Matt and his crew at "Make it Wright" deserve the highest rating with me and I set HIGH standards. I needed my air conditioning system replaced in conjuction with my existing oil furnace and Matt did a phenomenal job coordinating every detail. I totally loved that they were always available for calls and questions on everything and were always on time for appointments and left a text when they were on the way to my place. Also when there was later glitch due to the furnace, they jumped into action and got everything rectified. Cudos to Colin for rectifying that! They all worked together well and I highly rcommend them.

Our experience with Make it Wright HVAC was entirely positive. They installed a Mitsubishi air source ducted heat pump and air handler. There was no hard sell and the price was competitive, with an estimate which went into detail which we appreciated. Matt went over the many considerations with us such as sizing, outdoor unit location, and backup heat (which we were glad to omit). Having had concerns with other companies regarding license violations we found no problems there either. They did excellent work, with extra care with the air handler ducting and refrigerant lines. I would highly recommend them.

Matthew Wright, owner of Make It Wright, goes over and beyond to make sure things are taken care of. He made time during a cold freeze on a Sunday for the first visit on short notice when our furnace died. Very professionally talked us through various options with advantages and disadvantages. Guided sizing the proper heat sink based on real world experience in the Puget Sound. Oversaw the install, checked back to ensure all was working as promised during the cold streak in Dec 2023.

And nearly 6 months later, still following up to make sure all the city paperwork is completed in proper order.

"It will be done Right" is how Matthew personally runs a professional business with a play on his last name. It was a pleasure working with him, and he meets the standard by which all business owners should strive for.

We were very pleased with the workmanship and follow up provided by Make it Wright. They installed a heat pump for our home while we were going through coinciding renovations. They creatively worked around some of the issues this presented and installed our heat pump. When adjustment needed to be made after the initial install, they returned to site and improved the foundation. They cared about the final product and provided excellent customer service. I would definetly recommend Make it Wright and trust their work and commitment to customer's satisfaction.

Make It Wright did an excellent job with my conversion from my oil furnace to a heat pump system. The company handled everything, from an electric panel upgrade to removal of the old furnace and decommissioning the underground oil tank. Their price was reasonable and all the crews involved were thorough and hard-working. I highly recommend them.

We asked Matt to diagnose a problem we were having with our old furnace early last year. He was gracious enough to fix the problem that evening, but did inform us the furnace was needing to be replaced. Fast forward to just before Christmas and it broke down again (different issue). We decided to bite the bullet and have it replaced. Matt gave us estimates for several options and his recommendations. We chose a much more efficient gas furnace and could not be happier. Matt and his crew worked through the weekend and we had a new quiet furnace putting out even heat in our old Ballard home before Christmas. We would highly recommend Make it Wright HVAC!

Matt, Romero, Noel, and Josue did such a great job in fixing a recurrent leak problem that other HVAC companies couldn't find. Their approach to finding the cause of our heat pump leaks (indoor coil and line sets) was so methodical and measured, it was wonderful to see their competence and results! Our unit worked great during the 95° temps we had in mid-July! Thanks Make It Wright!

Matt, Rod, Ramiro, Erik, and the entire Make it Wright team are excellent. Every person we interacted with was friendly, professional, and skilled.

No part of the job was out of scope - from planning and system design, removal of old equipment, electrical work, floor and ceiling cuts, ducting, all the way to the install and system configuration. They did it all. They even got a huge decommissioned oil furnace out of our crawl space. And they did some tricky duct work to navigate around supports and joists without any cuts.

They ask questions to stay ahead of unknowns and make good judgement calls when the work requires an audible to stay on track.

There were no cost overruns, the work was timely, and they were incredibly respectful of us and our home.

Above all else, their work looks and performs great! We love our new whole home heat pump system.

I Recently contracted Make It Wright to replace my gas furnace with a heat-pump system. We had gotten bids from 5 companies, which were competitively priced and professionally presented, though only Make It Wright was willing to cater to our preference of doing a central system rather than a multi head ductless system. The other contractors baulked at the complexity of getting new equipment into the cramped mechanical area in our house, as well as running the requisite return to the upstairs of our house, which all of the contractors agreed would be needed for AC to work well in the summer.

Matthew Wright (the owner), did the initial inspection and quotes himself and was very willing to entertain my ideas about how we could get things done. Together we came to a solution, which was to mount the new equipment in the attic, and run the outlet down a awkwardly positioned chase, and an extra return through the back of a cupboard. All things considered this was a very elegant solution.

Matthew brought in a crew of around 4-6 people (varying by day) for a total of 5 days. The original quote was 3 days of work, but alas the old house had some difficulties that could not be fully known until work was under way. Matthew and his crew work diligently through very long hours to get things done as quickly as possible, there was no hint of up charging, they simply did the work that was agreed to a great standard.

All of the crew were pleasant to have in the house, they did the appropriate amount of cleaning between days and the house was spotless at the end of the job. Our young kids enjoyed the small interactions with the crew, and missed them when they were finished!

There was a single item of follow up work that was completed same day without extra charge and fully rectified our concerns.

Overall I would say the Make It Wright team excels the communication with the customer necessary to make sure everyone is on the same page, their workmanship seems top notch too! I believe we received a good value quote for the work that was undertaken, especially as we opted into the "hard way", and we don't regret it!

Matt Wright, of Make It Wright HVAC, took on my nightmare HVAC situation left from the terrible installation of a heat pump mini-split system by a different company.

They pulled ALL the correct permits and then in a matter of days fixed ALL the lines and HVAC code violations and it passed the city inspection.

Matt and his team have a very good working relationship. The installers were qualified, polite and hardworking. Andy and Matt 'held my hand' through the process, which helped ease my stress greatly!

At my request, Matt recommended a contractor to fixed the damage done to a structural wall by the previous HVAC installers. And that process went smoothly as well.

The Make It Wright team stepped into a mess, created by others, and with great calm and skill fixed it all. Thank you to them all.

Matthew & crew were delightful to work with. They were, down to the last man, communicative, thorough, straight-forward, and worked clean. I appreciate each one of them for making the whole process of furnace replacement not only painless but rather a pleasure.

In Nov2024 our 24 year old Polaris combo water heater died along with the 30 year old forced air furnace. We upgraded the Polaris and changed the furnace to a VenTum Thermal 2000 air handler. Matthews team custom fit the new air-handler into the existing plenum and duct work. All done in a day and excellent workmanship. Another HVAC contractor that was in the utility room was very impressed with the seams and construction quality.

So grateful to have found (Make It Wright HVAC) to replace our gas furnace. Matt Wright is a smart, thoughtful human and his crew, Rod and Noel are STARS! We have a less-than-ideal setup with the furnace located in our crawlspace, under the house and they managed it all, with great attention to detail and no complaints. Clearly a business that has created a really nice work culture. I'd recommend 100%.
