As the first step in a total bathroom remodel, Artisan Electric removed the old wall heater and installed a new heater/fan/light combo unit in the ceiling.
They did everything from start to finish in 1 day, were on time, professional, courteous, friendly and clean!
They've down work for us before - including a 32.panel solar system w/ whole home battery - and we will continue to work with them in the future.

I have been interested in going solar for some time now and Artisan was recommended to me by a family member. There were a couple of glitches in the process but every time I informed folks at Artisan they responded quickly and effectively. I'm happy with the quality of workmanship (the electricians were particularly thorough) and am getting addicted to the online monitoring system that tells me what's going on overhead. It does feel good to know we are part of the greening!

I've used Artisan for my Solar power install a couple of years ago and did they did a great job. Glad to use them again.
They had to replace the electrical line from power pole to the house. Previous power line was underground and the line deteriorated with numerous faults. They constructed the required electrical housing for new power panel and the necessary wiring. Everything was professionally done and looks good. Highly recommended.

I have been a proponent if solar for a while. We had originally installed a system through a different provider, but they gave me a lot of runaround and they wouldn't install the system to the capacity we needed. Enter Artisan. They were responsive with no gimmicks and extremely informative on all aspects of solar. Scheduling and installation was a breeze. They are very responsive. Highly recommeded

We picked Artisan because they proposed a solar panel roof layout that used the available roof area more efficiently than proposals from other vendors. That was fortuitous since that depended on what our roof dimensions happened to be. But, it was a fortunate choice as we felt very well taken care of by Artisan throughout the process. The price was competitive with other proposals. We liked that the solar panels were manufactured locally.

Artisan Electric has done multiple installs and other electrical jobs for me over the past ten years, at two homes. I’ve been very satisfied with their work, their communication and customer service, their professionalism and knowledge. These qualities have been consistently represented by all members of their team who have done work for me, so they’re my go-to company for solar and residential electric projects of all kinds.

Artisan was thorough and easy to work with on this project. They smoothed the road for permitting and kept everything easy for me.

Problem? They fixed it. I would absolutely use them again. I also will recommend them to all my friends and family.

Artisan’s staff made making a major purchase on my rental and my primary residence easy and comfortable. Staff was very responsive and patient with my questions and schedule concerns. I sought many bids, some coming in cheaper than Artisans, but at the end of the day I chose Artisan because of their staff, customer service and responsiveness. Because they’re a local union shop I take comfort knowing should something go wrong, I have a safety net. I’ve heard too many horror stories about their online competitors not doing their front end due diligence, bidding low then hitting the homeowner up with change orders that drive the price up. Also, the online companies cannot provide a warranty safe house. Bottom line, if you don’t have the time to look me in the eye when bidding my job or responding within a decent amount of time when I’m dropping tens of thousands of dollars, you’re not worth my business. I’ve recommended Artisan to 4 other friends and family. Three of the four pulled the trigger and cannot be happier.

Awesome! Not only did we save a BOATLOAD of money by choosing Artisan Electric, Tyler the estimator actually gave us CHOICES. Gasp! How unusual! It was nice to have a choice between a replacement electrical panel or a complete upgrade - something that the other companies failed to do.

Team Nick, Chris & Jeff were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we understood everything that we had to before they left. Would definitely recommend Artisan and we'll be using them again for sure. 5.1 stars!!

We shopped around and asked for referrals from friends and neighbors and only heard rave reviews about Artisan. The planning process was thorough, Evan Leonard gave us great details and helpful information. The installation of our solar system went very well. We had a one-week slip due to PSE. Thrilled that we're sending electricity to them now, maybe they can stop burning coal! Evan also gave us a great startup briefing and all the documents we need to apply for the tax credit. Great support also from PSCCU on the financing!

All of the people at Artisan Electric were a pleasure to work with. From beginning to end they explained things clearly, they showed up when they said they would, they did all the work that they said they would do, and they completed our installation in a timely way. Even at the end when there were some internet connection issues they had someone on it right away. Artisan is a great company to work with.

My PV system was installed in October 2020, and I received outstanding service from Artisan Electric. They were professional and friendly. The design we finalized was close to Evan’s recommendations, and was perfect for my home. It was well worth the many questions that I asked to become well-informed about the process, and all on the Artisan staff were patient with me and even seemed to appreciate my level of detailed interest. The installation process took about three days, and the lead electrician, the site coordinator, along the roof crew, were all polite and considerate, as well as extremely knowledgeable. I got the strong impression that the employees enjoyed their work and that the company is very well-managed. I did get another bid before choosing Artisan, and I am so happy that I asked Artisan Electric to design and install my system. I appreciate that Artisan is a union shop, yet the price for the other bid that I got was nearly the same price (but with less desirable choices for my installation), plus the other company’s consultant couldn’t answer quite a few of my questions. I found that Artisan designers were extremely well informed leaders in the PV industry in our area.
Since Artisan can also provide other electrical services, I feel confident that my investment will be better protected, and that this company will be around to service my system for many years. I highly recommend Artisan Electric, without reservation, to anyone considering solar panels for their home.

The staff were very helpful booking me an initial consultation, and while the nearest online appointment was 2 weeks out, Thomas was able to call me the very next day. The details and options were well explained, very transparent, and I felt like I understood more about solar & battery backups just from that initial call. Thomas’ follow up email came the next day, which I truly appreciate. At this time we have decided not to move ahead with solar, but in the future (when we’re ready,) I will definitely come back to artisan electric. Thank you!

Great company and they were great. Asked about roof age, checked for amount of sun that it would get. And gave me a whole run down of the cost, materials, payback period, and other things to expect. Installation was quick and there were no issues.

We had a great experience with Artisian Electric getting set up with a solar system including a battery. From our first conversation with Evan through the actual installation led by Josh and Nigel and a really great crew of talented people to our final product overview with the system On we had nothing but a positive experience. Professional throughout and incorporating creative thinking into the installation, including accessing an uncomfortable crawl space, their work attitude was focused on giving good service and keeping the impact on us to a minimum. Their collective knowledge in both products, design, and installation was truly impressive. In fact the King County inspector giving final inspection of the system claimed he learns nuanced details from the experts at Artisian and would definitely use them if he had a system to install. I would highly recommend them to anyone and have already done so with friends. Thank you Artisian!

Artisan makes the entire process straightforward and stress-free. We worked with Jeff to design the installation of an 8kW system. He was patient and thorough with our questions and hesitancy, as we took some time to decide to proceed. Artisan was clear with the scheduling (it does take some months to get to installation these days) and connected us with the local solar loan options. Jeff handed us off to the installation manager at the pre-installation inspection. Our installation was moved up as space opened in their schedule, as we had hoped, and the entire process took a couple of days. The team of installers worked quickly and it was much quieter than expected. The team was friendly and polite, and they cleaned up the site afterwards.

Whenever we hit a payment milestone or external inspection point, someone at Artisan would be in communication and handle it quickly. We had no issues with the permit inspections. A week or so after installation, we were worried one panel wasn't performing normally, and they sent a team over to check it out quickly.

We're now about five months past the installation, and everything is working perfectly. The software to monitor the energy generation and usage is interesting and easy to use. Artisan hands over digital copies of documentation for taxes, and photos of the installation from the roof.

We had Artisan Electric install a bigger than normal system in our home. They installed four Tesla walls and 76 solar panels. How do you evaluate the company that you have chosen to do the installation? When things don't go like they are supposed to, and the company hangs in there and works through the problem. PSE requested more engineering drawing and added some safety disconnect switches. PSE held up the project for a couple of months. Artisan Electric worked with PSE to meet their requirements and kept us informed the entire time. This is a company with integrity.

I am extremely satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism of the team who completed the install. Timeframes, estimates, and communication were all accurate and they took great care to make sure I had had a good understanding of what was going on and what would happen next. I also felt great peace of mind knowing that their work is guaranteed by the local electrician union in case anything happens to the company in the next 25 years. You’re not getting that from other companies (I think I got 10 quotes) and is the singular reason I picked Artisan. I’m really happy with that decision and would recommend them to anyone who is having a hard time deciding on a solar installer.

Wanted to get solar installed got a number of competitive quotes. The reason I went with Artisan was the extremely friendly service from Jeff Bennett, he was very patient taking extra time to explain the process. The price was also comparable with the other quotes I received.

I was really glad I went with Artisan their entire process from start to end is designed to keep you in the loop with what is going on. They are very flexible and communicative. They did exactly what they said they would each and every time.

Quality install (no roof leaks!) and worked with me to minimize the cosmetics of the install to the street front.

It really made me feel like that they had my back during the entire process and really cared about their work.

Case in point - Jeff went to bat for me when PSE screwed up and was taking a really long time to turn the system on (> 30 days - out of Artisan's control), which I really appreciated.

Only suggestion I would have for them for future improvement would be to make sure they seal the lines coming in and out of the house and not using blue painters tape for the labels, but that was caught on the inspection and fixed promptly.

Everyone at Artisan was great throughout the whole process: from estimation to coordinating a contract, then from the actual work to after-project follow-ups. They're direct, up-front, honest, and easy-going. Their crews are incredibly dedicated and professional in particular, calling on extra employees to get a difficult job done in the promised time frame. We would absolutely call on them again.

I had a great experience installing solar panels with Artisan. They were always communicative and professional. I never felt pressured to do anything and the sales rep was happy to answer my questions. The planning and installation process went well. There were a few bumps but Artisan problem solved and was always quick to respond. After the installation our sales rep, Thomas, did a thorough walk through of the system for us and helped us navigate the online monitoring system. They also put together all the tax documents for our rebate which was very easy to input when we did our taxes. I highly recommend Artisan.
