initial outreach phone call, through estimating, and construction I found Truescape to be thorough, responsive, and customer service-oriented.

I really appreciated how much care Jake (Site Lead) put into the construction work (he seems to be a true craftsman!), and the excellent trouble-shooting Ian & Jake & Caryl did on the fly throughout construction.

The scope of work included demo, grading, block retaining wall construction, artificial turf installation, concrete paver patio installation, fencing & gates, composite decking, custom railings, and new gravel parking spot. They also coordinated with other subs working on our parallel project to install a new Tuff Shed and route electricity to it.

We love our completed backyard. It is a dream come true. Thank you again for a 5-star experience!

We had a major retaining wall project installed, as well as a new fence, patio and plantings in our backyard. There were so many moving parts in our complicated project and True Scape was instrumental in making the parts work together. From filing and navigating the arduous city permit process, coordinating subcontractors, installing the new fence and landscaping, keeping us in the loop and minding the budget—True Scape was excellent. Additionally, they were invaluable in communicating with all the neighbors about what the project would entail and how long it would take and assuaging their concerns.

Additionally, during the project they were willing to pause to discuss a few design elements that were hard to foresee, and work with us to tweak the plans to make a better end result. The crew showed up every day, rain or shine, and they were neat and tidy and left the job site in good shape during the two-month project. We would work with them again.

My family and I have been really impressed and delighted with the design and quality of our home landscaping from True Scape Design. The initial design process went very smoothly with their team helping us quickly create a plan to meet our needs. The initial design presented to us was so consistent with what we had described, but added creative adjustments to make it even better than we could have imagined. I am amazed by Joe, the owner, and his team at True Scape Design. Their exceptionally professional nature, integrity, and thoroughness in listening to my ideas about my outdoor space upgrade was a breath of fresh air. After filling out a detailed questionnaire about what I envisioned for my new deck/landscaping, Joe visited my home to look at the site so that he could connect my vision to my property. Following the in-person meeting, he met with his team to come up with preliminary ideas and plans for my project, then called to debrief me on the team meeting and answer my questions. Very rude customer service professional. Either don't advertise business hours as open and receive calls, and if you do, be respectful to the customers calling with new business. Definitely do not recommend the company.

Ben and his team did an excellent job from writing the estimate and communicating with me, to putting in a new lawn, rock pathways with borders, plant installations, tree trimming..... Ben also gave me helpful information on how to best care for my lawn and plants. His team was courteous, friendly, on time, and went above and beyond to help me make my yard look like a beautiful park. I highly recommend them!

The Tree Frog crew came out to remove a small patch of old grass and replace it with sod, as well as dig up a couple of small juniper bushes. Their work was excellent. They were respectful of protecting the deck they had to cross to get to the grass. They went above and beyond and helped us put chicken wire over the new sod to protect it from crows and raccoons. They cleaned up everything at the end. I give this crew high marks and will happily reach out to Tree Frog whenever I have additional landscaping and yardwork.
