We had uses Zeke's servicesr several years and consider ourselves extremely lucky to have found him.If you are a perfectionist and want a perfect job then you need look no further. He and his crew take their jobs seriously and strive to give you their best job possible. We knew that we had hired a winner when we noticed that he did not blow grass clippings into the garden and dirt areas.If he sees that a job is not quite the way he likes it he will do it over again. Everything that he did for us was never below a rating of 10.
When we recently moved we tried to convince him that he should go with us. But alas due to his professionalism and loyalty to his current customers he is staying in the Seattle area. Our loss but everyone else's gain. Good luck Zeke.

Was looking for landscape company to help out a few friends in Seattle that needed some retaining walls done and the guy Hung up on me. Was very unprofessional and do not recommend this company to no one!

The Monetti team is the best. They helped us transformed our yard into an amazing oasis. We were building a DADU at the end of our driveway for my Mother in Law.

We asked Mitch Monetti to help us re-design our yard to ensure that my Mother in Law didn't feel like she was stuck in a DADU at the end of a driveway, and magically, that is what the Monetti team did. We keep referring to our private oasis as our vacation land.

We had Monetti Landscape install a stone walkway and patio. They did an excellent job. Mitch, his superintendent, stone mason, and crew were great to work with and very helpful and professional.

Things that have impressed us about Mitch include his artistic eye, quality, versatility, responsiveness, and "thinking long term". More details about this are below. We're very happy we went with Mitch, and would recommend him in a heartbeat. Many of our neighbors have remarked on the quality of his work and want to hire him as well. ### How did we choose them? ###
We live in West Seattle (near Trader Joe's), and discovered Mitch on the West Seattle Blog. We wanted to support a local West Seattle business. We got a couple of local quotes. Mitch's bid was on par with others, but had better attention to detail and bigger picture thinking. We're very glad we went with Mitch!

### More details ###
* Artistic eye - He pointed out how we had a lot of unnatural elements in our backyard, and suggested going with a rock style bench to break it up. Also had ideas on covering certain concrete areas with a natural colored stucco which we hadn't thought of but agree with.
* Quality - Things like the fence don't have any wood into the ground, but rather metal poles that the wood sits on top of. There were very few blemishes/concerned with the work, and any we saw Mitch addressed.
* Versatile - Mitch was largely single-handedly yielding a small excavator, building a picket fence with curving, and rock retaining wall/bench.
* Responsive - Whether over email, txt, or phone, Mitch was prompt in responding.
* Thinking long term - As we started excavating, we realized that it would be a good time to do other changes (e.g., remove more overgrown bushes, add a new retaining wall). Mitch was receptive to these (and proposed some of them too) and was able to make them happen.

Mitch helped us design a complete backyard renovation and carried it out on schedule. We are very happy with the results. He listened, observed and helped create a vision for our space that we couldn’t see for ourselves.

We have used Mitch several times in the last ten years. The last time was a complete rebuild of the hardscape in our Queen Anne backyard. At the same time, Mitch worked on a similar rebuild of our neighbors' backyard. The projects involved a lot of coordination and management since we shared a long fence and needed to make decisions about a new and old retaining wall. Our work also involved building a deck, an outdoor kitchen type space, steel planters, bluestone paving, and separate outdoor "rooms." Mitch accomplished this complex project with skill and aplomb. Mitch communicated in a timely manner and the quality of workmanship was high. I would recommend Mitch without reservation.

Mitch did a great job putting in a stone patio under our second-story back deck where the grass wouldn't grow. We liked it so much, we hired him to put a stone pathway around the front yard between the border and the center. It turned out to require a short retaining wall as well, which became the highlight of the path. Great design, flexibility and execution.

Mitch Monetti's crew built an amazing project project here in the fall of '21. They transformed a difficult space into an incredible backyard living space. Mitch really has a seasoned group of craftsmen that worked well together. The team worked tirelessly through some really difficult weather. Highly recommended!

Our experience with Mitch at Monetti Landscape was fantastic. We had the most boring front setup and Mitch took our hopes and dreams from concept to reality. We had an unusable space that could only be accessed by climbing an already existing tiered rock wall. He designed a catwalk that bridged over our driveway, giving us access from our front door entrance into this expansive, new dreamland. From there he moved massive rocks, created a beautiful new rock scape that is elevated above the sidewalk, and finished things off by installing a custom iron fence. In the Summer months especially, we consider this space an added room for our family and friends to enjoy. Alongside great design, his plant choices fit our needs and have grown in wonderfully in the years since completion. Added bonus: If catch him on the right day, he may even bring a lollipop to you and your family on that first visit when the dreaming begins. Thanks Mitch & Co.

Mitch and his team are top notch from design to installation. He spent time getting to know me and my vision for what I wanted for my yard and I went from the worst yard on the block to the best. He was able to find some rare plants for my yard that always get a lot of attention. It's fun to sit by the fire pit and hear people in the neighborhood stop and admire his work. He created an amazing space that my friends and family have enjoyed time and time again both in warm and cold months. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for small and large scale projects.

Working with Mitch and his team was a great pleasure! We found Mitch through a neighbor whose landscape we admired. Also, Mitch is a West Seattle local and we were happy to find out we are supporting a West Seattle business, but that was just a bonus - it was Mitch's unique style that brought us to him. Mitch was so patient with us during the design process. We had a general idea of what we wanted and Mitch took time going through several variations with us, incorporating elements of the existing yard where possible. During construction, he was always responsive when we had a question or wanted to connect. He kept us updated on the construction schedule and, again, very patient with us when we wanted to make a change.

We only did a part of our landscaping this year. Someday when we are ready to do the rest of our yard there is no question we are going to Mitch first!

I was admiring my neighbor's landscaping last year and got the name of her Landscaper. Monetti Landscape started the project with a beautiful new deck. Design and implementation was completed in a little over 2 weeks. I love the design and the decking, that is easy to clean and will not deteriorate. Five stars.

New to West Seattle. Feel blessed to be here. Unfortunately, we were not as excited about the yard as we were about the house and its location. We learned about Monetti Landscape Design & Construction from a neighbor who’d had some work done the year before.
In short; Mitch devised a plan based on our input, and when the weather permitted, the Monetti team did a great job making the plan become a reality. Always professional, always friendly, always taking time to answer questions regardless of how busy they were. We are so pleased with how this turned out.

I am sharing this review here which I also placed on the Chamber of Commerce website. Mitch Monetti has helped us build our yard from front to back. We have worked with Mitch for 15 plus years in three stages to complete our dream yard. He has helped us accomplish our vision and also provided clear advice on what works and what does not. Mitch has a consultative style that facilitates the formation of personalized plans and completed projects. He also brings the perspective of the artist that he is. I can offer no greater recommendation than that we have used and valued his expertise in completing three projects and would do so again except we have run out of yard that has not been landscaped by Mitch already!

Spent over 30k you can't even call to talk to someone. Mailbox is full. Sent a email on the 2/3 didn't get a response till 2/22!! Still not answering my question requesting a call

The three landscapers worked diligently throughout the day. I wish I had pictures of the "before and after" which would tell the story. I was satisfied and happy at the final result.

I don't understand why I can't get this company to return emails or phone calls. I've emailed and called 3 times to a Clara.. Are u that busy past spent doesn't matter now?
