I cannot recommend Make It Wright highly enough. I’ve worked with several HVAC companies over the years, and Matthew and his team stand far above the rest. From the first interaction, Matthew was exceptionally kind, professional, and transparent, qualities that are surprisingly rare in this industry.

What sets Make It Wright apart is how involved Matthew is as the owner. He is frequently on-site supervising or performing the work, laying out the plan with his crew, and ensuring everything is done with care and precision. His team reflects his values: conscientious, diligent, respectful of your home, and incredibly skilled. They are careful with every step of an install and take real pride in doing things the right way rather than finishing the job as fast as possible.

One of the biggest advantages of working with them is their ability to cut new ducting on-site, which saved me significant time, cost, and the hassle of coordinating additional subcontractors. When I replaced my old furnace with a new mini-split system, Matthew rerouted my cold air return from the floor into the ceiling and integrated everything seamlessly with my existing ductwork. The system works beautifully, far more efficiently, and having AC has been a game-changer in the summer.

What impressed me most was Matthew’s honesty and advocacy. He proactively walked me through available rebates, explained how to get the best possible price, and even advised me to wait on another project so I could benefit from upcoming tax incentives. It is incredibly rare to find a contractor who will tell you to wait so you can save money.

The quality of their work and customer service has been outstanding every time, over several years. I have brought them back for maintenance, and I have referred multiple friends and neighbors who have all had excellent experiences as well.

If you are looking for an HVAC business that is trustworthy, meticulous, fairly priced, and genuinely cares about its customers, Make It Wright is the gold standard. I would not go anywhere else.

This place is a total scam. I own add a ball arcade in Fremont and our regular repair guy was busy so I called Nortech , that was a big mistake. Nice guy shows up and spends 15mins recharging the gas on our walk in and charges us $759 . I asked what they charge hourly and he responds "we just charge by the job". Taking advantage of business that been shut down for a year and are just getting back on there feet is messed up. Ask them what they will charge before you start the job.

Hard to schedule, techs show up unprepared. Couldn't do the fix and left us with no refrigerator when only the freezer was broken before the tech showed up. This was a Friday, and still 4 days later he hasn't been back, costing us hundreds of dollars in spoiled food. So unprofessional!

Our AC died right before the hottest recorded day in Seattle history. I called every HVAC place we could find, and I wasn't able to find anything earlier than 3 weeks out—for the places that called me back at all.

Norman at Nortech was able to schedule us for the next day, and extended his hours into the late evening to get our AC fixed and get my family back into our house during this heatwave.

Along the way, he answered all of my questions about our system, and walked me through how he diagnosed what went wrong and common AC system problems so that I'd be better equipped in the future if I had a similar problem.

Getting the repair was pricey, but less than I would have spent on in a hotel for days or at the ER after electrocuting myself trying to fix the system on my own.

Please note, this review is based only on service inquiring. Responded quickly to service request. Service fee was quoted as $149 per hr. They did not have an immediate availability and we found another company that was available sooner. But still will reach out to Nortech in the future.

Norman and his skilled crew are prompt, knowledgeable, and kind. They responded right away, having next day, even same day service. My fridge is better than new, and I thought it was a goner 😊

Hai was polite, responded quickly, communicated timelines, and showed up when he said he would. Price was as communicated. Did the job and made sure it was done right. Highly recommended.

After waiting the duration of my 4 hour window for a service consultation with no show, I called Nortech only to be told that my service had been postponed a day (without anyone letting me know). Contractors that show zero respect for my time don’t get my business.

Called Nortech to have my Furnace repaired during the cold spell Service technician showed up at the house almost instantaneously.

He did the diagnostic and pin pointed the defective parts right away. Our furnace is very old so he had a difficult time searching for a part supplier. Technician has to go and pick up the part 20+ miles away from the house. He made sure the furnace is fixed and got it operational right away.

The service was excellent. I have been a customer for about 13 years. They have installed and serviced my ac, furnace and recently the mini split in my family room. We have always been pleased with their work and professionalism. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

Do not use this company. We have a very simple repair we've needed for months. They were very quick to diagnose the problem, take our diagnosis fee, and then disappear. Each time we call, it's a different excuse, and they've missed several follow-up appointments.

Called Nortech for an electrical repair to my foodtruck’s cooler/prep station unit. Hai came out within the hour and found the problem, fixed it and kept us running on time. Can not recommend this conpany enough. Our AC went out on us on Friday night right before the heat wave. They where able to come out late Saturday evening to inspect the ac and furnace (that had no power do to me trying to fix it). They picked up the parts Monday and where able to come back same day and take care of us. The technician was super friendly and fast. Will be keeping their number and recommending friends.

I live in a large, historic home in Seattle, so when the heat exchanger in my furnace began leaking carbon monoxide into my home, I called a number of businesses to come inspect it. The company, Nortech Heating and Cooling, was one of the ones that I contacted. It was a pleasure to have them at my home because they were kind and respectful of my property. They wanted to know whether it was acceptable to me if they came into my garage and looked at the furnace. Of course, I responded affirmatively. Opening the furnace revealed that there was a crack in the heat exchanger, which they were able to identify very quickly. They quickly repaired the problem and had my heater up and running again in no time. I was quite happy with the results of their efforts.

Nortech has helped me out twice, and I've been happy both times! They are very professional and quick to respond. The first time was when my furnace stopped working altogether. It was the middle of winter and I was afraid that I'd lose all of my heat! Nortech came right out to look at my furnace and were able to get it up and running again within a few hours. The second time that I used them, it was because of an issue with the fan motor. Again, they were able to diagnose the problem quickly and get it fixed in no time. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I plan on using Nortech for all of my heating service needs from now on.

We have a somewhat rare unit that most people won’t touch, but Hai took care of our problem. He’s knowledgeable and skilled, and I will call again for help with any other issues.

Great service provided by Hai. he diagnosed the problem and fixed the initial problem. Got the boiler running and was waiting for the boiler to heat up. he was going to fix the shoddy wiring afterwards but then discovered another problem. The boiler was leaking water. I need to replace my boiler. Fair price for the service spending 1.5 to 2 hours.

Norm and his team did an astounding Job with our walk in refrigerator repair. They were prompt, professional. I was lucky that I used them and will definitely use them again. I can’t recommend this company enough!!! 5 star service!
